We were exiting the small cafe together when Rory suddenly stopped dead in his tracks, a shocked expression across his face.

"What’s wrong?" I asked him before following his line of sight and my eyes landed on the new husband of Raya. His presence wasn’t what was shocking at that moment, it was the fact that a woman was beside him, along with two kids that looked just like him.

"That bastard!" Rory gritted out just as Jason returned to ask if we were okay because the kids were already waiting in the car. Jason didn’t even look surprised when he realized what was going on, and Rory still looked very furious.

"I knew there was something off about him! Something just didn’t seem right about him!" Rory continued, face firmed in a scowl as he continued, clearly very furious.

" I told Raya he might just be out for her money but she felt insulted and I had to apologize! But see! I ended up being right!" He continued. " When he came to talk to me at the wedding, he revealed that Raya had told him of what I said about him, and he didn’t even bother trying to change my mind. Look at the asshole and his little family. Do you guys think his wife is aware of what he’s doing?" He suddenly asked again and I felt myself shrugging a little. We were standing at the corner in the cafe and Peter and his family still hadn’t noticed us. They looked very cozy and cute together, his wife and him had even shared a kiss at one point during their meal together, so clearly there was no way he could lie his way out of this.

"What do you think I should do?" Rory asked and I shrugged, completely on the fence when it came to Raya. I wasn’t fond of her since I heard she believed her husband over Rory’s words, but at the end of the day Rory still helped her out unlike some other people who’d have decided to get revenge on her by finally getting into Trevor’s bed. And now that he tried helping her again, she went ahead to tell her husband about what he said. Clearly from the sounds of things, this raya is forever gonna be dumb. Like, it was a lost cause for her and she wasn’t gonna be saved at this point.

I felt a little bad for her but not bad enough to feel sympathy for her.

"I think we should just mind our business and leave." I finally said and Rory gasped.

"Kenny!" He called out but I only shrugged

"It’s the truth. Didn’t you say she told this man that you believed he was out for her money? What’s the guarantee that she’s gonna believe you if you tell her about this? She’s gonna think you’re lying and that you’re just trying to stop her from being happy, and especially when I know she’s still mad at you from the wedding." I explained and Rory sighed, chewing on his bottom lip for a moment, clearly very conflicted.

"I just don’t know..," he finally sighed out. I reached out and pushed his hair out of his face.

"We can just leave..." I began and he shot me a frown that made me almost laugh.

"I can’t just leave, Kenny. I’ll feel very guilty about it." He admitted quietly. "Raya is just... she’s someone that trusts too easily and I know I shouldn’t even be contemplating helping her but I guess it’s just my nature to help at this point." He began to explain and I hummed, unsure of what to say next. If I could, I’d whisk him out of here as fast as possible.

He turned to Jason before I could attempt to do that.

"What do you think, Jason?"

"I think Raya is a dumb fool and she should go fuck her self. Kenny’s right and I also think we should leave." Jason responded, blunt as usual and I had to stifle a laugh when Rory gasped this time before shoving at Jason’s chest.

That finally caught the eyes of the Peter dude and his eyes instantly widened. I quickly whipped out my phone and began to record a video as he said something to the partner who I believed is his actual wife, and then his kids were ushered up and he began to partially drag his kids out the cafe while they complained loudly and tried returning back to their table for their desserts.

"I have to go confront him," Rory suddenly said and he flew right after them. Jason cursed and grunted as we all filed out as well.

Rory was speaking to Peter and his partner who appeared very confused. Peter shoved Rory just as Jason and I got outside and Jason was grasping Peter’s shirt and punching him hard in the face.

"Peter has a new wife? A new marriage? His name isn’t even Peter, you’re mistaken!" The woman cried out as Jason continued to pinch the guy.

"Your husband really did marry a wife about a week ago. Look up this username online." Rory said to the wife before ratting off a username. After about two minutes, the woman was gasping and literally losing consciousness from shock.

Everything ended up being a mess. Jason finally left Peter who tried waking up his wife, and I went back to the car to check up on the kids. Jason called the police, while Rory went off to give Raya a call. I remained in the car with the kids for a few minutes before returning back to the scene of the ruckus. Peter’s wife has finally regained consciousness and she was a sobbing mess. Peter was silent and nursing a broken nose. Jason was speaking to the owner of the cafe who was about to call the cops.

I got to him and nudged his shoulder.

"So, where’s Rory?" I asked and he looked around.

"He wanted to call his dumb friend, didn’t he come to you after that?"

I shook my head slowly and after a few seconds, Jason’s eye’s widened.

We scattered after that and began to search for Rory, but couldn’t find him anywhere.
