What the fuck was she doing here??! I thought within myself as the car slowed till it stopped. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was Anna in all her glory, and she was right in front of my home.

Why? The fuck?

I haven’t seen Anna in almost four years and in all honesty, I thought I’d never get to see her ever again, which I was okay with because last I remember, I got betrayed by her. The images rushed into my mind almost immediately, the shock of finding her in bed with my Fiance, Alex, and listening to the vile things they spoke about me. Thinking about it right now sent a wave of pain through me because I used to love and trust Anna so much.

Kenny was staring at me when I glanced at him, and he nodded towards Anna. "You know her?"

I nodded grimly while undoing my seatbelt. "It’s my sister, the one I told you about and my only sister."

His eyes widened. "Anna?"

I nodded once and he huffed. "What the fuck is she doing here and how the hell did she find you?" He demanded and that was the exact thoughts running through my head right now. I couldn’t fully wrap my head around the reason why she was here right now.

"Are you alright to go down?" Kenny asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Of course I am. I’m not the scared omega I was in the past." I informed him as I got the car door open and stepped out of it. Anna’s eyes widened as soon as it landed on me, it was clear that she had still been unsure of if she was at the right place, but seeing me right now had just proven to her that she was right.

Slowly, a smile spread out across her beautiful face as she slowly sauntered forward. Her hair framed her face and eyes, matching her black dress and net gloves. She stopped before and attempted to tug me into a hug but I held a hand up as I stepped backwards, making her smile falter a little.

"Rory!!! It’s been ages! I can’t believe I’m staring at you right now!" She gushed out, smiling eagerly as she looked me up and down. Her scent was like I remember, citrus and lime, and her skin still glowed like it always did. It didn’t seem like she aged one bit, she was still gorgeous as ever. I looked her up and down slowly before clearing my throat and locking my eyes with hers.

"Can I help you, please?" I asked, keeping my voice extremely neutral. What I actually wanted to do was to slap her and order her to leave at once, but I didn’t want her to still think she could evoke that kind of emotion from me.

A frown slowly replaced the smile across her face and it pleased me immensely. I was a little confused because it seemed like she was expecting a grand welcome after literally betraying me in the past.

"Rory, it’s me! Your sister. Anna." She said slowly as she took a step closer to me and I rolled my eyes before holding a hand out again.

"I’m well aware, and I’m asking what it is that you want." I stated and she flinched at the hint of hardness in my voice.

"I- I don’t want anything! I- I just miss you. I miss my brother." She revealed and as I stared at her right now, it took everything in me to not best out laughing at once.

"You miss me..?" I echoed and she nodded fast.

"I really did. I swear."

I stared at her pointedly, trying to read her because I wasn’t stupid, it was clear she was here for a reason. I was still staring at her when Kenny came over to stand beside. I notice that there was no confusion across her face at the sight of Kenny. Interesting. It means she definitely know about us before this very moment.

"How did you find this place?" I finally asked and at first, she laughed awkwardly.

"I did a lot of research before finding it." She revealed and I hummed again, not bothering to call her out on the blatant lie.

"Well, you can leave then. You have no business being here." Kenny spoke this time and Anna peered at him for a moment.

"I’m talking to my brother." She bit out and Kenny snorted. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"The same one you betrayed in the past? Stop being so delusional right now and get lost." Kenny snapped and Anna flinched, clearly shocked about the mention of the past. When her eyes locked with mine once again, I shrugged lazily.

"You heard him. You can leave now."

She spluttered. "But- but I came to see you!" She cried out and I scoffed.

"But why would you dare to show your face around me after our past?" I questioned, voice extremely sharp this time and she swallowed emptily.

"I- I..."

"Leave, Anna. And don’t come back." I said flatly and she fidgeted.

"But I came here to tell you something!"

I hummed. "I don’t care. I’m not interested in whatever you want to tell me. Now, please leave." I repeated calmly again and she shook her here once again.

"Listen, Rory, this is really important..." she was still speaking when Kenny whipped out his phone and began to call on security.

Anna still didn’t leave and kept insisting on wanting to reveal something to me. Now, I’d have been curious if this was a different case. But this is from someone of my past, a past I wanted nothing to do with, which is exactly why I wasn’t interested in listening to anything she wanted to say.

When security stepped out of our compound, they bundled Anna up and dragged her away while she screamed bloody murder.

"Good riddance." I muttered as we walked into the house and Kenny hummed in agreement.

"I hope this is the last of her we’ll see." He sighed out and I couldn’t agree more.

He shrugged out of his shirt and began to head down the hallway, only stopping when I asked where he was heading to.

"To check up on Niko. You’re still having that talk with him tonight, right?" He asked and my heartbeat instantly picked up at the reminder that i’m to reveal Niko’s real father to him today. That was something that made me nervous so I wasn’t looking forward to it but I nodded because I couldn’t put it off even if I wanted to. Niko needed help as fast as possible and this is the only way.

I disappeared into the room I shared with Kai and jumped into the restroom to take a thorough shower. Back at Jason’s house, I had only used some paper towels to clean most of my slick up, which is why most of the dried up slick was rushing down the drain right now.

After the shower, I dressed in something soft and comfortable that was a mixture of myself and kenny. However after that scenting session today, Jason’s scent had stuck against my skin and didn’t wash off even after the shower. This means I’d be smelling of Jason when I’d speak to Niko tonight.

Is that even a good thing or a bad thing?

In Niko’s room, I sat in his bed and he was sitting between kenny and I. After that incident two days ago, because he now reacted negatively to my scent, he tends to not be all over me anymore like he sometimes is. However, to my utmost surprise, about a minute after we remained like this, he crawled into my lap and wrapped his arms around my throat, face buried in my throat.

"You smell nice, dad." He mumbled and my eyes widened as my eyes locked with Kenny’s. He was clearly referring to Jason’s scent.

"You smell different, dad." He continued, "like an alpha. Why do you smell like this, dad? And this is different from Kenny’s scent." He continued and I bit on my bottom lip, suddenly speechless.

"Do you like the scent?" I asked carefully and he inhaled deeply before nodding.

"It feels... strong. Strong and safe." He mumbled, face scrunched up in cute confusion. His response made me relax a little, at least he hadn’t hated the scent.

"The truth is... this is your father’s scent." I finally revealed and he only blinked once as seconds blended into minutes.

"Oh." He muttered. His voice didn’t give anything away and I glanced up at Kenny who indicated for me to continue.

"Yes, baby. I was wondering if you’d like to meet him?" I continued and he instantly shook his head.

My eyes widened.

"Why not? Any reason?"

"I don’t know, I just don’t think I’m interested since I have Kenny." He responded with a small shrug and I bit at the inside of my mouth while looking over at Kenny.

"But he’s an enigma like you. Wouldn’t you like to meet him? Even though it’s just a few minutes." Kenny spoke this time and Niko sighed reluctantly.

"I guess I can. But, is he nice though?" He asked and Kenny almost snorted as he resounded.

"Of course, champ. The nicest."
