A little over six months since Rory disappeared, and I’ve not been as hale as I once used to be. The sound of my phone ringing was what pulled me out of my thoughts and I grimaced on seeing it was my grandmother.

The last time I spoke to her was two months ago, and I couldn’t see there had been any difference in my life since then, except for the fact that my life had actually gotten a tad bit worse.

"Hi honey." Her beautiful voice reminded me so much of my mother and pain instantly ate up at my insides. I pulled on the back of my hair as I struggled to get myself together

"I dreamt of you and I wanted to hear your voice, to confirm if you’re okay." She began and I almost rolled my eyes, already knowing what was coming next.

"Why don’t you come over? You don’t even have to spend hair a day, just a few hours." She whined and I let out a harsh sigh.

"I’m in a meeting, grandma." I lied through my teeth but it was pointless since she didn’t even buy it.

"Is it till I end up dying? If you don’t show up, I won’t write you into my will." She informed me and I’d have laughed if I was the carefree man I once was.

"Grandma, I send you millions every month." I tell her carefully to avoid being unnecessarily rude by reminding her that I had ten times her entire net worth.

"I don’t care about money; it’s you I care about!" She argued and I sighed before hanging up. When she called again, I refused to answer the call as I exited my car, making my way into my palace. Everyone instantly stepped out of the way and my butler was instantly beside me, a panicked expression on his face.

"Sir, we have a problem." He started carefully and I frowned at him.

"What’s that?" I asked as I resumed walking, leaving him to trail after me.

"It’s your fiancee, she’s here..." he was still speaking when I sharply whirled around With a thunderous expression on my face that instantly made him stagger.

"Why is she here? Who the hell let her in?" I demanded angrily and my butler stumbled over his next words, appearing extremely panicked. I had given them strict orders to not let Ella in here if I wasn’t present.

In the last two months, she had begun to pester me too much and with my patience being non-existent, there was only so much irritating whining I could endure.

I didn’t wait to listen to my butler anymore. I headed straight for my wing, knowing she’d be in there.

I’d deal with my useless butler later.

Her scent was clinging to the air when I stepped into the living room of my wing and a wave of headache and nausea hit me at once.

Moments later, she emerged from my bedroom in a fucking lingerie.

After I abruptly called off our wedding, I didn’t even end up sending her a fucking flower in apology or going to her to explain things in person. She was the one who ended up coming back to me, like she had zero class or self worth.

I massaged my forehead, leaning against the nearest wall as irritation slowly germinated inside of me as she sauntered towards me.

"What do you think you’re doing?" I asked as she turned around and gave me a slow whine. That was supposed to be arousing to me, I was supposed to have start growing hard right now. But all I could feel was immense irritation and anger.

"Seducing you, duh! I figured there has been a gap between us which I don’t like. As people in love, we’re supposed to hang out every day, no? But we haven’t even fucked in at least six months!" She pointed out and I wanted to correct her that it was seven months and not six.

"Stop being delusional, Ella. We are not in love." I snapped out before I could stop myself. She instantly pouted and the sight angered me some more.

She inched closer to me and I growled before she could touch me, making her stiffen and gape at me because even with the enigma part of my wolf gone, I still had a commanding aura.

"You don’t want to fuck me?" She asked and I shook my head firmly.

"Get dressed and leave. I have a headache." I tell her as I walked past her, heading for my bedroom. I instantly opened the windows to get her scent out. I was loosening my tie when she sauntered into my bedroom naked and flopped over my bed.

"Come fuck me, daddy. I know you want to." She purred, holding her legs open.

Too impatient to exchange words with her, I picked her off the bed and kept walking till I was at the entrance of my wing, and I threw her scattered clothes and underwear at her.

"Get dressed and leave." I ordered firmly, ignoring her whines and calls of my name as I stepped into my bedroom and shut the door this time.

I stripped the bed before I could manage to sit down, and then I exhaled slowly, feeling beyond exhausted.

For the past months, the emotion I feel the most is exhaustion and frustration. On a normal day, a good fuck would have easily taken care of that. I sometimes feel anger and hatred towards the omega. If I had left him to his fate that day, none of this would be happening to me. I’d be free to fuck anyone I wanted, and I’d still be an engine wolf.

The thought that he might be somewhere living comfortably while I suffer tremendously everyday sent a sharper wave of anger within my insides. I wanted him to be as miserable as I am, since I wasn’t happy, he doesn’t deserve happiness either since this was all his fault.
