Wizard Morgan’s head flew through the air, landing heavily back on the ground under the gaze of the Wizard Apprentices, where it rolled several times, even staining his face with a considerable amount of dust.

As an old Third-level Wizard Apprentice who had fought and struggled through half a life at Greybone Academy, he seemed to have grown accustomed to living a life of selfless service to the Formal Wizards. But now, having witnessed the entire proceeding of Morgan being judged, it felt as if his world had collapsed.

Certain obsessions, certain convictions seemed insignificant in this moment.

He seemed to have come to terms with it suddenly, and his entire being felt uncaged and unburdened as if a shackle had been removed.

"Perhaps... I should return to South Karas County, back to my family’s castle..." the old apprentice muttered softly. His body seemed slightly stooped, but his steps grew brisker.
