"Fucking hell, how did you get these?" I asked, my eyes popping as I looked into the mini cooler. There were so many popsicles packed in there, nestled in ice, more than I could count at a glance.

We were both inside her car, the space feeling small and private. I was already working on a mango one, the cold sweetness cutting through the humid air.

"I didn’t know which one you like, so I got different varieties," Princess said, watching me with a satisfied look. She started pointing them out one by one. "The fruity kinds, the creamy ones, vanilla... I think this one is spicy. I also bought them all in case you get mad or start crying. I get to take care of my mate friend just like how her brother takes care of her."

The moment those words left her mouth, I froze. My hand stopped halfway to my mouth, and I just paused to stare at her.

The fuck did she just say?

It wasn’t just a random comment. Obviously, my brother wouldn’t even talk to her. He barely looks at her without scowling. So there was only one person who would tell Princess that I have a thing for popsicles, because I definitely don’t remember telling her myself.

"Have you been talking to Kaye?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her.

"What? The little guy is interesting, just like my niece. We have our little circle," she teased, her voice light and full of mischief.

"Oh, I see. They are your friends now," I said. I took a big bite of the popsicle. I’ve never been much of a licker; I like to bite and chew the ice instead.

"Oh oh, you should be patient with the popsicle, you don’t want to get brain freeze," Princess warned, reaching out as if to slow me down.

"Don’t worry, I don’t get brain freeze," I brushed it off. And honestly, I don’t. My head never gets that sharp ache no matter how fast I eat cold stuff.

I shifted a bit, trying to find a more comfortable position against the leather seat. "So, how are you dealing with the club?" I asked, trying to start a real conversation.

"Tomorrow, MG and I are going undercover," she said, her expression turning a bit more serious. "Since it’s Friday, we’re going to Bulldogs Club to see what makes them special."

"Can I come?" The question was out of my mouth before I even thought about it. I didn’t want to be stuck at home in the night while they were out doing something interesting.

"Okay, but you stay beside me at all times. Don’t leave my side," she said, her lips curving into a smile that made my stomach flip.

"Yes, Alpha," I teased, giving her a mock-serious nod.

I couldn’t help but focus on the way her lips moved when she talked. There was a pull there, a physical tug that made me crave something much more than the mango popsicle I was holding. I watched as she went back to the game she was playing on her tablet, all her attention suddenly on the bright screen.

"Princess," I said in a low voice. I leaned over and dropped the rest of my popsicle into the cup holder, not caring about the sticky mess.

"Yes," she said, her eyes still glued to the screen, her thumbs moving fast.

"I’m hungry."

"Do you want me to order food? What do you want? Burger and fries, pizza, chicken and chips, sandwich...."

While she rattled off the list, I shifted closer, my shoulder brushing against hers. She slowly stopped speaking, her voice trailing off as she realized how close I was. She turned her head, staring at me, and then she slowly dropped her tablet onto her lap.

"What about Princess Kings?" I said softly. I kept my eyes locked on her lips, my heart starting to race.

"Whoa. Hungry, are you? Didn’t know I was on the menu," she breathed, her voice dropping an octave.

"You really are good at playing this game. Waiting for me to crave you."

"I did something new today. I sharpened my nails so I can mark my territory," Princess said. She reached out, trailing her fingers from my shoulder all the way down to my hand, the slight edge of her nails sending a shiver straight down my spine.

"I see. Pretty girl wants to be wild. Kiss me," I whispered, leaning in until I was speaking right against her lips.

"Why don’t you show me how hungry you are? Eat me the way you were eating the popsicle."

That was it.

The air in the car felt like it was on fire. We both gave in at the exact same time.

Our lips met, and I couldn’t even tell who moved first. It was like a magnet snapping into place. I wrapped my arms tightly around her neck, pulling her toward me, while she gripped my waist, her hands firm and steady. We kissed like we were fighting for control, a desperate, messy kind of hunger. I felt her tongue push into my mouth, and I pushed right back, trying to take the lead myself. She didn’t even flinch or pull away when I bit her tongue; she just groaned into my mouth and held me tighter.

We only pulled away when the air in our lungs ran out and we couldn’t breathe anymore.

Her cheeks lifted into a soft, dazed smile as we both sat there, panting and trying to catch our breath in the quiet car.

"You really are hungry," she said, her eyes dark.

"Fuck you," I muttered. I didn’t wait for her to respond before leaning in to kiss her again.

I felt her hands start to wander, slipping under the hem of my hoodie, searching for my boobs. I pulled back just enough to help her out. I didn’t want my hoodie getting ruined or stretched out, so I pulled it over my head and tossed it aside. Then, I reached back and removed my bra top too.

Her eyes widened, her breath catching as she stared at me in the dim light of the car.

"Wow. They’re getting bigger by the day. I’m not even sure it’s still coconut size. I might need a new fruit," she muttered. She reached out and cupped them in both her hands, her brow furrowing like she was actually trying to come up with a new name for them.

"Girl, just shut up and suck these boobs" I said. My voice was low, thick with frustration and the heat that was spreading through my entire body.
