"Is this the place?" Within The Lost Land, several figures stood solemnly before a ruin, and in front of them lay several bound figures forced to grovel on the ground.

"It should be here." The Grey Bone Wizard lifted his head and checked the ancient sheepskin map in his hands, "The entrance must be concealed somewhere..."

"No, if this is indeed a relic left by the Dawn Wizards, then the lack of an entrance would make sense," the Level 3 Wizard Delatore said with a smile, the aged face beneath showing an unmistakable look of expectation and desire. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"After all, in the distant era of the Wizard Empire, the Dawn Wizards could be referred to as ’They.’ They are fundamentally different from Level 3 Wizards, not only theoretically having eternal life but also being able to use their flesh to break free from the constraint of the Wizard World and wander the Star Sea. It is said that in some minor worlds within the Star Sea, beings at the level of Dawn Wizards are considered as gods of creation..."

"And their incredibly strong spiritual power can even change and under certain conditions create rules, carving out a semi-plane in the void which, in other civilizations’ systems of cultivation, could even be considered a nascent kingdom of a god..."

The Grey Bone Wizard and several other Second-level Wizards quietly listened to the Level 3 Wizard Delatore discussing the information about Dawn Wizards, also known as Fourth-level Wizards, their eyes filled with longing.

At their Second-level Wizard standing, they could possibly become leaders in the weakest wizard organizations like Greybone Academy and the Forest School, but the secrets and information about the Fourth-level Dawn Wizards were difficult for them to access. Listening to Delatore discuss the combat capabilities of the Dawn Wizards made them acutely aware of their own insignificance.

"Lord Delatore, since Dawn Wizards can become ’gods,’ why would they..." Finally, a Second-level Wizard who was relatively close to Delatore could not contain his confusion and voiced his doubts.

"Even real gods fall over a long span of time, not to mention the Dawn Wizards," Delatore replied softly, shaking his head, unwilling to say much more. Instead, he turned his gaze to the group of bound "sacrifices," among whom were several Formal Wizards who had betrayed Greybone Academy.

"Nine First-level Wizards, and the blood essence of these apprentices..." Delatore closed his eyes, as if calculating something, but his eyes soon reopened. He looked calmly at a Second-level Wizard beside him. "Where is the nearest wizard organization, and what kind is it, especially if it has Formal Wizards?"

Although the few Formal Wizards were able to maintain their basic sanity under the protection of the formation, the sight of two Second-level Wizards relentlessly attacking the outer guardian formation filled their eyes with despair.

The gap between them was simply too vast!

The two Second-level Wizards outside were indifferent, disregarding the Formal Wizards’ pleas for apology and simply manipulated the magic emotionlessly, quickly shattering the already unstable Guardian Witch Array through their coordinated assault.

Under the cover of the wild wind and the peals of thunder, an unremarkable slaughter descended upon this small coastal wizard organization.

Inside the first-year public classroom of Greybone Academy.

"That’s all for today’s basic Magic Rune class, but before you go, can two students come here to record the homework..." Carly, who had purposefully worn a pair of thick-soled boots, jumped down from the stool and looked at the new blood in the classroom holding their heads, seemingly ready to escape early, and loudly added.

"Ah, homework again..." Many bean sprouts in the back rows of the classroom wailed.

Carly smiled, looking at the group of new blood she had "led onto the right path," her smile radiant with a sense of fulfillment akin to that on the face of a farmer during harvest.

Suddenly, her expression changed slightly as she felt her wrist growing hotter as if it had come into contact with a red-hot iron. Though the stinging pain was brief, her wrist continued to feel a burning sensation.

And the source of this heat came from the Cloud Country legacy mark on Carly’s wrist.

"This is your homework for today. I will randomly select students to check it before I start class next week," Carly said somewhat hastily, leaving the classroom. She was eager to find out the reason for the sudden change in the mark on her wrist and also intended to seek guidance from her mentor Lucien.

However, it didn’t take long for Carly to sense a message transmitted through the Cloud Country mark on her wrist, asking her if she was willing to "open the door".

"Refuse! Refuse!" Carly almost subconsciously responded to the message, and then, the originally fiery temperature of the Cloud Country mark slowly cooled down, and the burning sensation faded quickly.

Carly stopped in her tracks, looking at her wrist somewhat blankly.

"Is it... is it over?" She shook her hand in confusion and tried to penetrate the mark with her spiritual power, but she didn’t find anything unusual.

"I should still consult with Mentor Lucien, just to be safe..." Carly decided, quickening her pace.

On the other side, within the ruins in The Lost Land, thirteen "candlesticks" were arranged according to a special rule on a giant altar traced with blood, each holding a pale flame.

At the center of the altar, Level 3 Wizard Delatore lightly slit open his palm with a silver knife, smearing his fresh blood on the Relic Core that had been snatched by the Grey Bone Wizard.

As a soft rumbling began, the Relic Core, which looked just like an ordinary stone ball, started to "bloom" with the nourishment of fresh blood. In front of the altar, a somewhat blurry door of light appeared, seemingly spanning the vast Starry Sky, as if it were about to descend into the Wizard World.

"Success!" A hint of joy appeared on the face of the Grey Bone Wizard.

He went up on his tiptoes to look at the door of light, his breath quickening slightly and his cheeks turning a touch red.

He understood that behind this door of light was connected to a Dawn Wizard’s demi-plane, an absolute private garden, a treasure trove of a Dawn Wizard.

Even ... perhaps not just a Dawn Wizard, if luck was on his side, this powerful wizard who had carved out a demi-plane could have had the strength of the Luminous Moon, or even the Radiant Sun level in life...

The treasures within, even if the lion’s share was given to Delatore, even just a small residual part would be enough for him to benefit endlessly, even possibly give him the opportunity to once again attempt to reach the Level 3 Wizard tier.

Thinking of this, an obvious smile spread across the aged face of the Grey Bone Wizard.
