Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.

I sat on Princess’s lap on the balcony. We were both wearing our couple robes, the soft koala ones she had bought after that whole mess with Kiara. The other day, when I saw Kiara parading around in that bunny robe, I told Princess to either trash it or burn it. I didn’t want anything that bitch had touched near us. So, Princess bought these instead, meant just for the both of us to wear when we were alone.

The morning air was cool, and I helped her light her cigarette. Earlier, Mr. Richard had rolled it for her in the kitchen; he had muttered under his breath that it was the last one and that his stash needed restocking soon.

"So you really stopped smoking for a bit, huh?" I teased, reaching up to play with her cheeks. They felt warm against my cold fingers.

"Well, I had your idol’s profile checked by Beam. She doesn’t smoke... and there are a lot of interesting things about her in that file," Princess said, her voice dropping into that serious tone she gets when she’s been doing research. "Her family was murdered when she was only five, then she got adopted by some were-witch. She lived in called Blackjack for years before she even became an MMA fighter."

So the free city is her hometown..

"I can’t believe you actually went that far just to dig up her habits. You really are the jealous type, aren’t you?" I muttered.

I didn’t even know if what Princess was saying was true or just some rumor she’d paid for. Yuki never talked about her past during her interviews or on social media. She was a closed book to the rest of the world.

"I am not jealous, Omega. I’m just trying to protect what is mine. I need to know who is around you," she insisted.

"You were trying to become her. You were copying her style."

"I’ll admit I was, because she is your type anymore. But that girl is mysterious. Something about her eyes and the way she watches you tells me she wants you, or she wants something from you, and I am going to get to the bottom of it eventually."

"She is not after me. She is not in love with me," I reminded her, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Love or not, I am not going to let my guard down for a second. You are my priority, Omega. You are carrying my legacy inside you, so I have to always watch out for any threats," Princess said, her grip on me tightening just a little. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

I rested my head on her chest, listening to the steady thud of her heart. I thought about Yuki and that old woman’s face in the woods when she had uttered that word, La Vengaza. It had sounded like a curse. But I know Yuki is a good person deep down. She is not someone who would ever want to harm me. Princess is just wrong on this one. She is just being overprotective and scared because she doesn’t want to lose me to Yuki.

We watched the sunrise together from the balcony. The sky turned from a bruised purple to a bright, bleeding orange. It was amazing. Eventually, the warmth and the long night caught up to us, and we fell asleep right there.

It was Friday morning when I finally woke up. We were supposed to be at school, but we both decided to skip. I was still way too tired from yesterday’s search for Uncle PP and that whole fight in the woods. My body felt heavy.

Princess was already up and in the kitchen. There was a small round table where I sat, resting my chin on my hand as I watched her move around the kitchen preparing breakfast. Mr. Richard was still in his room, probably catching up on sleep, so Princess had taken it upon herself to cook.

I don’t know what she was doing exactly, but I just sat there and stared at her beautiful face. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun, and she wore a ridiculous apron that read Mom-to-be in big, bold letters. When I first saw it earlier, I had laughed until my sides hurt. She told me the school lunch lady had given it to her as a present.

Princess made pancakes. I wasn’t sure what to say when she finally set the plate down in front of me... they were completely burnt, black around the edges and smoking slightly. I stared at the charred circles, then up at her face. Her expression was so bright and hopeful that I was actually scared. I felt like if I said what was really on my mind, she might slide right back into that numb, cold state she was yesterday.

I picked up the fork and knife, cut a small piece, and tasted it. Just like it looked burnt, it tasted absolutely burnt. It was dry and like chewing on charcoal. No matter how hard I tried to pretend for her sake, I don’t think my system was going to accept it. My stomach did a little flip of protest. I spat it out into a napkin.

"Wow, I can’t believe you don’t like it," she said, her shoulders sagging just a bit.

"I really appreciate your effort, Princess. I really tried to eat it, but the pancake, it tasted awful and bitter. It’s a no from me," I said.

I just can’t lie or pretend with her. Just when I thought she would feel bad or get angry, she actually smiled.

"Okay, I see. I will just try again until I get it right," she said. She picked up the plate and tossed the burnt pancakes into the trash can without another word.

"You are not angry?" I asked, surprised.

"No. I have been learning from the lunch lady how to cook certain things so I can cook for you. I want to see the same expression on your face that you give her when she makes you something good."

Damn it. Those kids, Dina and Kaye, had the audacity to inform Princess about how much I praise Yuki’s cooking whenever she makes us dinner. They were really working overtime to make her feel competitive.

"I will keep trying so I can cook for you and for our pups. I need your honesty to know when I’m actually improving. So don’t try to lie to spare my feelings, okay?" she said as she began remixing the ingredients in the bowl, her movements more careful this time.

I really like the effort she’s putting in. I like the fact that she wants my honesty, even if it hurts her pride a little bit. It made her feel more human.

Then a question popped into my mind. It was something I had been waiting for her to ask me for weeks, but she was too busy trying to get her empire back and wanting to be my type. I guess I was going to have to be the one to ask her.

"Princess," I said, my voice getting soft.

"Yes?" she asked, not looking up from the batter.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
