The next day, Wren Wynter woke up early. After washing up, she changed into a sharp, professional outfit.

She was going to the Xavier Group today to discuss the collaboration project with Kaden Xavier. She knew this was another unavoidable meeting.

When she came downstairs, Butler Chandler had already prepared breakfast.

"Miss Wynter, you look much more energetic today," Butler Chandler said with concern.

"Yes, I feel much better after a night’s sleep."

Wren Wynter smiled and sat down at the dining table.

She tried her best to remain calm and not let the shadow of Kaden Xavier affect her professional mindset.

After breakfast, Wren Wynter drove to the Xavier Group. Along the way, she repeatedly went over the details of the project proposal in her mind, striving for perfection.

She didn’t want to show any flaws in front of Kaden Xavier.

When her car entered the underground parking garage of the Xavier Group, her heart couldn’t help but beat a little faster.

She took the elevator straight to the top floor.

When the elevator doors opened, she immediately saw Assistant Lynch waiting by the entrance.

"Assistant Lynch, is Mr. Xavier in his office?"

"Yes, Mr. Xavier has been waiting for you for quite some time." Assistant Lynch led Wren Wynter toward Kaden Xavier’s office.

Pushing open the office door, Wren Wynter immediately saw Kaden Xavier sitting behind his desk.

He was wearing a dark suit today, which made him seem even more composed and reserved.

Although his face was still a bit pale, his spirits were clearly much better than yesterday.

When Kaden Xavier saw her come in, he put down the file in his hand and looked up.

Wren Wynter nodded and walked to the front of the desk.

Kaden Xavier didn’t answer right away, instead studying her carefully.

There was a trace of exhaustion in her eyes, but it was overshadowed by a look of resilience and focus.

A surge of pride welled up in his heart. ’This was the woman he had once loved so deeply, and still loved deeply now.’

"No rush."

He gestured for Wren Wynter to sit. "Have a cup of coffee first. I had Assistant Lynch prepare one for you."

Wren Wynter didn’t refuse and sat down. Assistant Lynch quickly brought over a cup of fragrant coffee.

"Thank you." Wren Wynter took the coffee and had a sip.

Kaden Xavier watched her, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"I gave your proposal a rough look-over last night. There are a few points I’d like to discuss with you in person."

Wren Wynter’s heart skipped a beat. ’He actually read it last night? It seems he’s taking this project very seriously.’

"Of course, Mr. Xavier. Please, enlighten me."

Kaden Xavier picked up the document on the desk, pointed to a few pages, and began to discuss them with Wren Wynter.

His thinking was clear, and the questions he raised were sharp and to the point.

Wren Wynter listened attentively, responding from time to time. The exchange between them was efficient and professional.

Several hours later, the details of the proposal were mostly finalized.

Kaden Xavier closed the file and looked up.

"Wren, I hope we can have a pleasant collaboration on this project."

"Me too," Wren Wynter replied.

"Also, regarding the medical equipment donation for Aferia, I’ve already made the arrangements. The hospital here has also begun its expansion to prepare to receive more injured patients. I plan on taking you all for a tour."

Kaden Xavier abruptly changed the subject.

As they spoke, they arrived at the dean’s office.

The dean was a woman in her fifties named Luna Lee. She wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and looked shrewd and competent.

Seeing Kaden Xavier enter, she immediately stood up to welcome him.

"Mr. Xavier, you’re here."

Dean Lee said respectfully.

"Dean Lee, let me make some introductions."

Kaden Xavier gestured to Wren Wynter and her seniors. "These are Elder Hawthorne’s students: Miss Wynter, Mr. Park, Mr. Shaw, and Mr. Crowe."

"They’re here this time to discuss collaborating with our hospital on a medical project."

When Dean Lee heard Elder Hawthorne’s name, a flash of surprise crossed her eyes, and she immediately became even more enthusiastic.

Elder Hawthorne’s standing in the medical world was monumental, so his students were naturally bound to be extraordinary.

"I’ve heard so much about you. Welcome, everyone."

Dean Lee enthusiastically shook hands with Wren Wynter and the others.

"Mr. Xavier, rest assured, we will give our full cooperation to Miss Wynter and her team. I’ve already assigned them several experienced nurses, one of whom is our hospital’s head nurse and is very familiar with our procedures."

Dean Lee said.

Afterward, Dean Lee led Wren Wynter and her team on a tour of the hospital.

During the tour, Dean Lee introduced several nurses to Wren Wynter and her team.

"Dr. Crowe, are you satisfied with our hospital’s environment?"

Leo Crowe responded politely, "It’s very nice. The hospital’s facilities are comprehensive."
