On the carriage, Maid Mier sat opposite Lurah, looking at her mistress who was now staring out the window, somewhat lost in thought, and couldn’t help but feel a tinge of sympathy in her heart.

Lucien looked at the sincere Mier at this moment and didn’t even know how to comment.

"That’s good then..." Lucien exhaled softly, no longer hesitating, wrapped his body in his wizard’s robe, and then quickly slipped into the Shadow Space, surrounded by the flow of shadowy air, approaching the abandoned bell tower not far from the manor.

As Lucien neared the abandoned bell tower, quickly through his spiritual power, he found a familiar wave of spiritual force, belonging to the wizard "Thunder" he had never met.

Around Thunder, there were a few subtle fluctuations of presence, and... a second-tier wizard’s strong aura that Lucien had previously sensed within his family estate.

A shiver ran down Lucien’s spine, and he instinctively stopped his approach, his right hand even picking up the Wizard’s Notes and flipping to the page containing "Crimson Pages."

However, his presence had already been detected by three or four presences, carrying scrutiny, indifference, but not much malice.

This slightly relaxed Lucien, who paused for a second or two before continuing towards the bell tower, albeit emerging from the Shadow Space with only a thin stream of shadowy air concealing his face and true aura.

"Shadow?" At the door of the bell tower, a young wizard with blue hair and a somewhat heavily mechanical monocle stopped for a moment upon seeing Lucien and his wizard’s robe, then cracked a smile and performed an awkward wizard’s salute to Lucien.

"I am Thunder. Although I don’t know where you were in the Wizard World before, I’m really pleased to meet you here!"

"Judging by his appearance, it seems he follows the path of the Mechanical Wizard..." While Thunder was silently observing Lucien, Lucien was also quietly considering him. However, this observation didn’t last long, as Thunder led Lucien inside the bell tower and after entering a spacious underground room, Lucien saw the other members of the gathering.

Their appearances were bizarre and varied, with the tallest member standing close to four meters tall and covered in long, thick hair, looking like a walking plush toy, while the smallest was only twenty centimeters tall, with a humanoid face but two sets of dragonfly-like wings behind her...

"Newcomer?" a werewolf noticed Lucien, revealing what might have been a friendly or possibly intimidating fierce smile.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is ’Shadow,’ from the Wizard World, just like me," Thunder introduced Lucien to the other members with a smile, some of whom nodded or smiled in response, while others maintained their indifference, not responding to Thunder or Lucien.

"These people aren’t really bad, but to be pulled into this circle, you must at least be among the standout ’players’ of the first-tier wizards, so these friends are somewhat arrogant; you don’t need to take it personally," Thunder’s advice came to Lucien through a mental tendril.

"However, there is one rule here that you must never violate, and that is to never offend His Excellency ’the Judge’."

"Judge?" Lucien followed the gaze of Thunder at that moment, looking towards a direction of the bell tower.

There, an old man sat silently, his body emaciated, his aura immensely withdrawn. He seemed like a candle flickering in the wind, possibly on the verge of death at any moment, yet when Lucien’s eyes met his, he could sense the elder’s uniqueness, even giving Lucien the urge to feel that when this old man spoke, it represented the final outcome, or rather, the judgment.

A third-level wizard! Even among the ranks of third-level wizards, he was a powerhouse, just one step away from becoming a "god"!

Lucien quickly determined the old man’s realm and respectfully bowed slightly towards him. But internally he couldn’t help feeling uneasy.

After all, if such a being made a move, there would be no chance for him to survive.

"Young fellow, rest assured, what I need now is ’notarization’ and ’judgment,’ as long as you do not violate the rules I have set, I won’t make a move."

As Lucien felt somewhat restless in his heart, an unfamiliar voice suddenly appeared in his mind.

"Yes, I will heed your teachings," Lucien said, his body jolting, and he bowed respectfully again, his eyes briefly meeting those of the "Judge."

The "Judge" revealed a smile and said nothing more.

"’Judge’ sir is the only one among us who entered this Dream World voluntarily and is also the one who has reincarnated the longest here," Thunder said, conveying the information telepathically through spiritual power now that Lucien and the judge had finished their greetings.

"However, his goals are different from ours. He aims for ascension and therefore needs to experiment and observe in this special environment. He is also the initiator and witness of our gatherings here; remember, do not fabricate anything in front of ’Judge’ sir, or what awaits you will be a ruthless ’trial.’"

Lucien nodded silently and under the guidance of Thunder, found a place to sit down.

"Let’s get started then." The judge waited until enough people had arrived, then gently knocked on the table in front of him, signaling the start of the gathering.

There was a brief moment of silence. Then, as the judge had not indicated he would not speak, a player with a large single eye on its head took the initiative to speak out. Its voice was somewhat shrill, speaking in a language unfamiliar to Lucien, but perhaps due to the nature of the Dream World, he could understand the player’s meaning with ease.

"Where is ’Necromancer’? I have brought the lion-mouse herb he required, a full three units!"

While speaking, he also placed three bundles of herb that emitted a special stench on the table and looked around for the player "Necromancer" who had pre-ordered the herb from him.

"Necromancer is dead, according to the rules, the transaction is void, and the deposit he paid you is yours to keep," the judge said, lifting his eyelids slightly, his voice low.

"Damn it..." the single-eyed player muttered under their breath but dared not say anything more. Instead, he quickly collected the three bundles of lion-mouse herb and fell silent.

"I need poison, any poison capable of killing... a poison capable of killing those so-called Awakeners in this world." Another player spoke up, and soon three players raised their hands, indicating their willingness to trade with him.

Eventually, this player chose a petite female player with dragonfly wings, whom Lucien had noticed earlier. After a brief exchange, they seemed to agree on a price, and then a drop of golden ink flew out from the buyer and was collected by the dragonfly-winged woman into her vessel.

"That golden ink is the standard currency we use for trading here. After all, the magic stones we use in the Wizard World are nothing more than pretty rocks to practitioners of other systems. Only ’ink’ is considered hard currency in this world. If you have ink, you might indeed be able to buy some fairly good things here," Thunder whispered to Lucien.

Lucien nodded slightly but did not rush to take out the ink for trading, knowing full well the value of the ink. He would not lightly exchange the ink that could write special commands for some seemingly valuable but useless items.

"I need bones, bones full of energy or items with curses," another player rasped while Lucien was quietly conversing with Thunder. This player seemed to be composed entirely of bones.

"Bones?" Lucien thought, his mind stirring at the mention. He remembered the beast bones he had obtained from a player and the massive battle axe made from bone.

The bones had marks reminiscent of wizard formation models, but they were mostly ordinary, if not for containing some energy, serving as materials for crafting Witch Tools or setting up wizard formations. It would be a good choice to trade them for some ink.

"I have some..." Thinking this, Lucien raised his hand slightly and, with a raspy voice, looked towards the skeletal player.
