Beam’s eyes widened in shock as she lifted her head and saw the biker girl standing there... holding Princess’s heart. The bloody organ pulsed one last time in the biker’s grip, a sickening sight that made Beam’s chest tighten with absolute horror.

The biker tossed the heart aside and dragged Beam by the leg. The dead organ hit the concrete with a soft, wet thud, completely forgotten as the biker locked her attention back on her target. Kiara just stood there, staring as the biker slammed Beam around. No matter how hard Beam tried to fight back, the rider was twice as strong. Beam’s fingers scraped uselessly against the rough asphalt, leaving bloody streaks behind as she was pulled across the track like a ragdoll. Each strike from the biker sent a fresh wave of agony ripping through Beam’s already damaged chest, making her gasp wildly for air that wouldn’t come.

Beam dropped to her knees as the biker gripped her hair tightly. Her head was wrenched backward with a brutal snap, forcing her to look up into the biker’s cold eyes. She could feel her vision blurring at the edges, her strength entirely drained as the agonizing pressure on her scalp threatened to rip her hair right from the roots.

Kiara, seeing Princess lying unconscious and none of the staff willing to do anything, scanned around and spotted a broken glass bottle. The shards caught the harsh light of the streetlamps, jagged and sharp. Her heart pounded a frantic rhythm against her ribs, her mind racing through every possible option as she realized no one else was going to step in to save them. She already knew what kind was that biker and what they feared most.

"If you rip hers out, I’m going to cut myself..." she said, her voice shaky and filled with fear. She held the broken neck of the bottle tight, her fingers trembling so hard the glass clicked against her rings, but she forced her stance to stay firm.

The rider looked at her, clearly not caring at first. The biker didn’t even shift her weight, her hand remaining buried in Beam’s hair, treating Kiara’s threat like a minor annoyance.

"I’m a Petrova, and judging by your kind, you know what happens when we bleed..." Kiara said, staring directly at the biker, who now seemed interested after hearing the word Petrova. The rider’s head tilted slightly, a sudden, heavy stillness settling over her posture as the weight of that family name registered. "Leave before I do the unthinkable and you meet your doom." Kiara pressed the sharp edge of the glass closer to her own skin, her jaw clenched as she gambled everything on a single threat.

Hoping she leaves, because just a single cut could turn everything bloody.

The biker immediately let go of Beam. Beam’s body collapsed to the ground, barely conscious. She hit the floor limply, her forehead resting against the cold pavement as she let out a ragged, wheezing breath, completely unable to lift her own limbs.

"No, you are the one who’s going meet your doom..." the biker said. Her voice was a low, grating sound that seemed to vibrate from deep within her chest, carrying a chilling promise of future violence.

She walked over, picked up her helmet, still bloody, with chunks from the dead worker stuck to it,brushed it off, put it on, and lifted her motorcycle. The heavy machine rolled back onto its tires with a dull scrape. Before driving away, she gave Beam one last look. The dark visor stared down at Beam’s broken form for a lingering, heavy second, marking her before the engine roared to life with a deafening blast.

The moment Kiara saw the biker disappear into the dark night, the loud exhaust fading into the distance, she finally let herself breathe. The tight knot in her chest unraveled just enough for her to draw a shaky breath. She tossed the glass aside, the shard clattering loudly against the ground, her eyes darting toward her two best friends lying on the ground. She quickly rushed over to Beam and helped her sit up, grabbing her under the arms to support her weight.

"P-Princess... she’s..." Beam muttered, her eyes full of terror as she stared at Princess lying motionless a few feet away. Her voice cracked, tears of pure panic finally blurring her vision as she looked at the empty space in her friend’s chest.

"Don’t worry. Her heart is going to regenerate soon. If that girl had ripped yours out... you wouldn’t..." Kiara said, her own voice tight with a mixture of relief and lingering adrenaline. She wiped a smudge of dirt from Beam’s face, trying to keep her focused. "We need to leave this place. She’s going to be unbearable when she wakes up."

Kiara could barely help Beam to her feet. Beam’s weight dragged heavily against her side, her heels stumbling over the debris. She instructed one of the staff members to carry Princess while they heard the elevator arriving. The distant chime of the lift echoed through the empty arena, cutting through the heavy silence. Malo, who had been hiding the entire time, immediately ran toward them. His face was completely pale, his hands shaking violently as he scrambled out from behind his barricade. He clearly did not want to be left alone in that underground cave. He kept looking over his shoulder, terrified that the biker girl might suddenly reappear from the shadows.

When they reached the bar, Kiara lowered Beam onto one of the couches while the staff laid Princess on another. The plush cushions instantly stained with dark red, but nobody cared about the furniture right now. Beam sank into the fabric, her chest heaving as she clutched her side, trying to stop the throbbing pain.

Kiara instructed the worker to contact the GPS, report the incident, and check on the bouncers. The worker nodded before hurrying back toward the elevator, his footsteps echoing rapidly down the hall as he rushed to get help.

Kiara turned her attention to Princess. She focused her hearing, leaning down slightly over the couch, trying to catch a heartbeat. She tuned out Malo’s heavy breathing and the hum of the bar’s neon lights. After a few seconds, she finally heard one weak beat. A faint, hollow thud echoed inside Princess’s chest, followed by the terrifying sound of shifting flesh as her body began to rebuild itself. Princess was going to wake up soon.

"MG, wake Richard up and get one of those inhalers..." she ordered, spinning around to face Malo with a hard, commanding glare.

Malo stumbled away toward Richard’s room, his feet slipping slightly on the polished floorboards in his rush to obey.

A few minutes later, he returned with Richard and two inhalers in hand. Richard was adjusting his shirt, his face etched with sudden seriousness as he took in the chaotic state of the room.

"What happened to her?" Richard asked the moment he saw Princess unconscious on the couch. He moved quickly, his boots thudding against the floor as he approached the makeshift medical setup.

"We were attacked, and her heart was ripped out..." Kiara said, her tone blunt and stripped of any unnecessary details. "There’s no time to explain. She’s about to wake up."

The moment Richard understood the situation, he grabbed one of the inhalers from Malo and knelt beside Princess, waiting for the slightest movement. His hands were steady, his gaze locked onto her face, tracking the sudden twitch of her eyelids as her breathing started to turn ragged.

"I need one of you lads to pin her down while I pump the gas into her system," Mr. Richard said, looking between Malo and Kiara. His voice was firm, leaving no room for argument as the tension in the room spiked again.

Kiara immediately stepped back, raising her hands in refusal. "I can’t..." she muttered, her eyes wide as she looked away from the twitching form on the couch.

Richard’s eyes shifted toward Malo, his brow furrowing as he waited for the boy to move.

"I’ll do it..." Beam muttered, trying to stand despite her severe injuries. She pushed her palms against the cushions, her muscles trembling violently as she tried to force her broken body to move.

"Look at you. You’re one step away from becoming a corpse. Sit your ass down," Kiara snapped, glaring at her and pushing her back onto the couch with a firm hand to keep her from tearing her own wounds open further.

"Alright then. Vice versa. I’ll hold her down while MG pumps the gas," Mr. Richard decided, shifting his weight to get a better leverage over Princess’s shoulders.

Malo looked reluctant, his jaw dropping in protest, but with Beam unable to move and Kiara refusing to help, he had no choice. The realization sank in, making his shoulders slump in pure defeat.

He took a deep breath and removed the cap from the inhaler. His fingers slipped against the plastic, but he gripped it tighter, stepping up to stand near the armrest where Princess’s head rested. His knees shook as he looked down at her.

They waited. The silence in the bar was thick, everyone holding their breath as the seconds ticked by.

The moment Princess twitched, her back arching off the couch in a sudden, violent spasm, Mr. Richard immediately pinned her down, stopping her from moving. He threw his entire upper body weight over her chest, his muscles straining against the sudden, unnatural strength flooding back into her system.

"What are you waiting for?" he barked at Malo, who had frozen in panic at the sudden explosion of movement.

Malo snapped back to reality, his eyes widening as he quickly shook the inhaler. The canister rattled loudly in the quiet room. The second Mr. Richard forced Princess’s mouth open, Malo shoved it in and started pumping, forcing the gas into her system to calm her down. He mashed the button rapidly, his heart hammering in his throat.

Princess struggled violently. Her claws dug into Mr. Richard’s skin, tearing through flesh with a sickening rip, but no matter how painful it was, he refused to let go. He let out a low grunt of pain, his face contorting as blood began to soak through his sleeves. If he released her now, Princess could unknowingly kill everyone in the room in her blind, animalistic rage.

Her eyes glowed a terrifying dark blue throughout the process, the intense light cutting through the dimness of the bar as she thrashed against her restraints, her heels kicking wildly against the end of the couch.

"Is she down yet?" Malo cried out, his body trembling as he continued pumping the inhaler. Tears of pure stress pricked the corners of his eyes, his arms aching from the effort of staying close to her snapping jaws.

"Almost. You’re doing great," Mr. Richard said through gritted teeth, his grip tightening as he felt her muscles begin to fight back with slightly less force.

"I hope my salary increases after this because this is a life-and-death situation, and I don’t even have life insurance!" Malo blurted out, his voice cracking under the sheer pressure of the moment.

Slowly, Princess’s glowing blue eyes faded, the terrifying light dimming back to normal, and her muscles relaxed, her body sinking back into the bloody cushions.

The entire room let out a breath of relief. The heavy, suffocating tension finally broke, leaving everyone drained and shaking.

This was the third time it had happened to Princess.
