Faye POV

With the same smile I used to sleep was the same I used to wake up with. The memory of the kitty costume and the messy night we had, making my cheeks warm under the heavy covers.

The moment I opened my eyes, Princess’ hand was on my baby bump, romanticizing. Her fingers were spreading wide across the stretched skin, moving in slow, rhythmic circles that made the pups kick gently against her palm. Yes, we were both naked. After having a long night, none of us chose to put on our nightwear, just cover ourselves with thick blankets. She made a small spoon without turning or moving her body. Her chest was pressed flat against my back, her breathing steady and deep against my neck as she held me close.

I heard the sound of the phone clicking, meaning she was awake. Whenever Princess wakes up first and is busy cuddling with me, she patiently waits for me to wake up and finds something to keep her busy, either I find her reading a book or on her phone. And I happen to be the opposite, when I am awake I want her to be awake.. I shifted my weight, nudging my hip backward into her thighs to make her pay attention to me instead of the screen.

I like the idea of us waking up together...

"Good morning, Naughty Pancake..." I muttered, holding her hand on my tummy... my smile was still on. I squeezed her fingers tight against my belly, feeling the heavy warmth of her body wrapping all the way around me.

Princess dropped her phone, the device hitting the mattress with a soft thud, and kissed me on my neck... "Good morning, babygirl..." Her lips were warm and soft against my skin, her deep morning voice vibrating straight through my collarbone.

"Hmmm..." I reacted to her kiss, tilted my head back to give her more room, then searched for my phone around the bedside and I realized that we were 30 minutes away from getting late to school..

"Princess, we are late for school.." I said, wanting to stand up but Princess pulled me back.. Her arm tightened around my waist like a heavy iron bar, dragging my back right into her bare chest before I could even swing my legs out.

"No need for school, why don’t we just stay in bed and enjoy the moment... we can use the tablet..." She mumbled into my hair, her eyes half closed as she tried to pull the thick blanket back over my shoulders.

"I wish I could but unlike you my grades are not smiling and I am not allowed to miss a day due to not attending a whole term and I have to have a good reason for missing school.. it’s either I am in the hospital pushing the pups out or I am dead..." I said, removing Princess’ hand from my body and standing up... I forced myself out of her tight grip, the cool air of the bedroom hitting my bare skin instantly as I grabbed a robe from the hook.

"Is the Principal the one who actually said that.. she is lucky I am not the school president anymore.." Princess said with a face that showed regret, then she changed her expression. She sat up against the headboard, running a hand through her messy dark hair as she scoffed. "It’s a good thing she is retiring, a new Principal will be replacing her soon.."

"Do you have any idea who that will be?" I asked. Because I wasn’t complaining about the current one but... I leaned against the bathroom doorframe, tying the silk ribbon around my waist while looking back at her.

"I have no idea... the GPF and Adam acting as our grandfather’s advocate are the ones in charge of installing the school principal."

Hearing Adam’s name changed my mood instantly, that dude is my number one most wanted on my list, I just can’t wait to do what’s in my mind... I am going to make him feel 10x the pain... he made my girl feel pain,... My jaw clenched tight, thinking how to get my revenge...

"Faye, please stop.." Princess said, bringing me out of my thoughts.. Her voice was suddenly sharp, breaking through the quiet room.

"Stop what?" I snapped, blinking my eyes to clear the anger. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"Whatever it is that you are planning in there just stop... do not do anything.."

"What do you think I was thinking about?"

"The moment I mentioned Adam, your face changed into that hate kind of way... I know you are planning something. Faye, do not try to mess with Adam, Adam is not someone you can easily punch and if you do he will punch harder, so stop, I’m begging you..." Princess said, she was on her knees on the bed looking serious... She crawled across the sheets to the edge of the mattress, her fingers clutching the duvet as she stared up at me.

I just stared at her, and that face that had worry and fear... The Alpha Princess looked completely small, her eyes wide and begging as she tried to protect me from her own blood.

"Okay, I am not doing anything, but if he touches you again I won’t listen to you, Princess, I swear I won’t..." I said, walking into the bathroom and slamming the door... The panel shut with a loud bang that shook the frames. I don’t understand what kind of family does that...

Paye has never for once laid his hands on me, whenever he gets angry or emotional he walks out but hitting, never.. The pure disgust rolled through my stomach as I turned the shower handle, letting the hot water steam up the glass.

After bathing I came out of the bathroom, the once scattered room was now neatly arranged, Princess had already tidied the room. The clothes were gone, the bed was made, and the empty boxes of snacks from last night were nowhere to be seen.

And now our room has a pole in the middle, I almost bumped my head.. The metal bar caught the morning light, standing right in the path to the closet, making me swerve quickly to avoid a bruise on my forehead.

After having breakfast which Princess made, she prepared French toast with fresh OJ... Yes, Princess has improved with her cooking, she really put in her effort with the motivation of wanting to prepare breakfast for the pups... The bread was golden brown and perfectly sweet, the juice poured fresh into two tall glasses on the counter.

Malo stopped by, Princess said he will be driving me to school whenever she doesn’t and will act as my personal errand boy. Malo didn’t say anything, he just swung the car keys and was busy eating French toast... He leaned against the kitchen counter, stuffing a massive piece of syrup-covered bread into his mouth while nodding along to her instructions.

During the car ride I asked Malo what it was all about because I spotted Princess eyeing him and since we agreed on no more secrets he said Princess raised his pay, wanting him to report my movements and actions. And if anything goes wrong he should call her immediately. I asked why but Malo said he had no idea, Princess just gave him orders with no questions asked. He steering the wheel with one hand, tossing the last bit of crust into his mouth while the plastic wrapper of his morning donut crinkled on the dashboard.

Great, Princess is back to monitoring my every move. I rolled my eyes, leaning my head against the cool passenger window as the school gates came into view, the irritation building back up in my chest.
