Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.

After meeting Henry, I went back to the living room. I rested on one of the cushions, staring at the chandelier and thinking of a way to use this to my advantage. I needed to be smart. I needed to move before they took any more of my blood.

Then Yuki came in. She looked happier than ever, walking through the door with a spring in her step. I didn’t know if it was fake or not. After all, all that generosity of hers back in Oakland was fake too. She was a professional at playing a part, and I had been the biggest fool for believing it.

I couldn’t care less about her mood. She was the least of my problems right now. My mind was focused on how to use Henry to get out of this nightmare. He was the only one who seemed to move freely outside in the woods, and he was innocent enough to trick. He was my ticket out.

"Hey, Faye, how are you doing today?" she said. She crouched near the cushion, humming a little tune like a bird. She dropped a takeaway bag on the table, and the smell of grease filled the room. "Today, no cooking. I bought you burgers and fries, with diet coke. It’s one of your favorites, right?"

"I’d rather eat one of Helen’s horrible green porridge than accept anything from you," I said, my voice flat. Helen had been cooking these strange, thick meals filled with iron and herbs just to help me produce enough blood for her to steal. They tasted like dirt, but I’d still take them over a gift from Yuki.

"Look, Faye, I want to take care of you. I really do," Yuki said, her voice dropping into that soft, soothing tone she used during interviews. "From now on, you are my responsibility. I’m going to bring you back to your senses and show you the truth."

Now I was beginning to wonder if she was drunk or high on something. She was acting way too nice, way too motherly. It was creeping me out more than her threats did.

"I am nobody’s responsibility," I snapped. I was already annoyed that I was even engaging with her, giving her the satisfaction of a response.

"You know, I met someone today... someone you’ve been wishing would come rescue you. Hahaha... what was that name you gave her again? Pancake?" she said. Her smile stretched wide, turning into a ghoulish grin that didn’t reach her eyes.

I sat up immediately, the breath catching in my throat. My heart dropped the second I heard that name. The room felt like it was spinning.

"Wh-what did you do to Princess...?" I asked. My voice trembled despite my best efforts to keep it steady.

"Oh... look at that. Now your heart is racing. You still haven’t gotten over that sick love of yours, have you? Tell me, what is it going to take to turn that love into hate?" she said. she leaned closer, watching my reaction like it was a show. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"What did you do to Princess?!" I yelled, my hands clenching into fists.

"Come on, stop barking like a dog... I can hear you just fine," she said, rolling her eyes and acting irritated by the volume of my voice. She reached into the bag and pulled out a burger.

"Your Alpha Princess is truly, truly dumb. She really thought my assistant was going to betray me for a little bit of information. I’m always one step ahead of everyone, Faye. I always have more than one plan in motion," she said as she started unwrapping the food.

I remembered what she had said before about the spells. She had Helen cast something on me so that no matter how hard Princess searched, she would never be able to find this place. She even did something to Sasha, cutting our connection temporarily so she couldn’t track my scent or my mind.

It was only temporary because I could feel the bond humming deep in my chest. It’s extremely difficult to permanently sever the bond between the Moon Wolf and her Betas. Yuki calls Sasha my Beta, a were-sire bound to me through my bite. Once they die, they are reborn to follow my lead, but for now, they were just my friends, and they were probably suffering just as much as I was.

"This is a double-smashed burger, with lots of extra pickles... just how you like it, right?" Yuki said. She held the burger out toward me, offering it like a peace treaty.

I glanced at the burger, then back at her devilish face.

"I’m not eating that," I said coldly.

"Princess is never going to buy you burgers again, Faye. Get that through your head. I’ll be the one feeding your cravings from now on. I want to take care of you... and them," she said, her eyes shifting down to my stomach.

I could tell she still hated the fact that I was carrying an Alpha’s pups. She looked at my belly like it was a ticking bomb.

"I will never let you come close to me or my babies," I said, my voice hardening.

"Come on... I’m sure you’ve fantasized about your idol being all over you every night. If I could get you pregnant, I would have given you wolfsbane a long time ago and replaced those things with mine... since you clearly like being a pup bearer so much," she said. The jealousy in her voice was thick and disgusting.

"You’re a disgusting kind of wolf," I snapped. The thought of her even touching me made me feel like I needed to scrub my skin raw.

"Alphas are the ones who are disgusting," she replied, her face darkening.

"Just because your family was killed by Alphas doesn’t make Princess one of them. Not all Alphas are bad, Yuki. You’re worse than any Alpha I’ve ever met," I sneered.

"You haven’t even seen my worst side yet, Faye. I’m only being nice right now because I’ve spent my entire life worshiping you from afar. Praying for you. Waiting for the day you would appear and avenge my family. And you will. I will make sure you avenge them. You will help me kill every last one of those Alphas," she said. She was leaning so close now I could smell the burger on her breath.

"I’m no killer, and I’m not some god you can control. I will never dance to your tune, no matter what you do to me," I said. I stood up, my legs shaky but my mind made up.

I was done talking to her. Every word out of her mouth was like poison trying to seep into my ears.

I turned toward the stairs, heading back to the safety of my room, or as much safety as a prison cell could offer.

But just as I was about to step onto the first stair, the heavy silence of the house was shattered.

Helen rushed out of Henry’s room at the end of the hall, her face pale and her hair disheveled. She looked panicked, her eyes darting around the living room in a frenzy.

"I can’t find Henry!" she screamed, her voice cracking with terror. "Yuki, my son is missing!"
