I initially wanted to apologize before responding that it was only gonna make him beat me up more and more. At least now he wasn’t blowing me and pulling on my hair.

"Please!!!" I cried out as he brought the knife close to my throat.

The knife nicked my throat and I almost fainted. Next, he pulled the knife away and wiped the blood over the knife with his thumb, then he showed me a cut at the back of his next hand. Next, he pressed the thumb containing my blood over the cut behind his left hand and after a few seconds, he pulled his thumb away and I gasped in shock to see that the cut had fully healed.

Rory is still ummated.

That was the biggest surprise in all of this, one that was very convenient for this whole situation. If he had been bitten and bonded, then it would have been harder for me to carry out my plan because that way, I’d have to first find a spell to sever the mate bond and that’s gonna. It Is hard to do because severing of bonds is almost impossible because that only automatically happens when one of the two people dies. So assuming Rory had been mated, I’d have to keep him here first and find a way to kill Jason or his other alpha boyfriend before returning back for him.

Not that I was still scared of Jason.
