Six orange-haired figures in Akatsuki robes blocked Kakashi and his companion's path. Leading them was none other than Tendo Pain.

"That's right... the legendary Eye of God, the same eye as the Sage of the Six Paths... the Rinnegan," Kakashi muttered, heart sinking. Now, it was confirmed—Amegakure was the Akatsuki's hideout.

"Too many people have died here... Their pain made me grow. Only when ignorant, foolish children feel pain can they truly mature."

Tendo Pain raised a hand toward Kakashi, his tone sounding more like he was speaking to himself.

"But through the agony of endless suffering, I've transcended mortality... and become a god."

Suddenly, Kakashi felt a powerful suction force pulling him forward, his body helplessly dragged toward Tendo Pain.

With a black rod in his other hand, Tendo Pain vanished and reappeared behind Kakashi in an instant. While Kakashi struggled against the pull, Pain drove the rod straight into his body.

"Puff~" White smoke dispersed—it was only a Shadow Clone.

The real Kakashi reappeared at the other side, cold sweat trailing down his cheek.

"That power... is it the Rinnegan's?" Kakashi's nerves tightened as he observed the other Pains standing silently. The ominous feeling in his chest only grew heavier.

"We are the Six Paths of Pain... We bring pain to the world," Tendo said calmly as the other Pains began to move.

Six pairs of rippling purple eyes locked onto Kakashi and Rosinante. Their vortex-like irises gave off an eerie pull, like they could suck out one's very soul.

"Pay close attention to their abilities. Gather as much intel as you can," Rosinante said, stepping into his stance, entirely unafraid.

"Rosinante You're really going to fight?" Kakashi stared at his back, already thinking about how to retreat. Six against two—the odds were terrible.

"If I can't hold them off, escape. Bringing this intel back is more important than winning."

Rosinante's fists turned pitch black as he exploded forward with silent steps, aiming straight for Tendo Pain, ready to unleash a flurry of Inch Power Punches.

"Foolish."

An invisible barrier of repulsion stopped Rosinante less than a meter away. The next moment, he was launched back.

"Gravity and repulsion..." Rosinante muttered, emerging from the smoke and adjusting his posture. Long-range attrition wasn't his style—he needed to get close. So, he switched targets.

The other Pains had encircled him by now. Kakashi had retreated to a safer distance, carefully observing and recording everything. This was the key to bringing Akatsuki down.

"Huh~" Rosinante's figure vanished like a gust of wind. The next moment, he was behind a long-haired Pain. From this blind spot, there should've been no way the target could detect him.

Rosinante's hand darted out like a viper—but at the last second, Pain twisted his body unnaturally, dodging the strike.

"What...? He couldn't have seen that."

Rosinante looked up. The other Pains were all staring directly at him.

He quickly drew several darts and, like a hunting panther, flung them at the blind spots of several Pains.

"Dong Dong Ding Ding~" Every dart was dodged—except one, which struck the back of a bald Pain.

"So that's it. They're sharing their vision."

Before he could say more, the bald Pain launched the counterattack.

From beneath his Akatsuki cloak, mechanical arms adorned with black receivers extended like rockets, shooting toward Rosinante.

Reacting fast, Rosinante somersaulted back and narrowly avoided the strike. The moment he landed, the bald Pain began to change grotesquely—two more heads sprouted, and then his skull opened like a blooming flower.

But instead of a brain, what was inside were missiles, beams, and cannons—an arsenal of weapons.

He laid flat, opening fire wildly. Missiles, lasers, and bullets all rained down upon

Rosinante.

But he didn't panic.

Though the projectiles were fast, he was faster.

Suddenly, his face changed.

He felt a shift in the air and straightened his body, then twisted sideways with a burst of strength.

Boom!

A single punch slammed into the air, revealing the form of a chameleon-like summoned beast with a Rinnegan and a black rod through its tongue. It was knocked out cold.

His fists, enhanced by the fusion of Gentle Fist and Armament Haki, were devastating—even against summons.

But his expression grew grim.

"You've got way too many tricks up your sleeve, Akatsuki Leader. We need more information..."

Flames wrapped around Rosinante's fists as he launched another punch.

Boom!

The Pain hiding behind the chameleon didn't dodge in time and was blasted into the ground. The fire seeped into his system, burning from the inside.

But despite the fatal damage, the man simply stood up again, staggering.

They were monsters—undying and relentless.

"This pressure... these things aren't normal people."

"Give up your struggle. It's foolish to defy a god," Tendo said coldly as he and the others pulled out their black chakra rods.

"Huh... Corpses?"

Rosinante's eyes narrowed. The black rods embedded in their bodies...

"If I destroy those rods, I might shut them down."

He rushed forward again, flames cloaking his arms—only for the flames to be absorbed instantly by one of the Pains.

"Absorbing chakra now? Tch."

Undeterred, Rosinante picked a new target and struck again.

Suddenly, a sharp pain stabbed into his mind.

He felt a spiritual pull—his spirit being drawn out, just from locking eyes with the enemy.

"Ding~"

A faint spark of Haki exploded within him, snapping the mental chains. The pain shattered instantly, and his punch landed.

Fingertips pressed into flesh, and in the blink of an eye, his palm became a fist. With an explosion of power condensed into a single inch, he struck.

"Inch Strength: Opening the Mountain!"
