Lucien listened quietly to Anos’s account, feeling a measure of admiration for the Dark Brave who had become a Demon King due to the Demonic Qi contamination but had, with the last bit of humanity in him, allowed his former comrades to seal him through the cruelest means.

But what Lucien cared about more was not this Dream World’s constructed history and legend, but the useful information hidden within this history.

"Father, don’t Demon Kings usually say something before they die? I read that in books," Lucien tried to make his inquiry seem nonchalant, blinking, though his eyes already had faint fluctuations of spiritual power.
