Alex was breathing hard, eyes trained on me as I got closer and closer to him. He had lost most of the color of his skin, and he appeared to have grown thinner than I remembered. This made me feel slightly amused, because this means if I hadn’t somehow survived, he might have also ended up dying after going through all that stress to get his hands on me. I stopped a few inches away, staring at him warily while silently asking myself if I was doing the right thing right now. Now that he was weak, it’s my only chance to run away from here since he looks too weak to actually chase after me. But he might have guards outside. He definitely does, so I wasn’t sure if that was still a part of the options.

But I have no reason being this close to him, to somehow who has tried to ruin my life countless times. To somehow who shot my boyfriend. To someone who killed my sister who was as bad as him, and he only did it for his selfish gain. I knew I didn’t have to do this at all. I was only this close to him right now because I wanted to kill him. He looked weak enough, like he might die soon because of lack of more of my blood inside of him. However, I didn’t want him to get that kind of death. I want it to come from me and I need it to actually hurt him, and I need him to be aware that I was taking his life for what he did to Jason.

However I know Alex was strong and smart so even though he might appear weak right now, it still wouldn’t be an easy task to kill hin.

I kept stating at him, watdvuhf as he coughed out blood again before making grabby hands at me. He was clearly very desperate and I almost laughed right now because seeing him in pain was so entertaining.

"How’s this even gonna work anyway?" I asked while eying him closely, trying to stylishly figure out a spot to stab him in. He coughed weakly and made grabby hands at me once more before speaking, voice shaky and strained.

"I’ll- I’ll just bite you and drink..." he began and I scoffed in amusement.

"Hell no. Even my boy friends are yet to bite me." I tell him and he grimaced, choking on blood this time before speaking.

"Please. It would only be a minute." He pleaded: this was the first time I’ve ever heard him beg. Even back when I thought we were happily dating, he never had to beg for anything because he was the crowned prince and they always get whatever they want, whenever they want it.

"How about you beg harder? And I think I want more apologies from you, for the amount of times you wrecked my life." I drawled as I folded my arms; knowing damn well that I was enjoying this way more than I should. Alex fell to his knees; legs too weak to hold him up and he held his chest and heaved a few times his gaze darkened, reminding me of the old Alex.

"Just do this and get it over with!" He called out sharply before wincing. It was clear as day that he wasn’t used to being humble that he couldn’t even keep the pleading act up for long even if he doesn’t mean any of those words.

I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue, making a show of turning around just as I spoke.

"Seems like you’re not desperate enough. I’ll be off now." I called out with a backward wave as I headed straight to the door. After I took rheee steps, his voice was desperate as he pleased for me to wait. I smirked hard and remained still for a rmoment before slowly turning around, my arms folded around my middle and then I rolled my eyes and tapped my feet.

"I’m waiting then."

He remained still for a few minutes, the silence stretching out between us before he finally broke the silence.

"I’m sorry. For everything I did to ever wrong you. I deeply apologize for them." He began, voice low and face red, like this was such a mortifying thing to do. It made me feel more excited about this and I forced down a laugh as I urged him to go on.

"Make it more emotional and more personal. List some of the things you did to wrong me while at that."

At this point, there was no denying that I was indeed very must enjoying this. Alwx looked like he wished he could wring my throat right now and that made me snicker while waiting for him to continue.

"For— for the times I kidnapped you, I’m sorry. For the times I tried to get you to sleep with me. I’m sorry. For shooting Jason, I’m sorry." At the mention of Jason, I didn’t feel like this was funny any longer: the amusement that had been lingering in the air since the beginning of this mess of an apology, was suddenly no where to be found. In its place was anger, anger so red, it roared through my mind.

Having no more time for games, I was walking close to him while making sure I could feel the knife in my pocket. I stepped really close to him, because he was on the ground, he had to stare up at me and the desperation was clear in his eyes. I clicked my tongue and made a show of wrinkling my nose.

"No touching." I said and he nodded frantically and once again; I resisted the pressing urge to laugh right now.

I crouched before him and bared my arm, just as I spoke.

"You can try drinking from here." I said tensely just as my nerves began to grow inside me, making my chest suddenly feel extremely tight. What I was about to do was dangerous and reckless, especially when I’ve never stabbed anyone before.

But that doesn’t matter. I’ll be doing it for the first time today.

Those thoughts were still running through my mind when a firm grip closed around my ankle and I tumbled on the ground in a fall so hard, my head hit the floor with a hard thud and at once; my eyesight began to go blurry. Alex’s voice was booming as he snickered, even though he was still weak, telling from the cracks in his voice.

"Stupid bitch, so you deluded yourself into thinking you were in charge here for a single second? How hilarious!" Alex exclaimed through coughs and I felt a drop of blood land on my cheek from his mouth as he weakly straddled me. I tried kicking him off me but only managed to grow weaker, while my eyesight grew more darker and blurrier. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

"I was very sure you died! How are you alive, you freak?" Alex continued, coughing for a bit before he leaned over me and began to shove the top of my shirt off, exposing my throat and shoulders.

"Anyways, I- I don’t care. Now I’ll drain your blood by drinking right from the source. I only need to top up the blood already inside me for my body to fully adapt to the special blood of yours." He continued, snickering to himself as he roughly shoved my head sideways.

I felt extremely weak right now, but I was also determined to end this once and for all, and somehow, its very convenient that he’s straddling me. He leaves down and licked over nt pulse point, groaning over how good my skin tastes and how delicious my blood smelt through my pores. As he busied himself with the right spot to bite into, I carefully reached for the knife in my pocket and as soon as my hand wrapped around the crystal hilt, I didn’t hesitate for a second and I plunged it right into the middle of my chest.

He instantly stiffened above me, eyes slowly widening as he leaned back as if in a trance, right before he took in the knife embedded in his chest. He gasped just as blood began to gush out from the sides around the knife, filling up his mouth as well to drip down his chin.

He attempted to speak as he hurriedly reached for the hilt of the knife and attempted to pull it out. I reacted up and wrapped my hands around his, using all of my might to fully push on the knife till the hilt went in as well. As soon as the crystal fully slid into his chest, bright blue light suddenly glowed right from the bleeding wound in his chest and his eyes, just as he let out a scream as he fell off me to whrith helplessly across the ground, bleeding everywhere.

My mouth remained open in shock and it didn’t close till he stopped moving, just as the blow glowing lights disappeared.

Alex was dead!
