"Charge!" Philer gritted his teeth, gave a command, and spurred on the other two Wizard Apprentices to charge out of Kosai City with him, pursuing the silhouettes of half-fairies in the Fog Tide.

"Let’s follow," Lilia said after a brief wait, picked up Adeline, and then smeared a drop of fresh blood on Adeline’s lips.

"Adeline can go find her friends now!" The coarse cloth doll spoke in a crisp voice that seemed a bit ingratiating. It then floated in mid-air and began moving forward.

Lucien watched the cloth doll Adeline, who was leading the way, with a hint of vigilance in his heart.

This was the only thing in their group that Lucien could not see through, and according to previous attempts to identify it, this eerie Witch Tool was even tied to a Formal Wizard.

"All of its functions seem to require blood as a medium to activate, so don’t leave any of my blood behind later on," Lucien cautioned, watching Adeline floating ahead while silently speculating the limitations of this peculiar Witch Tool, contemplating effective ways to deal with it.

In case he and Lilia had a complete fallout, he would need to deal with the creepy Witch Tool doll right before his eyes.

"Oh, Adeline’s friends seem to be in trouble, Adeline is going to help them!" After moving slowly for a while, the coarse cloth doll Adeline suddenly cried out, then started moving quickly.

"Keep up!" The team began to accelerate, but this acceleration caused their previously compact formation to stretch out considerably in an instant.

"Carly, be careful," Lucien said as he and Carly maintained the same pace in the middle of the team. At the same time, he cautiously scanned the surroundings, fearing that they might end up in direct combat with half-fairies that could appear out of nowhere.

Lucien didn’t utter a word, but there were already two vials filled with deadly poison in his hand.

If they encountered the group of half-fairies later, the deadly witchcraft he had specifically prepared to target the Fairy Clan would play a significant role.

"Adeline has found her friends! Wow... how despicable! To think they snuck away to sleep here behind Adeline’s back!" Up ahead, excitement and a touch of reproach filled the voice of cloth doll Adeline.

Philer and another apprentice were struggling to hold on against the assault of three half-fairies, relying on a Witch Tool and a defensive witchcraft.
