Raya ended up throwing me out.

On taking two steps forward, the next word made me stop in my tracks.

"Honey, let me go give him a hand with his belongings." Trevor’s voice rang out clearly and I whirled around to instantly object just as Raya spoke.

"No, don’t help him. He’ll probably try seducing you again." She whispered, voice breaking and something clenched in my chest.

I felt disgust gather in my stomach. She really didn’t trust me one bit and this was proof.

"He won’t, I’m sure he regrets his past actions. Let me go help him out." Trevor responded to his wife and then he kissed her head, then I retched.

I turned away and began to continue my journey, not interested in waiting on Trevor but he was at my side in no time, taking most of my stuff from me despite my protests.

I seethed, anger and rage churning in every part of my veins.

I remained silent until we got outside the compound, and then I shoved him hard, feeling immensely angry.

Tears sprang to my eyes. The urge to cry had been hovering around my insides since the moment Trevor painted me into the bad guy but I fought against the urge theb and I was currently fighting against it right now, because Crying in front of Trevor is one thing I never want to experience again.

A son caught in my throat this time which I quickly swallowed down, and then I stepped away from him before exhaling slowly.

"Let me drop you off at a hotel, you can spend the next few days there. Then after that, we can figure out your next move." He began to speak and I regarded him in bewilderment.

"Now that my wife hates you, you don’t need to feel guilty any more. I knew that was what was holding you back from giving in to me, which was why I decided to do what I did, because I knew it would instantly ruin this friendship between you two. I told you I knew my wife, didn’t I?" He laughed this time like he had just said the funniest thing ever and I let out a laugh filled to the brim with disbelief as I kept staring at him.

"Wait... so, just to be clear. You still want to fuck me?" I questioned and he rolled his eyes like I was asking a ridiculous question.

"Of course I still do, and I’d prefer it if it was willing and not forced. I said this to you, didn’t I?" He explained and I shook my head, taking another step back just as a laugh bubble out of me.

"You can’t be serious right now." I breathed out and then he stepped closer to me in the next moment.

As he spoke, he genuinely sounded like he believed I was actually considering all that he was currently saying.
