Kisame Hoshigaki narrowed his eyes, revealing a cruel smile as he gazed at Killer Bee. Behind him, Samehada (Sharkskin) twitched slightly, almost as if it had caught the scent of a delicious meal. The sword's jagged scales quivered with anticipation, pointing directly at Killer Bee.

"Tsk~" Killer Bee clicked his tongue. He could tell right away that this guy had bad intentions. But without a legitimate reason to strike first, he could only remain on high alert.

Kisame's body twisted slightly, his movements smooth and sinuous—like a massive fish swimming through water. The faint glow of his shark-like scales shimmered ominously as he surged toward Killer Bee with terrifying speed. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

"Bang!"

Killer Bee crossed his arms in front of his chest. In an instant, his arms morphed into massive, pink-hued octopus tentacles. The surface of his limbs became rough and abrasive, like sandpaper-polished stone.

Kisame swiftly drew Samehada from his back, swinging it down toward Bee's tentacle-covered arms. The sword's barbs pierced into the fleshy tentacles, greedily gnawing at Killer Bee's chakra-rich flesh. Samehada's fanged mouth writhed, its serpentine tongue lapping hungrily, unsatisfied.

"Crack!"

Killer Bee's eyes widened slightly at the sharp sound. The bones in his right arm splintered under the sword's crushing force. A searing pain shot through him. Without hesitation, he shifted his left arm forward, blocking the blade to protect his fractured right limb.

Samehada continued to feast. The chakra-infused tentacles, linked to the Eight-Tails, gradually reverted to their original form as Samehada ravenously drained Bee's chakra. The sword's body swelled, growing larger and more menacing.

"Pfft...!"

Kisame's next strike landed, carving a deep gash into Killer Bee's shoulder. Blood spurted out, staining the ground. Only then did Samehada reluctantly slither back into Kisame's grasp, seemingly satiated for the moment.

"Hmph!" Kisame sneered, watching Killer Bee's blood drip freely. His shark-like grin widened with sadistic satisfaction. Without wasting a moment, he lunged at Bee once more.

But the Raikage, A (Fourth Raikage), was not one to sit idly by. The moment he sensed his younger brother was in danger, his body surged with electric-blue lightning.

In the blink of an eye, he activated the Raiton: Raigyaku Suihei (Lightning Style: Liger Bomb), his body shrouded in a blinding current. He tore across the ground faster than lightning, leaving a scorched furrow in his wake.

Before Kisame even realized what was happening, A's fist slammed into his stomach with the force of a meteor.

"BOOM!"

Kisame's body shot through the air like a kite with a snapped string. Blood spewed from his mouth, splattering several meters into the air. The impact sent him flying out of the village, crashing violently into the rocky terrain beyond.

Although Killer Bee was injured, he refused to be taken lightly. His body still possessed its speed and ferocity. As his blood painted his skin red, several crimson tails burst forth from behind him.

His form began to shift. No longer fully human, Killer Bee partially transformed into the Eight-Tails' form—his body crouching low to the ground with four massive, muscular tentacles bracing him.

With a mighty push of his legs, he soared into the sky, punching in the direction where Kisame had been flung.

Despite the lingering sting of Samehada's bite, Bee felt no fear. Kisame's monstrous strength was undeniable, and the sword's chakra-devouring abilities were troublesome. Yet Bee's fighting spirit burned even brighter.

"Bang!"

Another explosive collision rocked the area. Mid-air, Killer Bee's punch struck Kisame, sending him hurtling backward once more.

The battle of the three warriors—Killer Bee, Raikage A, and Kisame—spilled out of the village and into the desolate wilderness.

Kisame groaned as he staggered to his feet from the wreckage of shattered wood and jagged rocks. His upper body garments were torn to shreds, exposing his sinewy, shark-like physique.

His chiseled muscles were visibly dented where the brothers' attacks had landed. Yet despite his battered appearance, Kisame remained eerily calm.

Without hesitation, he slowly unraveled the bandages from Samehada.

The sword's writhing form slithered into Kisame's body, merging with him inch by inch.

Moments later, Kisame's entire form transformed.

If his prior appearance had merely been shark-like, his new form was now fully monstrous.

His arms sprouted shark fin-like protrusions, and a massive dorsal fin jutted from his back. His legs elongated and thickened, while a powerful tail extended behind him. The bones of his head expanded and fused, forming an imposing shark skull.

His gills flared, inhaling and exhaling in a slow, rhythmic motion. His eyes burned with a violent, bloodthirsty gleam.

Killer Bee and Raikage A, intending to interrupt his transformation, charged forward.

But before they could strike, a pair of scarlet Sharingan eyes emerged from the darkness.

The ominous crimson gaze locked onto both brothers. The illusion was so powerful, it felt like a razor-sharp blade piercing directly into their vulnerable minds.

For most shinobi, a genjutsu would be fatal. However, Killer Bee, as the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, was uniquely resistant. When subjected to illusions, Gyūki (Eight-Tails) could disrupt the genjutsu chakra, freeing him.

But this time... Gyūki didn't dispel the illusion right away.

Even the hardened Raikage, whose will was indomitable, found himself momentarily caught. Though his strong mental fortitude usually granted him near-immunity to genjutsu, he couldn't immediately shake this one off—a testament to its terrifying potency.

Water flooded the entire battlefield, forming a colossal dome that encased both Killer Bee and Raikage A.

The prison was centered around Kisame, moving wherever he moved.

Countless small sharks, created from the surrounding water, swam through the current with lethal intent, snapping and tearing at the brothers. The violent flow of water corroded their chakra with each passing second.

Kisame had remained silent throughout the battle, never revealing his true purpose.

But the brothers knew—his target was Killer Bee. Their conflict could only end in death.

"Bee!" A shouted, bubbles escaping his lips as he struggled against the water's crushing force.

Bee, his eyes sharp, nodded. No words were needed. The two brothers shared the same thoughts.

Crimson octopus tails erupted from Bee's back, thrashing through the water at breakneck speed.

The sharks Kisame released were shredded into pieces in an instant, unable to stop the ferocious tentacles.

Meanwhile, A activated his Raiton: Raitingu Surasshu (Lightning Style: Lightning Slash). Blinding bolts of electricity surged from his body, evaporating the surrounding water with intense heat, creating a clearing within the water prison.

But Kisame remained unfazed.

He was known as the "Tailed Beast Without a Tail" for a reason. In his Samehada-fused state, he could effortlessly absorb his opponents' chakra, growing stronger with every second.

The water prison itself subtly drained the brothers' chakra, making escape nearly impossible. The advantage was entirely his.

Kisame's enhanced aquatic perception allowed him to detect every movement.

Forming a series of hand seals, he summoned a massive water shark—the Suiton: Suikōdan no Jutsu (Water Style: Water Shark Bomb). The beast surged through the water, aiming for Killer Bee.

But before the water shark could strike, Killer Bee unleashed a burst of dark, viscous ink, clouding the battlefield. The shark was instantly engulfed and dispersed.

Suddenly, Uchiha Itachi's voice echoed in Kisame's ear.

"Kisame, be careful of their taijutsu."

From the swirling water, a murder of black crows emerged. Their feathers scattered into the current before reforming into Itachi's figure.

"I'll handle the Raikage," Itachi declared calmly, his Mangekyō Sharingan glowing ominously.

"Got it, Mr. Itachi." Kisame nodded.

He controlled the water shark, directing it toward Killer Bee once more, while Itachi turned his attention toward Raikage A.
