JUN’S POV

"So, you’re saying there’s a mole in my company feeding information to Yifan?" My voice is sharp, and controlled, though my fists clench under the table.

"Yes."

"And why should I believe you?"

Riley doesn’t waste time beating around the bush or small talks. Instead, she slides a photo across the table, her manicured nails tapping it lightly. I glance down—and feel the blood in my veins ignite.

It’s a picture of my garage in America. The place no one should have access to except me.

My jaw tightens as she produces two more photos, this time of my car’s engine. Detailed, high-quality images. The kind that could only be taken by someone with direct access. My teeth grind against each other.

"I have more," Riley says evenly, her gaze unflinching. "But I want something in return."

"Name your price."

"Yifan’s death."

There’s no shock on my face. Her words are heavy, unapologetic. When she first mentioned her dead sister, I thought it was just backstory. Now, it’s clear—it’s motive.

"Huang," Riley says, her voice softening, though her rage simmers beneath the surface. "My sister was full of life, vibrant, and dreamed of a happy family. But over the years, I watched her eyes dull. He took everything from her. He abused her. Slowly poisoned her. And then showed the world his act of grief, claiming she fell gravely ill. And took everything that once belongs to my family."

I’ve had my suspicions about Huang Xu’s death. The timing felt to convenient, but it wasn’t my place to dig deeper. Now, her sister’s words fit every missing piece together.

"I want him to feel the same helplessness, the same fear," she continues, her voice trembling with suppressed rage. "I want to return him everything he did to my sister."

"It’s against the law," I reply, my voice cold. "You should take this to the police."

She smirks, leaning back in her chair. "Mr. Feng, let’s not pretend you’re a saint. If something happened to your girlfriend or wife, would you go to the cops?"

The words hit harder than I expect. My jaw ticks at the thought of Yiren being harmed. Touch her, and I’ll do worse than anything this woman is imagining. I have a friend in Underworld who owns a deadly den that he use to torture enemies.... I’ll make a good use of it to prolong the suffering.

Her smirk deepens, sensing she has me cornered. "See? You understand better than you’re willing to admit."

I don’t respond, my silence enough of an answer.

"Fine," I say after a moment, my tone curt.

She slides a thick envelope across the table. "Everything you need is here. The evidence of someone inside your company feeding Yifan information over the two years though I don’t know who it is. Yifan’s been building his own version of your project, piece by piece."

I open the envelope and sort through the documents—purchase receipts for equipment, photographs of my garage, even the old blueprints. It’s worse than I thought. Yifan hasn’t just been stealing ideas; he’s been systematically shadowing every move I’ve made for years.

"How did he get into my garage?" I demand. "The lock is biometric, and only I have access."

"Clearly, someone else figured out how to bypass that. You’re not as untouchable as you think."

Her words cut deep, but they’re not wrong. I underestimated him. I let my guard down.

"Yifan is already assembling his team to impress Darryl and prove you incompetent," she says, standing. "He’s closer to the finish line than you think. Don’t take too long to act, Mr. Feng. Time isn’t on your side."

I stand and walk to the window. My reflection stares back at me, a stark reminder of what’s at stake.

The first thing I did after finding about Yifan’s plans was to call a meeting with my brothers and tell them everything about my dream project. If there’s one thing we brothers excel at, it’s functioning as a team when it matters most.

As expected, Jianyu and Shishi didn’t disappoint. Their advice was unanimous: don’t give up on your dream, no matter what or else we will drag you into the boxing ring and beat the hell out of you.

Analyzing the stolen blueprints revealed something crucial: all of this started happening two years back....

That was when my license of FIA was approved and I got the permission to participate in the race. Though I have been postponing it till date, it seems that was when Yifan got a whiff of it. He is a F1 enthusiast like me and keeps a close watch.

And then as if Meimei wanted to clear a doubt, she matched the time on the photos with my past schedule.

Every single one was taken in my absence, when I was out of the country. My older garage was in the basement of Feng Enterprises headquarters, as my newer was under construction.

But lately, after I moved to Imperial City in my house, the theft stopped abruptly. I have made lot of changes in these past three months and these stolen evidences don’t have any of that.

Good news for us.

That tells us two things—first, the mole had access to me in the past but not anymore. Second, they are unable to get into my current house as it’s near impossible, thanks to the advanced security systems and tight protocols.

And my choice of keeping the place only for family.

That means Yifan’s little operation has been starved of new information.

So he must be desperate....It’s the crack we need to exploit.

The plan? Lure the mole out.

How? Yiren.

Now that I’m out of the country, it’s the best time to get information.

And the only source of information is her.

I trust her to execute this, but I left detailed instructions on the pen drive, just in case. She’s smart, resourceful, and my best bet. But she also has a knack for diving headfirst into danger. If she gets herself hurt, I’ll commit a few murders of my own.

The rest? My men will handle it.

For now, I need to focus. This battle is just getting started.
