It was raining, and the clouds were pitch black. I glanced over at Ace who was chewing on his bottom lip, staring outside the window. Once again, I found myself being transfixed by the sheer handsomeness of his face.

He was sitting in the passenger seat of my car, and we had just driven from Jason’s after having that conversation with them. Shortly after I pulls up in my compound, the sky opened and it began to pour heavily.

"I guess we have to wait in here till the rain reduces." I said as a way to break the silence. Ace stiffened before glancing at me and I was hit with a sharp wave of desire. The air felt tight and charged between us, and Witt each passing day, it was getting harder to resist pulling him into a kiss. But of course I’d never do that, not without being sure if he wanted me or not.

All his actions might say that he wanted me but I couldn’t ne too sure and would prefer to hear the answer from his mouth instead of just assuming.

"Or we could just run right into the house, the rain would barely touch us that way." He said almost dryly with a low chuckle and I shook my head, reaching out to brush his hair out of his face: my fingers felt like it tingled as it brushed against the soft skin of his forehead and I reluctantly pulled my hand away to huff out a breath.

"We’re not doing that. What if you get hit by one of the thunderbolts?" I said and he rolled his eyes while snickering.

"Oh my, you’re such an old man." He sighed and I stiffened, feeling a little self conscious and feeling that brief part of me that was certain he considered me too old for him and won’t ever be attracted to me, pulse to life at once.

"Brat." I huffed out before leabing against my seat and pushing my hair out of my face. Ace didn’t say anything and silence began to stretch out between us till I broke it.

"I got struck by a thunder bolt a long time ago." I blurted out before I could stop myself and I felt Ace’s startled gaze on me without turning.

"Oh." He whispered and I felt regret seeping into his voice, which made me roll my eyes.

"You don’t need to feel bad for what you said, you didn’t know I had a past like that. But that did traumatize me so I don’t like the thought of ever walking underneath the rain." I offered and I felt him exhale slowly.

"We’ll wait till it stops raining then." He offered and I glanced over at him to see his eyes dragging over my face, clearly trying to search for something. Feeling a little unnerved and bare, I glanced away again.

As the rain grew heavier, I expected Ace to start complaining at a point and claim to have start feeling stuffy or to insist he’d go right in and leave me in here till whenever I was ready to come into the house, but he didn’t end up doing any of that.

Instead, he said the complete opposite.

"Since you told me a secret of yours, what if I tell you one in return?" He offered and in glancing over at him, his eyes were sparkling. I snorted while my heart did a little leap.

"That wasn’t a secret; it just never came up in a conversation before, but sure, go ahead." I said and instantly regretted it because it just dawned on me that I didn’t sound like I was interested in hearing what he was about to tell me.

He briefly scowled at me, looking extremely hot as hell with his long hair framing his face, the strands that had escaped the little ponytail behind his head.

"I didn’t mean to sound that way, I actually want to hear what you were about to say." I rushed to add and he waited a beat before grinning at me, and then he turned around even more so he was fully facing me.

"So... I’m a virgin."

My eyes almost flew out my sockets and I actually choked on thin air, which led to me accidentally hitting the car horn. Ace’s face was a little pink when I glanced over at him and I let my eyes wander over him, while what he just revealed to me sank deeper and deeper into me.

"Oh." I finally blurt out, mouth suddenly feeling dry. Ace ended up huffing and turning away, the tips of his ears pink.

"Don’t be weird about it or anything, it’s not a big deal. I don’t even know why I told you that," he muttered and I instantly struggled for something tangible to say right now.

That was the last thing I expected him to say. As my eyes drank him up, I was filled with shock again. I never expected him to be a virgin, because he just always feel so confident and like he knew what he was doing everytime so I just assumed he had done that already, but then thinking about it now, I realized it made a lot of sense seeing as he was just nineteen anyway.

"It’s not something to be ashamed about." I finally spoke and he slowly glanced over at me.

"Yeah?" He mumbled and I hummed while nodding. I reached out and let my fingers brush against his chin, and then I tilted his face sideways even more.

"Yeah. It’s not a bad thing at all." I stated, my eyes darting between his eyes and lips and he gulped, blinking a few times before licking his bottom lip.

His eyes grew bigger and diluted, or perhaps it was just my imagination- I couldn’t be certain, because right now, I want to kiss him so fucking bad and to me, it looks like he always wants it.

"Are you sure?" He whispered lowly and his breath hit my lips as he spoke. "You aren’t repulsed or anything?" He continued and I frowned, tilting my head as I regarded him closely and I picked up an unsure look in his eyes.

"What? Why would I be?" I asked and he flushed red before hastily averting his gaze. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

"Oh god, what’s wrong with me? I wasn’t supposed to say that because it wasn’t like it-it was your business if I was a virgin or not, and it- it probably sounded like I wanted you to fuck me or something when I don’t!" As those words rushed from his mouth, I stared at him intently, trying to make sense of what had just happened.

But it made no sense to me.

Ace’s cheeks were still pink and his ears were still red. His fingers were entwined in his shirt in a way I’d term as nervous.

I frowned again before clearing my throat.

"Look at me, Ace," I said, voice calm. He stiffened but remained in the same position.

I clicked my tongue once before trying again. "Look at me, Ace,"

He swallowed emptily before finally glancing at me. At once, my eyes dropped to his lips and lust swelled in my stomach for a moment.

"What is it? Spit it out," I began and he shrugged before shaking his head. He wouldn’t meet my eyes and I dragged my fingers through my hair because I badly wanted to figure out what had suddenly happened. It was all going smoothly, I had been holding his chin and we had literally almost shared a kiss. I let my mind traveled back to the exact line of conversation we were having before he arbuptly turned away.

"Did you think you being a virgin repelled me?" I asked and he stiffened, cheeks darkening even more and I sighed in a realization, unable to believe my ears. Did he really think that? If he could see my mind right now, the way that piece of information had literally drove me more crazy, and my alpha had doubled down on the obsession he had of Ace since the very beginning.

Before I could stop myself, I reached out and grasped his chin firmly, tilting it sideways till our eyes locked.

"Ace, I’m not repelled by the fact that you’re a virgin. It’s not a bad thing or something to be ashamed of. Anybody would be privileged to be your first." I spoke slowly, having to force myself to not say all the lewd thoughts in my mind right now, like how I believed he belonged to me and that no one deserved to get the privilege of taking his virginity except me. But I didn’t say that because I was the older one here and needed to be rational and mature about this, especially since it seemed to have really troubled him, which had instantly filled me with the urge to make things right at once.

Ace locked his bottom lip and exhaled slowly before speaking.

"What if you get to take my virginity? Will you- will you consider it a privilege?"
