"From entry to internment." The corners of Wizard Saud’s mouth curled up slightly as he thought of this saying.

The phrase seemed to have originated from the rising star, Dean Lucien, used to describe certain knowledge that is very difficult to learn. Yet, for Wizard Saud, he felt that he was merely expressing the literal meaning.

"Saud... why are you suddenly drafting some sort of lesson plan? Hadn’t we already confirmed that the transaction this time was for the simplified version of the Frost Body Refining Technique?" Just as Saud was writing furiously, the cabin door of the airship was opened from outside and the other two Formal Wizards accompanying them to Winter Fort walked in.

The one who spoke was another veteran Formal Wizard, Uzziel. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

After all, among the Level 3 Wizards coming from Winter Fort, Woolf had just been promoted to Formal Wizard, so his primary purpose was to gain more experience. Therefore, he didn’t have much say in major decisions; the core issues were mainly discussed between the two veteran Formal Wizards.

But now, Uzziel found, with some dissatisfaction, that Saud had unilaterally changed parts of the agreement that had been previously confirmed without consulting him.

This was something he found difficult to accept, so after sending away the apprentices outside, Uzziel wanted to enter the cabin and have a serious talk with Saud.

"Saud, you should know that neither Winter Fort nor we hope for Greybone Academy to produce outstanding Physical Refining Wizards. The simplified version of the Frost Body Refining Technique that took us a lot of time to streamline fits our expectations very well."

"Although it has decent training speed, it comes at the cost of overtaxing the body. With us having concealed the core frost secret technique, the Physical Refining Wizards who practice this type of refinement can, at most, only train to become third-level Wizard Apprentices..." Uzziel said somewhat anxiously, before he noticed the lesson plan that Saud was writing.

"Saud, have you gone mad? The Body Refining Method you are laying out here is the original refinement technique copied from the ruins!" Uzziel picked up the part of the lesson plan already written, glanced over it briefly, and his hands began to shake slightly. The look he gave Saud was akin to staring at a traitor.

"This level of Body Refinement Technique is also very important to us at Winter Fort; it’s part of the foundations of our academy. There is no way we could use it to teach the wizards from Greybone Academy!" Uzziel said sternly, "I still hold the opinion from before. The Body Refining Technique taught to Greybone Academy should be the simplified Frost Body Refining Technique we agreed on."

"Uzziel, I am well aware of the value of this set of Body Refinement Technique," Saud replied, watching Uzziel, who was visibly agitated and even seemed a bit angry. Saud set down his Feather Pen, his expression remaining extremely calm, and he didn’t forget to make use of a Witch Tool. Inside the soundproof wizard formation set up outside, he temporarily added another spell to block detections.

"However, after weighing the pros and cons, I decided to replace the Frost Body Refining Technique we previously discussed with this unnamed Body Refinement Technique," Saud said, looking Uzziel in the eye.

"After all, their goal might just be to try and quickly produce a lot of third-level Wizard Apprentices suitable for the battlefield as cannon fodder. From this perspective, the simplified version of the Frost Body Refining Technique that we painstakingly created is almost perfectly suited to them; even the original version of the Frost Body Refining Technique doesn’t match Greybone Academy as well as this one."

"After all, although this type of refinement exhausts the body, preventing advancement to Formal Wizard, the training speed at the Apprentice Rank is incredibly fast, much faster than other Body Refinement Techniques. For Greybone Academy, this type of rapid Body Refinement Witchcraft is simply ideal."

Saud continued to elaborate on his conjectures, also sharing some of the hints and anomalies he noticed with Wizard Uzziel. As Uzziel listened, a cold sweat broke out on his back.

"I understand... I understand!" Wizard Uzziel patted his chest, and his eyes showed a hint of admiration when he looked at Saud.

Thank goodness Saud always liked to overthink, otherwise, we might unwittingly have become accomplices to Greybone Academy this time..., Wizard Uzziel thought to himself, feeling relieved. He regarded Saud with rare appreciation.

"Alright, Saud, I support you in this. I swear by the great will of the wizards, once we return to Winter Fort, I’ll help you explain and clarify this at the round table meeting," Uzziel declared solemnly, his expression extremely serious and sincere.

"Thank you for your understanding, Uzziel," Saud showed a faint smile. He picked up his Feather Pen again and continued writing the lesson plan on Body Refinement Technique.

"Is there... a way to do something similar to it?" Uzziel became silent for a moment, as if he had thought of something. He looked at Saud, but soon shook his head.

"No, it’s impossible. Even the lord of the fort didn’t dare to practice this technique, and in the history of Winter Fort, no wizard has ever been able to truly replicate this training method. If we modify it rashly, it might completely nullify the entire Body Refinement Technique, possibly letting Greybone Academy discover something or getting backlash from the contract."

With a helpless shake of his head, Uzziel eventually smiled wryly. "No choice, we’ll have to give a bonus to those wizards from Greybone Academy!"

"Indeed, a bonus to them!" Saud’s face also showed a smile, while Iceberg Woolf, listening silently beside them, kept quiet, appearing somewhat reserved.

Although Woolf knew that Saud and Uzziel were both trying their best to protect the interests of Winter Fort, he still felt a bit worried. After all, he knew the Meditation Method traded by Winter Fort and Greybone Academy might also be practiced and learned by his friend Edison.

And by doing so, it was highly likely that he would be harmed.

But if he were to tell him, it would be the same as betraying Winter Fort, especially since Edison was, after all, a Wizard Apprentice at Greybone Academy.

As she spoke, Carly extended her finger and pointed at one line on the parchment.

Donn followed the direction of Carly’s finger and then found his breath growing heavier.

"Qualification to learn the upgraded Meditation Method"

This was the meditation that those Third-level Wizard Apprentices all desperately desired, and now he could learn it for free just by becoming an "instructor"!

With this kind of meditation method, perhaps he had a chance to advance to a Third-level Wizard Apprentice, or even entertain dreams of becoming a Formal Wizard, a member of the academy committee!
