Lucien fell silent upon seeing the message from Hercules. What did that mean? Could it be that Hercules thought he was boasting and was now suffering from a backlash of his oath? Lucien’s expression turned odd. However, after giving it some thought, he felt it was more likely due to a misunderstanding caused by his failure to explain things clearly to Hercules.

He simply took out the Communication Magic Cube and added a brief explanation about his method.

According to the military doctor, he has developed a high fever, and his bloodline talent also showed mild loss of control. The Cecilia side has even borrowed two experienced military doctors from us..."

"Is everything alright? Do you need to go to the nearest temple to find a priest for deeper treatment?" Hercules asked calmly while also discreetly collecting a sample of Rudy’s blood as a "specimen," looking towards the person in charge of the Cecilia family’s squad.

"Not for the moment." The bearded knight seemed rugged but with a sharp look in his eyes.

"Yes, it was uncomfortable for a while." Hercules’s voice was steady as he stood up. "Since it’s not too serious, I’ll head back now. Doctor Motte, the rest of you stay here for the time being."

Hercules nodded and leaped onto his chestnut warhorse, nudging the horse lightly to trot ahead of the main force.

But soon, Hercules’s eyes narrowed, for he saw a figure in a nearby woodland gesturing to him. That figure was none other than Rafael.

"Captain Roland!" Rafael ran over from afar, excitement on his face.

Inside, however, Hercules was somewhat irritated, reminded of his badly damaged High Altitude Eye as he watched Rafael.

"Have you finished your business?" Hercules asked, managing to keep his temper in check with a neutral inquiry, also a probe, for he was uncertain whether Rafael now harbored any suspicions or wariness against him.
