It happened so fast.

When I first came to, I had been in the back of a moving vehicle and my hands had been tied up, with my mouth blindfolded. By the time I ended up waking up again after passing out again, water was being dunked over my head and I was gasping as I regained consciousness.

The first thing I registered was that I was in a bright room, a very bright room that was blinding my eyes. The second thing I noticed was that I wasn’t alone. My eyes widened when they landed the only man who had wanted me dead in my entire life.

My heart instantly flew into my throat and I wheezed while water dropped into my eyes. I attempted inching backwards when he slowly inched forward but that was before I realized that I was tied up against a pillar which prevented that from happening.

He reached up and gripped my chin tightly, his eyes dragging over every inch of my face right before a grin stretched out across his face.

"Hello my little betrothed bride." He crooned and I almost crumbled into tears right now. My knees shook as I stared up at him. I could feel fear biting through every inch of my insides and my heart was racing super fast. I couldn’t believe he had succeeded in getting his hands on me again. It happened so unexpectedly. Whenever I am alone, I always get accompanied by guards. But whenever Jason and Kenny were present, I didn’t bother with the bodyguards. It was very obvious that it was my fault. If I hadn’t gone off to somewhere quiet because I wanted to speak to Raya in private then none of this would have happened. This was because I didn’t listen to Kenny, and Jason. They weren’t in support of me confronting Peter or trying to help Raya, and at the end of everything, Raya hasn’t even sounded like she believed me so everything was pointless at the end of the day. Now I was back in the hands of this monster who definitely won’t let me go this time.

So does this mean this is now my life? Thinking about that alone was enough to make my head start to pound even more as the fear within me increased in folds.

"Please let me go." I finally whispered, voice small and scared and Alex stared at me for a moment longer before dissolving into laughter. He threw his head back and laughed but in the next moment, his laughter was drying up and he was appearing very furious as he leaned even closer to my face, a scowl across his face.

"Did you know how long I searched for you? For years, I dedicated my time into searching for you till I did. And now that I’ve finally caught you again, do you really believe that I’ll ever let you go?" He questioned, voice low and angry. I swallowed emptily and remained silent, but after his fingers tangled in my hair and roughly wrenched tightly on it, tears sprang into my ears as I cried out painfully.

"I asked a question." He growled lowly. He was very furious and feared that he might kill me right now from how anger he was right now.

"I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry." I cried out and this time, he dissolved into laughter again.

"You rightfully belong to me, Rory. You were betrothed to me, remember? You’re rightfully mine. But you fled from me. You fled and made me search for you for years. You think you aren’t gonna pay for that, is that what you believe? Huh?" I demanded and I sobbed as his hand connected with my cheek hard.

Oh fuck.

I’m so fucked!

"I’m so sorry! So sorry!" I cried out again because I didn’t know what else to say except to apologize and apologize. That wasn’t enough for him because he slapped me hard again and wrenched on my hair till I felt some of my hair get ripped up, while pain shot through every inch of my scalp at once.

My face was wet with tears and Alex grinned as he stared at me before he leaned down and dragged his tongue over the tear tracks across my face. Bile instantly rose in my throat and I tried turning my head away but he held my head in place and dragged his tongue over my lips as well. When he shoved his tongue into my mouth, the vomit came up and I puked all over him.

"I’m so sorry!" I hurriedly tried apologizing because I didn’t do that on purpose but he went ahead to deliver punches right into my stomach till I passed out.

By the time I woke up this time, I was still tied up and he woke me up by dunking water over me once again.

"What do you plan to do with me?" I managed to ask and that earned me a hard slap. At this point, my cheeks felt raw from the amount of times I’ve been slapped. I was so worried about myself, because I knew how mad Alex was. At the same time, I was worried about Niko and Anna. I didn’t want to bring them up but I badly want to do if I was the only one who got kidnapped yesterday? Today? I wasn’t even sure of when the exact day was and how long has passed since the kidnap.

Alex began to explain the reason he kidnap, and everything he said was the exact same thing Anna explained to us when we caught her.

Indeed my blood was special, and he said that was the only reason I could get pregnant.

And now he wants to drain my blood and use my blood to become the most powerful person on earth.
