I asked myself while seating in my car, minutes after leaving Jason’s presence, with his black card still in my grip. I turned the card around and rolled my eyes at the fact that his phone number was written behind it with a Permanent ink.

I let out a laugh as I pocketed the card. This made me feel like I was in one of those chessy novels, where the arrogant male lead gives the timid and shy main character a limitless black card. In those cheesy novels, the main characters always refuse to accept the card no matter what, and if they do get to accept the card, they barely spend a dime from the card.

That was the last thing I’d be doing.

I drove out of the packing lot while a lot of thoughts ran through my mind at the same time. I didn’t know what Jason hoped to achieve by giving me this card, but whatever it was that he hoped to achieve, he’d definitely be getting the complete opposite of that.

First, I started off by stopping at a car company and buying a new model car which Kenny had been eying for a while now. It cost millions of dollars and I didn’t bat an eye as I paid with Jason’s card. I was determined to empty this black card today and I won’t be stopping until I do that.

After that, I bought three more cars. By the time I existed the company, I was certain the money in the card was already halfway through because I had burned over fifty million dollars in just an hour.

After that, I began to visit different orphanages, donating huge amounts after huge amounts. I usually do this frequently from my own money, but it felt nicer to do this with Jason’s money, especially knowing he’s definitely the type to be stingy with his money when it comes to things like the orphanage.

After that, I burned through the rest of the money in the card till it wouldn’t go through any longer, and when the account balance was checked, it was pronounced empty.

I felt extremely pleased with myself for doing this, especially because I knew Jason definitely wouldn’t see this coming. From how he kept referring to me, he definitely believed i’d be the type to be hesitant when it comes to spending his money. Perhaps I would have if if was someone else entirely, but it was asshole Jason, so I didn’t hold back in any way.

Once in my car again that evening, I whipped my phone out and typed the number into my phone, shooting him a text.

Rory: your card is empty right now because I’ve successfully spent the whole thing in it. I won’t be thanking you for the money because you’re the one who willingly offered. ;) Anyways, in case you’re curious, I got the latest telsa model for Kenny from your card because he has always wanted it. I love getting him things like this because he’s very obsessed with cars, you know?

Burning through the card was certainly fun, but i won’t be accepting another card from you if you offer. I’ve broken the empty black card, and I also have no intention of meeting with you to have a stupid conversation with you. I know I told you I’d do that within this week but I was only messing with you. Now, do ensure to stay away from me at all cost on moving forward. Kenny wasn’t happy when I told him about accepting the card from Jason, because he believed Jason might start to demand for the spent money back, but I had a feeling that something he wouldn’t do because It would make him look pathetic.

"Good, and don’t unblock him. He’s dumb for believing money is gonna make you change your mind, isn’t he aware that you’re now extremely rich as well?" Kenny asked and I snorted out a laugh because that had been my exact thoughts as well. I had just shown Kenny the text I sent to him and I could detest hints of possessiveness in Kenny’s scent. That was making my scent start to spike because it was incredibly hot whenever he gets like this, especially since it doesn’t happen often.

"Did you like the car I got for you?" I asked as Kenny’s hand trailed over my ankle, all the way to the top of my knee. His eyes locked with mine as he let out a low hum.

"I do, so much. You know cars are my weaknesses, especially that one." He rasped as his hand loosely circled the top of my bare knee and I felt my heartbeat start to accelerate.

"I do." My voice was a little choppy when Kenny fully faced me, and then he grasped my second knee and draped my two legs across his laps, right before he gently pushed me back till I was laying down and blinking up at him.

He gripped my hips and tugged my ass across his laps, draping my right leg over his shoulder, and then he was holding my second leg up to litter kisses against my ankle. I panted softly, my chest starting to heave as my eyes struggled to remain open, while desire trumed through every inch of my veins.

My eyes darted towards the entrance of the balcony. The kids were asleep, they’ve been asleep for almost an hour, but I still felt uncomfortable doing something like this in a place like this.
