I looked between the two of them. Kenny had a grim expression and his lips were in a thin line. Jason’s jaw was clenched and the burning anger was clear in his eyes. I looked between them once again, suddenly feeling tongue tied.

Jason cupped my face, his thumb stroking my cheek as he continued. "We didn’t bring it up because we didn’t want to remind you of that horrible stuff, but we’re your mates and despite how much we want you, we can control ourselves well no matter what, so we had decided to just wait till you’re more healed..." he trailed off to huff and glance away while his jaw flexed a little,

"this is exactly why I badly wanted to kill him myself, how dare he do that to you?" His voice hardened this home and I took his hand in mine and brought it up to kiss it, and then I let out a breath after clearing my throat.

"Guys, wait... I think there has been a misunderstanding somewhere." I began and my two mates exchanged a look before peering at me curiously.

I bit on my bottom lip for a moment as I looked between my mates again. Jason still looked fairly furious and even though Kenny was clearly trying to still be in control of his emotions , his scent was giving him away. I huffed out another breath and moved off Kenny’s laps and got to the end of the bed so I was facing the two of them before continuing.

"Guys... whatever Alex told you, he definitely lied." I began and they both sat up at once.

"What? He did??" Jason echoed and I nodded at once.

"Alec didn’t- he didn’t touch me, at least not like you are both thinking." I continued and they both exchanged another look before Kenny let out a huff.

"You’re sure?"

I nodded once. "He- he did try to touch me. He did touch me." I began and Jacob was back to glaring, face in hard lines just as I rushed to add.

"But not all the way!"

Kenny’s eyes were filled with anger at this point and Jason was the one who spoke this tone.

"Oh."

He was clearly confused and shocked and I continued, feeling extremely weird and hating that speaking about this right now was sending all those dark memories to start swimming through my head right now.

"Not all the way. He tried to, but he didn’t end up doing it all the way," I explained and this time, they didn’t look like they believed me.

"Are you certain of this? You might unconsciously be in denial because your body is tricking your mind." Jenny spoke softly, a look of pain across his face when our eyes locked. I briefly considered what he said but ended up discarding the probability. I still vividly remember what actually happened and I was very certain Alex didn’t end up seeing through with it. It has nothing to do with my mind trying to trick my body.

"I am very certain. Alex did try, but I kept crying, so he got fed up and ended up not doing it. I think he told you guys he did it because he wanted you to lose control after being consumed by anger." I informed them, because knowing Alex, that was the king of stuff he was great at. Mind games and manipulation, which was why I believed he loved me at the very beginning, meanwhile he had been sleeping with my sister right under my nose.

"Wowww," Kenny breathed out and I nodded. Jason was clearly still in doubt.

I folded my arms as I looked between the two of them. "Nothing happened to me, of that sort, at least. So you don’t have to treat me like I’m fragile or breakable. I miss us, how we used to be before. Cause, now it always feels like you guys are being watchful and careful around me whenever we’re in the bedroom." I admitted quietly and in the next moment they were shuffling to the edge of the bed.

Jason grabbed my hips softly and tugged me forward till I was standing between his legs. He kissed my stomach after slightly bunching my sweater up, and then my hip. My breath instantly hitched in my throat as I stared down at him, my heart starting to accelerate at once.

"That was never our intention, we promise. Okay? We were just being careful, that’s all. We miss you like crazy, how we used to be, but we were content with just having you close by, you know?"

I tread my finger through his hair and the other in Kenny’s hair. Kenny was gripping one of my laps and staring up at me as well.

"That’s the truth. Aside from that, if we had no idea you were perfectly fine, well... you might have gotten knocked up at this point." Kenny huffed out and I gasped at the unexpectedness of his words while Jason snickered, looking like he actually agreed with Kenny.

"Well, clearly I’m perfectly fine, so no more holding back, yes?" I offered while glancing between the two of them and they both nodded slowly. I pushed their hairs away from their faces right before they made room between them for me to sit in, and then they took turns in kissing me deeply and intensely, till I was gasping for breath and finding it hard to breathe.

After that, it’s safe to say that although the rest of the night was a blur, it still ended up leaving me feeling extremely sated and also sore, but in a way that made me smile whenever I think about the crazy night.

Everyone seated around the large table here in grandma Nini’s apartment were hooting for joy, right after we announced our engagement to all of them. All our loved ones were present, Kenny’s mum and a few cousins, Jason’s best friend- Malik, and Ace, and a few friends of mine.

A series of congratulations and thanks went through the air in the next few moments and loads of hugs and kisses were exchanged as well before everywhere finally quietened down. Grandma Nini was so happy that she cried for joy and hugged me so tightly, it took minutes for her to let go.

My cheeks were hurting from how hard I was currently smiling, and I’ve never felt as happy in ages as I felt right now.

None of our families were aware that I was kidnapped, and I was happy with that. I didn’t need them constantly worrying about me. Now the danger was already completely out of the picture so I was certain there won’t be any need for anyone to be worried for my safety again.

"This is such wonderful news. Has a date for the wedding been selected yet?" Kenny’s mother asked while holding my arms. Kenny’s mother was the sweetest ever and I genuinely liked her. She was so cool, so sweet and she was always happy to spend time with the kids no matter what. I found it cute how she sometimes still fussed over Kenny, and I liked to tease Kenny about it but I actually found it really sweet and sometimes wish that I had a mother to do that to me. However, that was before. Currently, for some weird reasons, I have lost all interest in anything relating to my parents: I was happy the way I am and will continue to be happy no matter what.

Before I could respond, Kenny was slinging a hand over Jaxon’s shoulder and telling him he didn’t know Jaxon asked his mother for permission to marry him first. Jaxon blushed as all attention focused on him. Meanwhile I found that really sweet and knew he’d have asked for permission from my parents if I had one in my life.

"I’d like to raise a toast." Malik spoke as he got to his feet and everyone went silent.

"Don’t forget kids are present." Ace drawled and everyone laughed again but Malik rolled his eyes before continuing, giving a very beautiful speech that shed light into who Jason really is, and he said a few words for Jason and myself that made everyone laugh. After that, we all clinked our glasses together in hoots of cheers while laughing heartily.

On the way home that evening, the car ride was bubbling and filled with so much vibe. Jason and Kenny were halfway drunk because after the meal we all shared, they went off with the rest of the guys to go drink while I stayed in to catch up with the grown women present, which is why I was the one driving right now.

Niko and Anna were loudly singing while Kenny and Jason were literally ruining the songs with their off key vocals, but they all made it work and were clearly having fun together.

Tonight could have been the best ever if I didn’t almost collide with a very big trunk.
