This wizard only wishes to be a teacher

Carly gazed at the full-cover armor witch tool model in front of her, her eyes slightly glazed over.

This was a somewhat odd-looking, combined set of armor made of metal, from the helmet to the boots, a total of 37 parts. If one followed this design process, this peculiar set of armor would essentially consist of 37 separate witch tools combined into one, its value comparable to or even surpassing a defensive witch tool used by a formal wizard.

And the first impression this set of witch tools gave Carly was: sturdy!

The type of sturdiness that gave her a full sense of security! Even more so than the protection from the full-body armor of heavy armored knights she had seen before in Graystone City.

Had it not been for the dimensions on the blueprint clearly unsuitable for Edison, Carly would have even felt that this heavy armor, draped over Edison, wouldn’t have been out of place at all.

But this was a set of witch tools prepared by her mentor Lucien, and she was a wizard skilled with the bow and arrow!

Looking at the armor that offered such a sense of security, Carly fell into self-doubt, feeling that something was off, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it...

"Try it first, after being crafted into a witch tool, you needn’t worry too much about agility in the armor," Lucien said, comforting Carly as she hesitated to speak.

"That’s not what I am concerned about..." Carly muttered to herself, but when Lucien looked her way, she could only clutch her head and put on a somewhat forced smile.

"Carly, as an archer, or rather, a magic marksman, I believe you must understand one point," Lucien looked at Carly and smiled, "you can only deal damage if you’re alive."

Carly was taken aback for a moment, then felt that what mentor Lucien said made a lot of sense.

She couldn’t help but look at the heavy armor model beside her, deep in thought.

Could it be... is this the ultimate destiny of an archer?

"Alright, don’t think too much, after the armor is crafted, I’ll also need your help to prepare some for Edison, Gagarin, and the others. "Half right," Lucien said with a smile, then pointed to the small stack of papers in Carly’s hands and then to the huge pile beside her, casually adding, "These are just a part of what needs to be learned first; we’ll design some of the basic parts while learning..."

Feeling the information transmitted to his mind, the corners of Lucien’s mouth curled up slightly.

Turning his head, Lucien saw Carly, whose face was somewhat haggard, dozing off on the design table.

"Let her rest well," Lucien waved his hand gently, releasing a Zero-level Witchcraft to block the surrounding noise for Carly, then he picked up one of the armor parts and started the complex and tedious Enchantment process.

"You’re really going all out, aren’t you..." Count Sanaxis, who had grown quite a bit, glanced at the design blueprints full of revision marks, then looked at the parts prepared for Enchantment on the operation table and clucked his tongue with a hint of admiration.

"According to these rules, if we don’t go all out, it might be difficult to ensure absolute safety even for a Formal Wizard in the blood duels. A moment of carelessness could lead to severe injury," Lucien shook his head slightly, but his hands did not stop moving.

He could imagine the meat grinder-like battle scene that would unfold: groups of Third-level Wizard Apprentices launching attacks, many top Wizard Apprentices would receive gifts from Formal Wizards, and if they formed hunting squads, in a short time, their combat power would be no less than that of a Formal Wizard.

"The Wizard World," Count Sanaxis’s eyes rolled swiftly, his mouth rambling on and on.

Lucien hesitated for a moment, then took out a grape from the Space Ring.

Count Sanaxis deftly climbed onto the grape and began to suck the juice from within.

However, as Lucien got up, the table shook lightly, and the grape also swayed slightly, slowly rolling across the table.

Caught off guard, Count Sanaxis was now spread out on the table, his body appearing more like a two-dimensional creature.
