"Hey, do you know where the Alpha Princess is... I mean, Princess, where is she?"

"You are in the same class and you don’t know where she is?"

I glared at Malo. If he knew how much I am boiling inside, he better not test me right now. My jaw felt tight. My fingers were already curling into my palm. My nails pressed into my skin. I could feel my pulse there, fast.

"If I had seen her, why would I be asking you? She wasn’t in class today and I haven’t seen her in this cafeteria. Like never. Except for the time she gave me a fucking detention."

"Well, it’s exam season, so everyone is busy studying. The Trios always have private classes during exam periods. And they also have a private cafeteria," Malo said as he ate. He did not even look bothered. Just chewing. Calm. Like this is a normal conversation. Like my life is not cracking open.

"Next level? What are you playing, a game or what? During this time, you won’t see Princess until the exams are over. That girl doesn’t play with her studies. Being number one is her first priority. Malo snapped his fingers and pointed. I turned to the back to see a CCTV camera. The red light blinked quietly. Watching. Always watching. I stared at it longer than necessary.

"She is always watching through the cameras, and she usually informs the disciplinary team when there is a fight, which hardly happens because the disciplinary team are fucking maniacs. Their leader is Beam. Nobody messes with that bitch..."

"Dude, I don’t give a fucking damn. If someone is being beaten up right now, will she be out of her fucking class?"

"I don’t know, man. But why the fuck do you need an audience with her? Do you want to punch her or does she owe you something?"

"She doesn’t owe me something. She fucking ruined my life. And to think of it, you are the one who is to blame. If you had never invited me to that fucking Lunny of a club, I wouldn’t be in the situation I am right now."

"What situation are you talking about? I don’t understand the shit you are saying."

I didn’t wait for him to rethink what I was saying. I grabbed his hair and slammed his head onto his plate hard. The tray clattered. Food splashed. A sharp gasp cut through the cafeteria. My hand tightened in his hair. He yelped. A fork hit the floor and skidded.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

"This is the only way to get an audience."

I dragged him off the table and threw him on the ground. The chair screeched as it fell. Everyone stood up. Some began to video. Some started making noise. The sound rose fast, like a wave. I stared at the CCTV, hoping that it was Princess who was watching. Hoping she saw me. Hoping she would come. My breathing was heavy now. In. Out. In. Out.

"You really think I will let you go this time? Yo, this is not nice. I may be an errand boy, but I am not a fucking punching bag..."

I quickly dashed at him and punched him. He was going to dodge, but I was faster. My fist connected with his jaw. The impact shot up my arm. He flew across the table. Plates shifted. Cups tipped. That was new. I normally punch people, but this was new. The pressure wasn’t much, but the force... it felt like something behind my skin pushed with me. Like my wolf leaned into it. I flexed my fingers once, feeling the faint tremor in them. My knuckles stung. I liked it.

Malo groaned. Two students rushed to help him to his feet. I watched them closely. Waiting. My shoulders were tight. My breathing was heavier now. I thought they were going to come at me, but then they went back to their seats. They did not want it. Nobody wanted it. They avoided my eyes.

Malo made a small head raise, and I turned around.

Some did come, but it wasn’t who I expected.

It was Beam.

Now we are in the principal’s office. The principal wasn’t there, but Beam was in charge. So after the fucking scene, no sign of Princess. I mean that bitch is always everywhere. I even saw her yesterday. Why is this happening to me? My leg would not stop bouncing. I tapped it against the floor. The room felt small.

"This is the third time you have violated the school policy. What is wrong with you, were you born with violence? This won’t be let off easily."

"Just give me the fucking detention. I have other things to do and the next class is in ten," I said out. My voice came out flat. I did not care how it sounded.

"Keep that fucking tone down. Do you know who you are talking to?" Beam said, slamming the table. The sound echoed.

"We are in the same class. I bet we are the same age. So what? Who the fuck are you?"

Her eyes narrowed. She leaned forward slightly.

"Run that fucking tongue again and you will be suspended."

"Just what I need," I muttered. My mouth moved before my brain caught up.

"You will get detention for the whole year and you get to clean the toilets..."

Well, I stopped listening. The only thing running through my head was that she definitely knows where Princess is. She is always around her. I stared at her face, searching for anything.

"Where is Princess?"

"You are in no position to ask me, so just sign here. This is an agreement stating that if you break any more rules within the school premises, you will be suspended for good."

"How about you answer my question and I am going to sign the paper and do my penance."

"How about you sign this paper now? I have important things to do."

"Where is Princess?"

"Why do you want to know about her? Do you want to punch her face again?"

"No."

Obviously that is the first thing I will do when I see her.

"Faye, sign this paper now."

"How about this. I sign this paper and I am not doing the fucking detention and the rest... then you tell me where Princess is. I need to talk to her....." I didn’t even allow her to utter her next words. "Or I upload a video of you and Kiara making out inside Alpha Leo’s mansion last Saturday."

"What are you fucking talking about?"

Now she is frozen. Good. Her fingers stopped moving. Her lips parted slightly.

Obviously I don’t have any fucking video, but one has to play dirty to get what they want. Looking at her face, she is believing it. Just one more push. I leaned in slightly.

"Hey, stop. What if Princess sees us?" I began to mimic a tone. "She won’t... I saw her car drive away. It’s just me and you alone in this mansion... Oh my... you taste fucking..."

"Enough! Sign here. No detention and no cleaning the toilets. I will get Princess. Stay here."

Thank goodness. I am finally going to see Princess.
