When the village was attacked by two members of the Akatsuki, Zixu was squatting in the prison of Kirigakure, contemplating life.

Four years had passed, and Zixu had grown significantly. He now stood around 1.8 meters tall in his normal state, his physique packed with raw power. His abdominal and chest muscles were as solid as a bull's, his arms thick and brimming with strength. Every muscle seemed to have a life of its own, fresh muscle fibers teeming with energy.

He wanted to see who still dared to call him weak, so he threw a punch backward. The purpose of learning was to speak reason to fools; the purpose of training was to make fools listen to reason.

Despite his strength, Zixu still wore a bitter expression. He muttered to himself in a voice only he could hear.

"System, how many points do I have now?"

"Not bad, only 3,500 left. After this job, I'll clear my debt soon~" Zixu sighed in relief. It all started when he decided to build new facilities in the village.

Back then, he thought everything was ready and wanted to decorate the village. At that time, there were no ninja academies or medical facilities. With the memories sent back by his clones, he envisioned a village as well-equipped as Konoha.

So he began planning. A village couldn't develop without proper infrastructure, and he didn't want it to remain in a backward state.

The mistake was asking the system whether he could build these facilities directly. Since he had unlocked the Power Organization System early on, he wasn't sure if the feature still existed after integration.

But the system was efficient—without hesitation, it materialized all the construction materials outside the village and even threw in a bunch of related books and tools.

There were books like Basic Ninjutsu Teaching, Introduction to Medical Knowledge, Maintenance and Care of Ninja Tools, Zixu's Teachings, Will of Fire 6.0 (Zixu Special Edition), along with blueprints for standard pistols, advanced chakra extraction techniques, chakra-powered energy generation, and much more. Anything he could think of was there.

Just as Zixu was marveling at the system's generosity and speed, he noticed the system notification—he was already a million points in debt.

From that moment, Zixu was stuck repaying his debt. Fortunately, the system wasn't entirely heartless. Since it was an organization-based system, contributions from its members also helped pay off the debt. And so, Zixu embarked on the path of a capitalist.

As long as he completed this mission, he would finally have some free time. Even without system points, he hadn't wasted these years. Not only had he mastered numerous techniques, but his dragon transformation could now last much longer.

He had even developed a new form. While it wasn't as powerful as his dragon form, it was far more efficient and placed less strain on his body. He preferred using this form in battle.

"Hey, brat! You're getting executed in a few days, yet you're laughing like an idiot. You gone mad?" A Kirigakure shinobi sneered at Zixu, watching him grin foolishly inside his cell.

"Ah, yeah, yeah." Zixu didn't bother arguing. This time, he had been caught on purpose. Originally, he just wanted to take a stroll around Kirigakure, but after sneaking in, he overheard that the village still had no clear successor for the Mizukage position. That piqued his curiosity. No matter how much he asked, he couldn't get any solid information.

However, during his inquiries, he came across something even more interesting, which led him to deliberately get captured.

"Man, it's too damp in here. Can you move me to a different cell?" Zixu waved lazily at the jailer with a smirk.

The jailer sneered at his carefree attitude, clearly unimpressed by a death row inmate who showed no regret.

After glancing around, he called over a dozen subordinates to transfer Zixu to another cell.

"Fine. Every death row prisoner gets one final request before their execution, as long as it's not excessive. Consider this your privilege. I just hope you don't end up regretting it," the jailer scoffed before sealing the new cell with dozens of additional security tags.

Zixu glanced around his new cell—it wasn't much different from the last one. Maybe it was a little drier? Hard to tell. The entire place still felt damp. The only noticeable change was that the railings had been swapped out for a stronger metal.

Knocking against the bars, Zixu calculated how much force he'd need to break them.

"Oi, shut up, or I'll kill you," came a deep, magnetic voice from the adjacent cell.

Zixu froze for a second, then smirked. "Looks like I found the right place, huh, Zabuza?"

There, leaning against the bars with one leg propped up, was Momochi Zabuza. And where Zabuza was, Haku was bound to be as well—but Haku's condition looked terrible. He was in the same cell, covered in wounds, his frail body smeared with dried blood. He looked lifeless.

"Who the hell are you?" Zabuza narrowed his eyes at Zixu, who clearly knew his name, but he had no recollection of this burly guy.

Zixu's gaze darkened as he saw Haku's injuries. Without a word, he reached into his system storage, pulled out some healing medicine that Karin had given him, and tossed it through the bars.

"Answer my damn question. Who are you?" Zabuza didn't take the medicine immediately, though he was clearly surprised that Zixu could retrieve items from seemingly nowhere. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

"As for me... well, you might not remember me." Zixu shrugged. It had been years, and he had changed a lot—it wasn't surprising that Zabuza didn't recognize him.

"Z-Zixu...?" A weak whisper came from the side. Haku, barely conscious, had opened his eyes. Even without a blade in hand, his instincts made him reach for a weapon to prop himself up.

"Yeah, it's me. Take the damn medicine." Zixu nodded.

Zabuza grabbed the medicine and handed it to Haku.

It wasn't some miraculous cure that would instantly heal wounds, but the effects were noticeable—gradually, their strength began to return.

"Not like it matters..." Zabuza muttered under his breath. He wouldn't say it out loud, but in his heart, he knew—what was the point of recovering? They were going to be executed anyway.

Even if Zixu could smuggle things into the prison, there was no way he had the ability to break them out. If he did, why the hell would he have been caught in the first place?

Was it possible that Zixu had gotten himself arrested just to rescue them? No way. There was no way.

Was there?
