"I am merely borrowing and utilizing the rules," the Paper Judge glanced at Lucien. The energy he had just absorbed transformed into a special symbol that vanished into the void, faintly taking the form of a golden scale.

The arm of the golden scale trembled slightly, and suddenly the left pan seemed to scoop up a cluster of gray mist and abruptly became heavy, tipping the entire scale completely to one side.

"Judgment!" Suddenly, the Paper Judge’s voice sternly called out the word, and under the influence of a special rule, the two ends of the scale were forcibly balanced together, while the originally empty right end also "scooped" up a clump of golden light under this force.

"Let’s go this way." The Paper People floated forward, following the guidance of the golden light, leading the warriors and Lucien to temporarily part ways.

His spiritual power, serving as tentacles, rapidly spread in that direction, quickly dispersing and feeding back the situation to Lucien’s body.

"Let’s go." Lucien quickly doubled back, following the marks left by the Paper Judge as references, swiftly traversing various forks in the path, and ultimately bursting out through a hole.

"This is..." Lucien looked around the environment the moment he emerged, only to find that he had no recollection of this building located inside the Mondok family mansion.

"This is a building they’ve hidden!" Nearby, the warrior was swinging his short spear, fiercely battling against three players under control. His expression was fierce, and his movements occasionally glitched – the previously suppressed "controlled personality" seemed to be waking up, now vying for control of the body with his consciousness.

Although the warrior could dominate in physical control, under the strain of this tug of war, he could only exert about fifty percent of his strength. Facing three opponents at the level of first order Wizards, he had at times fallen into a passive position.

On the other hand, the controlled players, under the enhancement of the strands of gray mist, had their powers somewhat boosted. Even one of the players showed fluctuating aura, seemingly in a vague position between a first and second order Wizard, with the possibility of breaking through at any moment.

"An altar?" Lucien, sensing the gray mist endlessly emanating around him, quickly turned his attention to the peculiar building next to him.

This was a special building made of stones and bones, somewhat resembling a high tower with an irregular shape, lacking symmetry and harmony, contrasting dramatically with normal human aesthetics and creating a bizarre visual impact.

At the top of this tower was a giant eyeball, its pupil like a special vortex, corresponding distantly to some special entity, and even as it "breathed" continuously, strands of gray mist surged out from the vortex, making the gray mist inside the building even denser.

"Good!" Lucien looked at the gray mist, his eyes shining.

This kind of special aura should be able to stimulate that great sleeping being, shouldn’t it?

He immediately took out a feather pen, aiming to establish contact with that great sleeping entity through writing and to remind him of the "little snack" here.

However, in the next moment, Lucien’s writing was interrupted by a Chaos Goblin, which screeched as it entangled itself with Lucien. Although its strength was only at the level of a first order Wizard, aided by the gray mist, the strength it demonstrated was not to be underestimated.

"Humph, you want to stop me, but I will not do as you wish!" Lucien grinned, even sensing the Chaos Goblin’s anxiety, but this anxiety only made his resolve stronger.

After all, what the enemy desperately wanted to stop was precisely what he had to accomplish!

If he could just draw the attention of that great being towards this place, it would be a fatal blow to the goblin priest hidden in the shadows manipulating everything!

"Hmm hmm hmm..." Lucien sneered inwardly, but in the next moment, under his gaze, the altar before him began to rapidly collapse!

The gray eyeball hanging at the top of the tower closed in an instant, and the special vortex inside began to slow down rapidly and eventually completely disintegrated.

After the eye closed, the "tower" seemed to suddenly lose its power support. The stones and bones and flesh that made up its main body rapidly lost their ability to cohere with one another, disintegrating quickly into chaos.

The gray fog completely dispersed, and with it, the controlled players stiffened in their bodies and then fell to the ground, their breaths fading.

"This..." The Warrior looked somewhat dazedly at his opponents, who had now lost their vitality. He gently touched his own head, only to find that the entity that had been competing for control over his body had also completely disappeared.

"Is... is the problem with my body resolved?" The Warrior touched his own body, somewhat incredulously.

"You could just say he chickened out," Lucien replied irritably. He had imagined many possibilities of clashing with the goblin priest, but he never expected the other to end their first encounter in a manner akin to sacrificing a pawn to save the king.

"Do you think divine beings are that easy to manipulate?" Earl Sanaxis scoffed.

"If it weren’t for the cover provided by the rules within the Land of Reality, perhaps the moment you first harbored malicious intent against him in your heart, he could have directly sensed it and responded. Moreover, for him, ten years or a hundred years are just smaller nodes in time; he has all the time and patience to play slowly with you, a small creature."

"What’s that saying again? Oh right, ’I can afford to make numerous mistakes, but you only have one chance,’" Earl Sanaxis said, his voice carrying a sense of reciting poetry with a shaking head.

Lucien fell silent and slowly walked to the front of the altar ruins, reaching out to pick up the closed gray eyeball to examine it.

Just then, the gray eyeball suddenly opened. The chaotic, twisted power within it transmitted across a vast expanse of time and space, though it didn’t attack and merely quietly gazed at Lucien.

In Lucien’s view, the gray eye had become extraordinarily captivating, seeming to be the only light in the world.

It was a beautiful eye he had never seen before... seeming to transcend all existence; truth seemed particularly trivial in the presence of that eye.

"Snap out of it!" Lucien’s mind roared, struggling desperately against the allure of the eyeball.

Lucien felt his heartbeat accelerating under the gaze of the gray eyeball, sweat beading on his forehead while his eyes seemed entranced.

Whoosh——

The next instant, the anomaly of the gray eyeball seemed to be detected by the Land of Reality. Subsequently, the rules descended, erasing the special eyeball directly.

"I didn’t expect it to gaze over here..." Earl Sanaxis’s voice echoed melancholically, carrying an indescribable sadness.

"Who?" Lucien responded, though he already had an answer in his mind.

"The Mother of Chaos, the one praised as ’Mother Goddess’ by those Chaos creatures," Earl Sanaxis said softly, then fell silent, seemingly saddened by the recent gaze of the Mother of Chaos.

"It’s a pity about that eyeball," the paper Judge floated in front of Lucien, sighing softly.

"Didn’t you feel it just now?" Lucien looked at him, asking in a low voice.

"Feel what?" The paper Judge looked blankly at Lucien.

"Nothing." Lucien lowered his head, the deep eye from earlier surfacing in his mind.

The arrival of the Mother of Chaos seemed to have been perceived only by him.
