"I’m so fucking proud of you." Kenny whispered, voice filled with so much emotions and I beamed, my insides feeling very queasy. Despite the fact that I could taste blood in every bit of my mouth and it was all over my neck and chest, Kenny still leaned over and pressed a kiss against my forehead.

"I was so worried about you. I was scared something had happened to you and I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to protect you." He continued just as I got injected with something and I shook my head frantically at him.

"It’s not your fault and now I’m just grateful he has been arrested." I sighed out and Kenny chuckled slowly.

"It’s hilarious that he kidnapped you and he also led the police straight to himself after he called the ambulance. Didn’t he think that though?" Kenny asked as he crouched before me and I huffed with a small shrug, feeling beyond relief that I was safe now.

"Where’s Anna?" I asked and Kenny told ms she was at his mother’s place.

"Tonight, you’re nothing but a hero." He said to me after a while and I couldn’t stop myself from smiling at him in response.

The news of what happened between Trevor and I after he kidnapped me spread like wildfire but I was receiving praises from the public in the twinkle of an eye. Of course, there were some alphas who rallied against me because they believed what I did to Trevor was unfair. Kenny wasn’t even surprised and he reminded me of the reason why he never judges women who bash alphas because he knew now how horrible they could be.

Trevor ended up losing his dick, but he ended up surviving, which I was grateful for. Not because I was scared but because I wanted him to get justice and suffer like he’s supposed to, I also didn’t want him to die like that because it would have been an easy death.

At the hospital I was taken to that night, it was confirmed that my baby was unharmed and growing just fine. I was also told that I was one month away from welcoming my baby and everyday, I find myself looking forward to that day.

Kenny was currently kissing my bare stomach and I felt like the most fragile egg to ever exist. He was speaking to my belly along with Anna, and I was so happy right now that I could never want for anything more.

"Can we name the baby ’Anna?" Anna asked as she peered at me and Kenny snorted out a laugh.

"If it’s a girl, I just might." I told her while stroking her hair and she grinned happily. She didn’t know this but Anna was my sister’s name. It was a name I once used to love, but I hated it after my sister betrayed me. Although With this cute Anna in my life right now, I was starting to love the name again.

I was yet to know the gender of my child and that’s because I wanted it to be a surprise to me on the day it would be born.

Trevor ended up getting sentenced to live imprisonment. After his case went viral. A bunch of other people that he had assaulted sexually and raped in the past, whom he had threatened to take the secret to their grave or get killed, all got the confidence to also come out to testify against him. With the combined accusations paired with glaring proof, he ended up getting that kind of sentence which pleased me tremendously. At least now we never had to bother about him coming into my life for revenge ever again.

Raya sobbed quietly in my arms that evening and I consoled her wordlessly while massaging her shoulders. She wasn’t crying because she missed her husband and wanted to be with him, she was crying because she feels disgusted that she married and fathered a child for a rapist, for a man that disgusting and sick.

I urged her to stop blaming herself since we all knew she was clueless this whole time. Since she was still married to him in name, she still had access to his money and she planned to use it to help out the family of her husband’s victims. I felt pity for her because I knew it was gonna be hard for her to move on from all this, especially seeing as this stain was gonna follow her and her innocent child for years, or forever even.

As I saw her off that evening, I decided to go for a little shopping. I wanted to get some gifts for Kenny and Anna. They made me so happy and I always feel like gifting them something every time, simply because gifting was an act of love for me.

At the store, a few people recognized me as the hero from the kidnap case. I didn’t mind the attention like I’d have done in the past, but I do hope a little that the hype would die down soon because I didn’t want to solely be known because of that incident. I wanted to be known for my business, for example. All of my businesses were successful so far and I’m already considering expanding them even more.

I ended up getting a bunch of gifts for Kenny and Anna and once I was done, I got some things for myself as well. I also decided to get something for grandma Nini as well because I knew she’d appreciate it so much.

After fully shopping, I made my way back to the car and was about to drive out of the premises when I got a call from one of my managers; whom I asked to give me a call later tonight. Running a business wasn’t easy not to talk of five in total, but I was tugging through no matter what.

As I drove out of the premises, a sharp pain made me instantly tense up, and after it happened the next two seconds, I realized what was happening.
