I know it’s just a lousy excuse, but there was something with me that was filling me with the urge to get them closer to each other physically. I had always hated when they fought and now I was glad that we were being very civil with each other and even seemed to connect over the emotional conversation we had over dinner. Which was why I suggested they share a hug right now.

Kenny glanced at me like I was insane but I only offered him a grin. He instantly looked uncomfortable but I knew if he was actually uncomfortable, I’d would have been obvious in his scent. When I glanced at Jason, he didn’t look angry like I expected, nor was he objecting to my idea. Instead, his eyes were on Kenny’s face and he was staring at him as if trying to read him. That struck me with a feeling of surprise because last I remembered, Jason absolutely hated Kenny, so for him to not be objecting right now screamed a different story. When Kenny finally glanced at Jason, I noticed his throat move in a swallow and my eyes widened a little at the meek look that appeared in his eyes as he watched Jason size him up slowly. The look was gone almost immediately, replaced by a bored and flat expression as he jutted his chin at an amused looking Jason who slowly cloeee the distance between himself and Kenny.

"Let’s get this over with." Kenny called out, confidently closing the rest of the distance and lightly wrapping his arms around Jason’s shoulders Jason and keeping a good distance between them. He patted Jason’s back once and made to pull away, but then Jason’s arms wrapped around Kenny’s waist, tugging him closer till no gap was between them.

"Why the rush? We’re suppose to hug all our difference out, aren’t we?" Jason drawled, lips slightly ghosting Kenny’s ear as he spoke and Kenny’s face was red, his scent starting to spike as he spluttered out a response.

"Stop messing around!"

Jason chuckled softly and surprisingly leaned down to ghost his nose over Kenny’s jaw.

"I’m not. I’m only doing as your boyfriend asked." Jason drawled just as Kenny’s flushed eyes locked with mine with an accusatory look and I quickly slapped my mouth close, realizing Witt shock that I had thoroughly enjoyed this little show that barely lasted past two minutes. I cleared my throat and tried getting my thoughts together because it had quickly darkened from an innocent hug to images of Jason and Kenny doing more than just hugging. Fuck. What the hell was weird with me?

At this point, Jason had already released Kenny, and Kenny was no longer looking annoyed. Instead, he was wearing his blank expression on bit I wasn’t fooled by it in any way. Jason’s eyes were still peering into the side of Kenny’s face and as I stared hard at Jason, at the faint bulge in his pants, I wondered if he was attracted to Kenny. I mean, it made sense, right? That would explain why they bickered so much because I know Kenny was attracted to Jason just fine even though he’d never outrightly admit it.

Jason told us he’d be seeing us tomorrow as agreed and after he finally left, I heard Kenny let out a deep breath breath beside me. I glanced up at him and asked if he was alright, and he let out a low hum and a nod.

"Of course. Just tired." He responded and I got the urge to snort but decided against it. This was beyond cute anyway because in all my years with Kenny, I’ve never seen any alpha have any sort of effect on him at any point. It got to a point that I even wondered if he was actually attracted to alphas like he told me in the past when we were just getting to know each other.

"So..." Kenny and I were laying in the bed. He was underneath the covers, laptop perched atop his lap but he wasn’t doing anything on it. I was seated over the headboard of the bed and messing with his hair, my legs hanging down his shoulders as I continued.

"I want to ask a question and I want honest answers, okay?" I began and he gave me a go ahead without hesitation.

"Do you find Jason attractive?" I asked and his fingers which were moving over my feet stopped.

"I mean, yeah... he’s obviously attractive. He meets all the standards out there. Anyone who claims otherwise is just lying." He responded, and it sounded like he picked up his words carefully.

I hummed and continued to mess with his blond hair.

"So... are you attracted to him?" I asked and this time, he turned around to glance at me.

"Rory!" He called out but I rolled my eyes.

"Just answer the question, please?" I pressed, batting my lashes and his lips got pursed before he shook his head.

"No, I’m not."

I narrowed my eyes. "You’re not?" I asked and he nodded again.

"Why would I be?"

God. Kenny is a liar alright.

"You won’t be cheating on me, Kenny! Cmon, just play along." I whined but he still appeared uncomfortable and I sighed, feeling like shaking him hard.

"Okay, let’s say hypothetically. Are you attracted to him?"

He hesitated for about two minutes before finally nodding and I almost let out a ’aha!’ sound. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"Just hypothetically." He added and I hummed as I nodded.

"Hypothetically, do you see yourself letting him dominate and fuck you?" I asked and Kenny turned around to glance at me again.

"Just hypothetically." I reminded him and he sighed, dragging his hand over his face like this entire conversation was stressing him out.

"He doesn’t even seem like he’s into alphas. Rory. He’s the type to judge against that." He pointed out but I seriously doubt that after witnessing him staring at Kenny like he wanted to eat him up. That was similar to the same look he had in his eyes the time he scented me.

"But answer the question, hypothetically, of course." I added and Kenny pursed his lips again before finally nodding.

"Yeah, I guess. I- I guess It would feel nice to get... fucked by someone like that. Bigger, stronger and powerful. Hypothetically, of course. In reality, that’s a big no, because he’s an aashole and I hate him."

I had to force myself to not laugh in Kenny’s face right now.

"Of course, baby."

Niko slept throughout the night and that pleased me immensely, thanks to Jason’s scent. That means Jason is gonna be coming over very frequently for now, and surprisingly, that thought pleased me, especially since he wasn’t entitled to all of this like.

Niko and Anna were eating and bickering together, and that pleased me immensely as I watched the scene unfold. Niko was telling Anna he was gonna always protect her no matter what and Anna was reminding him she was the senior between them.

Once noon reached, we bundled them into the car and drove them over to Kenny mother’s. Today was a Friday and they were gonna hang out with her till Sunday. Niko was looking forward to this since breakfast and it pleased Kenny and I that he was no longer disinterested in things, but we knew the effect of Jason’s scent over him would soon wear off, which means in no time, we’d be needing a more permanent cure for this, and that can’t happen if Jason’s enigma doesn’t wake up, which is exactly why after we dropped the kids off, we were currently heading over to Jason’s apartment.

"Before we start, I want to get it out there that I might lose control of my enigma again." Jason admitted. He was sitting on my right side again, and since I wore a round necked top, I had to fully take it off, and so far, it’s a clear struggle for Jason to not stare at my body.

"And I just know I’d get aroused again, because let’s face it. That can’t be helped. You’d get aroused too, Rory, and don’t feel embarrassed about it." He continued and my cheeks burned as I nodded.

"I’ll supervise and make sure you don’t fully lose yourself." Kenny said to Jason, and Jason’s eyes temporarily lingered on Kenny’s lips before he nodded. The air felt thick between us, but not with nervousness but with sexual tension. I went to pretend like I wasn’t feeling it but I knew that would just be a lie.

Before Jason even began the scenting, I was already a little turned on, so as soon as the scenting began, it was a lost cause. I was panting and mewling and arching off the couch while Jason’s teeth grazed over my scent gland continuously, growls leaving his throat while his firm grip around my throat remained unmoving.

Oh gods. I was a mess at this point.

When Jason pulled away, tinges of red was in his eyes and he appeared as wrecked as I felt. Our scenes were thick in the air, but it felt incomplete and not yet right within me. My chest heaved as I licked my bottom lip before speaking, eyes locked with Jason’s blazing ones.

"I think you should scent Kenny."
