Faye’s moods became confusing for Princess to handle, one time she wants to be close to Princess and another she wants Princess to be far away... The sudden shifts were hitting like a rollercoaster, leaving the Alpha completely off balance and trying to keep up with the constant changes.

Throughout the Sunday, Faye made Princess cuddle her in bed, bathe together, not leaving her for a second, even when Princess ordered food that Faye requested, Faye was still clinging on to Princess, using Princess like some blanket, wrapping around her body... Her fingers were constantly knotted into Princess’s shirt, pulling her close, burying her nose into the crook of her neck to inhale her heavy scent. Every time Princess even shifted a few inches to get more comfortable, Faye would let out a small, needy whine and pull her right back against her skin.

Even when Kiara and Beam came to visit Princess because they had a meeting to discuss after learning about Princess quitting, right in the bar, in front of Princess’s friends, Faye was still with Princess. She was basically glued to her side on the leather booth, her head resting heavily on Princess’s shoulder while the others talked about business.

While they were discussing what their next move was, Kiara was busy teasing Faye about her clingy behavior... Kiara smirked, swirling the liquor in her glass and leaning back with a chuckle, throwing comments about how the tough wolf had turned into a literal puppy. Faye just gave her a middle finger while still being quiet, that finger was enough to keep Kiara shut.. She didn’t even lift her head, just raised her hand up to flash the bird, making Kiara break out into a loud laugh before finally letting the matter drop.

Later in the night, Faye’s mood became the opposite, stopped being clingy and called out the sleeping Princess who responded.

"Your pheromones are intoxicating..." Faye said. Her voice was suddenly sharp, breaking through the quiet room as she shifted restlessly against the mattress.

"Okay.." Princess replied with a sleepy voice. She shifted, her eyelids heavy as she tried to pull Faye back into her chest by instinct.

"It’s suffocating, I need to breathe.." Faye said. She shoved Princess’s arm away, her hands pushing hard against the Alpha’s shoulder to create distance between them.

Princess turned to see Faye at the edge of the bed, instead of being close to her... The sheets were completely tangled around Faye’s legs, her back turned to Princess as she hugged the very edge of the mattress. "I thought you said you loved my pheromones, you bragged about wanting to enter my body the whole day.." Princess muttered, rubbing her face as she tried to clear the sleep from her brain.

"I did, but I changed my mind.. I need to sleep and you are not letting me..." Faye snapped, her shoulders tensing up as she stared into the dark corner of the room.

"Are you implying that I should leave the room? This is my room..." Princess said, sitting up slightly, her brow furrowing with pure confusion.

"I can leave the room if you want....." Faye said, attempting to get up. She gripped the edge of the bed, her heavy frame shifting as she prepared to swing her legs over the side.

"Don’t worry, don’t stress yourself.. you can have the bed, it’s all yours..." Princess said, getting up from the bed, picking up the pillow and walking to the door leading to the balcony.. She sighed, grabbing her pillow tight against her chest as she walked away from the mattress, her bare feet padding softly across the floor.

"It’s cold outside, you can’t handle the cold.. find somewhere else.." Faye said. She didn’t even look back, her voice muffled against her own pillow as she tucked herself in deeper.

Princess, holding the pillow, stood there for seconds watching Faye whose eyes were shut, trying to wonder what her problem was...

Faye had been sticking around her body all day like some glue, sniffing her the entire day, she was in love with her pheromones and now she can’t bear her scent... It made absolutely no sense. Princess let out a slow, tired breath, her fingers tightening around the fabric of the pillow.

Princess wondered if that was a normal thing because Faye was pregnant..

It better be because no one kicks the Alpha Princess out of her own bedroom... The thought made her jaw tighten a bit, but she forced herself to relax, knowing the pups were the ones driving the hormones completely crazy.

Princess found herself sleeping inside the pups’ nursery room, she had her bean bag enough to sleep and wrapped herself with a blanket.. she stared at the cozy star and crescent ceiling before sleep took her.. The small yellow lights from the ceiling design cast a faint glow over the empty cribs and the soft rugs, making the small space feel quiet and secure as she closed her eyes.

It wasn’t up to 1 hour when Princess felt another weight around her body... without opening her eyes she already knew who it was. The soft, familiar scent of cotton candy and rain drifted over her face, followed by a warm body pressing right into her back on the bean bag.

The same pregnant girl who kicked her out of her own room because her pheromones were suffocating her and now she is wrapped around her... needing the same pheromones.. Faye nuzzled her face directly into Princess’s spine, her arms wrapping tightly around Princess’s waist as she let out a long, happy sigh.

"Seriously..." Princess muttered in a low tone, she opened her eyes to see Faye sound asleep, Princess smiled looking at her cute face then dozed off... The soft rising and falling of Faye’s chest against her back was comforting, the rhythmic breathing finally letting the Alpha sink into a deep, peaceful slumber.

Princess woke up to Faye poking her on the nose... she opened her eyes to see Faye wide awake smiling.. A single finger was jabbing right at the tip of her nose, Faye’s bright eyes looking down at her with absolutely no sign of the frustration from last night.

"Good morning Pancake.." Faye said.

"Good morning Candy.." Princess said, turning to the other side trying to sleep.. She pulled the blanket up over her ears, trying to find some sleep.

"It’s morning..." Faye said. She yanked the edge of the blanket down, her smile widening as she leaned closer to Princess’s face. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"I know but I need more sleep, you should sleep too.." Princess said, her voice dry and gravelly from the awkward sleeping position on the bean bag.

"But it’s Monday... we have to go to school.." Faye said.

Princess realized that it was also Monday and it also the day the school president will be announced.. after having a sleepless night thanks to her girlfriend... she had no choice but to wake up. She dragged herself out of the bean bag with a loud groan, stretching her back until her bones popped.

Both of them bathed together, dressed for school, after breakfast Princess drove Faye to school. The car ride was quick, the morning traffic humming around them as Princess kept one hand on the steering wheel and the other resting on Faye’s knee.

As expected, Beam was crowned the new school President and Haley became the vice.. The auditorium was packed with students clapping as the principal announced the results on the stage, the big banners hanging from the ceiling while Beam stood at the podium with a calm smile.
