"Is this Greybone Academy? Why does it feel a bit different from the last time I saw it..."

Three wizards from Winter Fort emerged from the mouth of the Aeculli Cloud Whale, curiously taking in the nearly breached wizard organization of Greybone Academy, their eyes filled with curiosity.

However, it wasn’t long before Saud, the leading Formal Wizard, turned his head to address the group of Wizard Apprentices behind him, who also had curious glints in their eyes.

"Let me be clear, within Greybone Academy, I won’t intervene if you stir up trouble. But remember one thing, if you start trouble, be prepared to bear the consequences on your own. If you stir up trouble and can’t handle it, heh heh... then after we return to Winter Fort, be prepared to squat in the Ice Pit for two months. Did you all hear me?"

"Yes!" The Wizard Apprentices who had followed them to Greybone Academy were the burly type, and they responded to Saud’s command with voices that sounded particularly energetic and powerful.

"Very good, you truly are the young eagles of Winter Fort!" Saud said with a smile of encouragement. Then, he shifted his gaze to a Third-level Wizard Apprentice who was at the forefront, his eyes filled with expectancy and encouragement.

"Uncle, don’t worry." The Wizard Apprentice, who bore some resemblance to Saud, gave a grin that conveyed great self-assurance.

After Woolf’s promotion, Kolo was undoubtedly the top apprentice of Winter Fort. He had been sent by the family to participate in this "academic exchange" with the hope that it would be a chance for Kolo to establish his reputation and command respect.

However, Kolo’s confidence did not last long. When he noticed the three people coming out of Greybone Academy, his expression of self-assurance suddenly froze.

Among those who had come out to meet them was Carly, known to other Wizard Apprentices as "The Grim Reaper" in the Blood Duel Mystic Realm. Judging from the aura she emanated, the Demon King of the Blood Duel Mystic Realm apparently had not yet been promoted...

A feeling of dread washed over Kolo, and he instinctively glanced at Saud beside him, his eyes now flickering with avoidance.

"She hasn’t been promoted yet..." Kolo lamented in his heart. First, he looked at Woolf, who had already been successfully promoted to a Formal Wizard, then at Carly, who was waving at them amicably, feeling a bittersweet sensation.

After all, she was an opponent he truly could not defeat...

Behind Kolo, the Wizard Apprentices from Winter Fort, who had been brimming with confidence, suddenly became as meek as mice who had seen a cat. Even several of them reflexively stood at attention upon seeing Carly, feeling a sense of familiarity they hadn’t experienced in a long time.

"Legend has it that Fairies with particularly pure bloodlines grow or advance slowly, but conversely, they possess incredible strength due to their powerful bloodlines, making them among the strongest of their peers... Could it be that this fellow has that kind of pure and rare bloodline..."

Saud was now aware of Carly and couldn’t help but entertain such a thought.

However, his attention was soon drawn away from Carly and towards another Apprentice.

It was a youth who appeared rather simple, but who was also quite burly. He was even half a head taller than Lucien and stood out among the typically lean Elemental Wizards.

As Saud studied him more closely, he was taken aback to discover that this robust-looking Apprentice also walked the path of the Physical Refining Wizard. Moreover, based on Saud’s preliminary observation, the youth seemed to be of average strength in the realms of body refinement, but his foundations were impressively solid.

Saul was now experiencing a sense of delighted anticipation, and he quickly took a couple of steps towards the Apprentice. Before the Apprentice could react, Saul threw a punch toward Edison’s chest.

Of course, the punch was not meant to be lethal but was the kind of "greeting" used by Body Refining Wizards to gauge strength. Saul had pulled his punch since, with his physical prowess as a Formal Wizard, just the oppressive force emanating from his body would have sufficed to incapacitate Edison even without the punch landing.

To Saud’s surprise, his sudden punch was caught by Edison, who reflexively thrust out his own fist. Though it appeared somewhat rushed, it ultimately managed to block Saud’s punch aimed at his chest.

Bang—

After their fists collided, Saud remained unmoving, while Edison staggered backward for several steps, eventually collapsing to the ground with a stumble. He then blinked, evidently unharmed.

"Good lad, let’s go again!" Saul’s eyes shone with excitement, as he appeared to be quite thrilled.

But Edison simply shook his head, dusted off himself after standing up, and then earnestly and firmly shook his head at Saul, "I’m no match for you, I admit defeat."

Saul was initially taken aback but then burst into a more hearty laugh. "Interesting, very interesting..."

Then he turned to Lucien, "Lucien, this Wizard Apprentice is too interesting. How about... you let us have him for Winter Fort? I can decide to return everything you’ve previously acquired from us, and I would like to take him as my student."

Lucien, who had been smiling, became a little unsettled upon hearing this.

So this person came here to poach students?

"I’m quite happy here, I won’t go with you," Edison flatly shook his head, directly refusing Saul’s blatant "poaching."

After all, Wizard Saud’s punch was too sudden, and without some Body Refining Witchcraft to assist, he’d have to withstand it with his body alone.

However, Kolo soon felt a complex mix of emotions.

After all, he was currently the number one among the Wizard Apprentices in Winter Fort! So why was it that within Greybone Academy, an organization not known for the Body Refining path of wizards, such a gifted Physical Refining Wizard could be cultivated?

Or could it be that Greybone Academy had quietly elevated its Physical Refining Wizard faction to this level?

Such an absurd idea surfaced in Kolo’s mind.

No wonder... Greybone Academy invited us from Winter Fort for an academic exchange... Kolo quickly linked this to some other matters, and his gaze towards Lucien became somewhat more reverent.

Taking a deep breath, he braced himself with full focus, as his previous prejudices about Greybone Academy seemed to vanish in that moment.

After entering Greybone Academy, these Wizard Apprentices were led by Carly and Gagarin and others on a tour inside the academy.

Soon, Kolo saw a Wizard Apprentice who was working hard to train her body.

She was holding a thick stack of books, each book of considerable thickness, but they added up to dozens of volumes stacked together, even taller than the head of the Wizard Apprentice holding them.

This individual, at most a First-level Wizard Apprentice, was now carrying such a huge pile of books, moving forward unsteadily.

Kolo had never before seen this method of training arm strength by holding books, and he watched the Wizard Apprentice with some curiosity. Unable to contain his intrigue, he turned to Carly, who was leading the way, "Magic... Ma’am, what is that Wizard Apprentice doing...?"

Lucien, sitting at the other end of the platform, listened with utmost seriousness. After all, these fundamental concepts were exactly what he urgently needed.
