The commentator's tone suddenly turned serious, and his words stirred the crowd from the Whirlpool Country. Yes, this was their land.

For some reason, Naruto, sitting in the audience, felt a strange warmth blooming in his chest—a sense of belonging. Even though he had already mastered Sage Mode, the attitude of Konoha's villagers hadn't really changed.

As soon as the commentator's voice fell, the battlefield began to shift.

Previously, the venue was divided into small arenas for multiple matches. But that layout wasn't suitable for a large-scale brawl.

Boom—! The small fields, once like squares on a chessboard, began to move. Their mechanical bases restructured in sync, reminiscent of a military parade.

The audience was treated to a stunning mechanical transformation, marveling at the seamless assembly of the terrain.

Soon, the venue was fully reassembled. The massive battlefield now covered all the open space and was packed with boulders, streams, plants, and muddy patches—just like a wild, untamed terrain.

Contestants stepped onto the field one by one. Karin, who had just fought earlier, returned without much rest—but she hadn't used much chakra anyway.

With the commentator's hyped-up announcement, the crowd erupted into deafening cheers. Even through the soundproof walls, the contestants could hear the uproar.

The match began.

The arena was huge. Solo players quickly retreated to hide and observe. Some used transformation or teleportation to escape entirely, clearly aiming to outlast everyone.

The allied groups stuck together. After exhausting earlier fights, they just wanted to get this over with.

Aburame Hatsuizumi and her group efficiently pulled out firearms from their waists. While everyone had varying skill levels, basic gun use was a standard class.

After getting beaten down by the Whirlpool Country's firearms before, ninjas from other villages had learned to adapt.

Quickly, they launched Earth Release (Doton) techniques to form thick fortresses around themselves. Towering like miniature hills, these barriers were dense and stretched near the Whirlpool Country's team.

Tenten, ever resourceful, summoned a giant iron pot from her scroll and covered the fortress—making the whole thing look hilariously awkward.

"Is he cooking dirt in a giant pot, or is this a rock-platform turtle cosplay?" Uzumaki laughed. They hadn't even attacked yet, but the enemy had already built their shelter. Were they trying to die from laughter?

"Giant turtle cosplay? No, that's clearly a tortoise," Karin quipped, firing a bullet. Clang! The bullet sparked off the iron pot. It pierced through the iron but struggled to break through the earth beneath.

"Did they forget something?" Aburame Hatsuizumi smirked, her cold face curling into a knowing grin.

"We don't just use guns. We also know ninjutsu."

Realization hit everyone. If the enemy wanted to turtle up, they might as well seal them in.

The others and Aburame Hatsuizumi used Earth and Water Release techniques, layering mud and stone over the iron pot. The others followed, piling more and more. It was like they were trying to bury them alive.

Even the solo players joined in. Eliminating a whole group at once? Why not?

Inside the pit, Naruto wiped the sweat from his forehead. The air felt suffocating.

"Why does it feel so stuffy? They're still going at it like crazy outside."

He took a deep breath, his instincts screaming. "Wait... shouldn't their guns have overheated by now? Is there something we're forgetting?"

Someone spoke up: "Logically, they should be reloading or cooling down. Something feels off."
