"What the fuck is wrong with you, omega?"

Before I could even turn, she yanked my hand. The sudden force dragged me through the hall faster than I could react. My feet skidded across the tiles, and we slammed into an empty classroom.

She shoved me against the wall. Her hands spread over mine, pressing me flat so I couldn’t move.

Her face hovered inches from mine. I could feel the heat of her breath, sharp, fast, and overwhelming. My chest tightened. My pulse picked up, and a familiar heat started crawling up my spine.

"What are you fucking doing?"

"I know what you did, and I am fucking pissed. Why would you do that?"

She snarled, her teeth just barely hidden. The scent of her, metallic, raw, intoxicating, filled my senses and made it hard to think.

I folded my arms, pressing my nails into my skin without realizing. My chest was tight, my heat rising, a pulse of fire crawling through me. I had to stay calm. I had to.

"What are you talking about?"

I tried to sound casual, neutral. I needed to know if we were on the same page. Did she know about last night? Or is it.. About the transfer?

"Your impulsive behavior. I do whatever you tell me to do. I fuck you whenever you tell me to, in my fucking club, in the mall, in the school toilet. Even right now, if you tell me to, I would. It’s the same thing with the class change. I did it. After all the arrangements, all the time I spent just for you, and now you fucking change your class. Again!"

Her voice was a whip, sharp and burning in my face.

"Look, I appreciate it, but I want a normal life. I am not carrying a god or something that you have to do all this for. I don’t need your VIP shit. I’m fine without you."

I wasn’t sure what I was saying. My words felt small, weak against the storm that was her. I just needed her to step back. Her scent pressed into me, heavy, suffocating.

"Omega, what is wrong... why are you acting like this?" Her voice softened, but the tension in her shoulders said she wasn’t letting go of her anger entirely.

"Like what?"

"I’m acting normal. This is how I act."

"You are sweating under the AC. Is something wrong with you?" She reached toward my forehead.

I tried to tilt my head away, but her other hand cupped my jaw. Her fingers were firm, insisting, and I had no choice but to meet her gaze.

"Why did you change your class?"

Her voice had an edge I couldn’t lie past.

"I don’t like being with someone who is fucking someone else other than me." The words slipped out before I could stop them.

She smiled. Wide, sharp. Her hand slid from my forehead to my cheek, warm, insistent, almost teasing.

"You saw me and her, didn’t you? She is my girlfriend. We’ve been together since we were kids. I promised her I would marry her after high school."

"And you wanted to marry me a few days ago."

"Well, if you had agreed, that promise would have been broken. But I’m doing this for my pups."

"So you want to two-time?"

"No fucking way. I don’t date two people at the same time. She is my girlfriend, and you are carrying my pups. I’m taking responsibility for what happened that night. We agreed on co-parenting... and we are not in love."

That was true. We were not in love.

But why did my chest still tighten when she was near? Why did my mind betray me with stupid, longing thoughts every time she looked at me?

"Look, I want to take care of my pups. Whatever you need, I’ll do it, just so you can have an easy birth. My relationship with Kiara won’t change because of you. I’ll always be there for them."

"What did Kiara say about this?" I forced my eyes away from her lips, from the way they curved when she smiled, from the heat radiating off her.

Blood dripped from my hand, warm and sticky, a reminder of how raw everything between us was, how exposed I felt in her presence.

"She was mad at first, but last night she came back to her senses. She said she will support me in everything I do. She loves me enough to support me."

Fuck you. Fuck your sense of honor and stupid loyalty.

I thought your brother said you were smart. He lied. You can’t even see your girlfriend and your best friend toying with you.

"Can you leave? I need to breathe." My voice came out slow, strained. My words trembled slightly, betraying the anger and heat I was trying to hide.

"Do you want me to cool your heat down?"

"No. I’m fine. I don’t want to have sex with you anymore."

"So how will you cool down?" she pressed, leaning closer, letting her scent wash over me in waves.

"I’ll take a shower. If that doesn’t work, I’ll fucking masturbate and cool myself."

She smirked.

"Really?"

"Yes. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll find someone to have sex with, but not you."

The silence stretched, heavy and tense, filled with the unspoken understanding between us.

Then her lips brushed my ear, her breath hot, rough, deliberate.

"As long as you have my pups inside you, no one will fuck you. Even if they do, it won’t be the same. You’ll fucking crave me. Only me."

"If you are fucking done, leave."

She pulled back, smirk sharp, satisfied, and strode out of the classroom. I pressed back against the wall, heart hammering, nails digging into my arms, and the lingering scent of her swirling in the air like a storm that wouldn’t leave.

I stayed there for a long moment, chest heaving, trying to calm the fire crawling through me, the heat that didn’t want to fade. I could still feel her hands on me, still hear the sharp edge of her voice. And somehow, even after she was gone, the tension she left behind pressed against my skin, heavy and impossible to shake.

The classroom was empty. The tiles cold under my feet. The windows showed the dull gray of the afternoon sky, but none of it mattered. The only thing I could feel, the only thing that mattered, was the space she had left behind, warm and heavy, and the way I was aching to forget her yet knowing I wouldn’t.
