When Zixu transformed into a dragon, even Mukade sensed something was wrong. He moved his fingers swiftly, shooting purple chakra threads from his fingertips. Although surprised, he wasn't particularly worried.

"The dragon vein gives me endless chakra. In this place, I'm invincible. I'm basically a dragon myself..." Mukade laughed wildly, his fat body trembling with amusement, making him look like a walking pork belly.

"Die." Zixu didn't waste time talking. Once hostility was confirmed, he focused solely on killing the opponent.

Several lightning orbs condensed in front of the dragon's mouth, while flames wrapped around Zixu's massive dragon body, forming a blazing fire dragon. Wind blades spun around its surface like dynamic, ever-shifting dragon scales.

The wind blades sliced through the air, and the flames' high temperature only fueled the wind's power. The synergy of wind and thunder created an even more destructive thunder orb, and soon, the entire underground was filled with the terrifying form of Zixu's dragon.

Mukade's body also began to change. He dropped to all fours, multiple arms bursting out from his sides. His face twisted grotesquely, hair falling to either side as he revealed a pale, emotionless expression. No longer Mukade, he revealed his true form—a monstrous centipede puppet.

All the surrounding puppet fragments began to stir under his control. Like a magnet, the centipede attracted the fragments to itself. In seconds, a colossal centipede, equal in size to the dragon, emerged underground. Its blade-like legs gleamed dangerously, and streams of purple poison sprayed from its flanks. Its upright head bared sharp fangs as it lunged at the dragon.

Seeing the situation spiraling out of control, Minato Namikaze immediately took Princess Sara away. Right now, their top priority was shutting down the dragon vein. He instructed his teammates to assist Zixu while he got Sara to safety.

"Princess Sara, the situation's critical. You're the only one who can close the dragon vein—please!" Minato and Sara vanished in a yellow flash and reappeared in a deeper part of the underground chamber.

Minato retrieved his kunai from the ground. Sara, though still in shock, nodded firmly. She no longer wanted to be manipulated like a puppet—she wanted to prove her worth.

Minato handed her a marked kunai for safekeeping, then rushed back to the battlefield.

Back on the battlefield, things were intense. Zixu, in his dragon form, tore the centipede's body apart with ease. Flames, lightning, wind—his destructive power overwhelmed the centipede like a tank crushing a bug.

But Zixu and his teammates couldn't celebrate. This had happened too many times. No matter how many times they destroyed it, the centipede always regenerated completely. With the dragon vein supplying it, even a dismembered centipede kept fighting.

Purple chakra surged over its wounds, and broken limbs regrew rapidly. Everything in the environment could become part of its body. Zixu realized that while he could destroy it, the centipede's regeneration was just too fast. A head-on battle wouldn't cut it.

"If standard methods won't work... then let's try something else," Zixu muttered, adjusting his strategy.

He canceled his dragon transformation and reverted to human form. Behind him, countless golden chains burst out, but these weren't normal chakra chains. Strange black curse seals ran along their lengths—similar to those seen on Orochimaru or Hidan, but in reality, they resembled the spell markings on the Shinigami's hand from Shiki Fūjin (Dead Demon Consuming Seal).

" Sealing Technique... Is this guy from the Uzumaki clan?" Minato thought to himself. He instantly recognized the sealing technique. His wife Kushina was also an Uzumaki, and many of his own sealing jutsu were taught by her. The moment he saw Zixu's flowing red hair, something clicked.

The golden chains wrapped tightly around the centipede, searing its body with black seals like branding iron. One by one, sealing marks burned into the monster's flesh.

The centipede realized this was dangerous. A chakra cannon formed in its mouth, and it blasted the chains apart at high speed.

"These seals... they're slowing down my chakra regeneration. Sealing jutsu? Tch..." the centipede growled, hiding its real body deep inside the puppet. It calculated. So long as it controlled the dragon vein, it would eventually wipe out these pests. But first—Sara had to die.

"You chose the wrong enemy. You all must die..." it hissed. Countless limbs moved rapidly as it burrowed into the earth, chasing after Sara.

"Bug Sphere!"

"Byakugan (White Eye)!"

Minato's teammates acted fast. The swarm of insects bound the centipede's lower body just as it tried to escape, while a Hyuga activated his Byakugan to trace the centipede's path.

"Zixu, come here!" Minato shouted. Zixu instantly got the signal and ran over.

"Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique)!"

In a flash, Zixu and Minato vanished, reappearing next to Sara.

Underground structures began to tremble violently. Even the buildings above ground swayed as loud rumbles echoed like an earthquake.

Sara now stood before a massive stone gate. Behind it lay the dragon vein. No matter how hard she pushed, the gate wouldn't budge.

"Minato, you go help evacuate the city. That's your specialty—after all, you're the Yellow Flash of Konoha." Zixu didn't wait for a response. He moved past the stunned Sara and approached the stone gate.

Sara expected some sacred ritual or secret jutsu to open the door. But instead, Zixu did something absurdly blunt. He raised his kanabō (spiked club), covering both it and his hands in Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki). Just to be safe, he layered in some Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki) as well.

"W-Wait, slow down—!"

Before she could finish, Zixu smashed the gate.

The stone door, once seen as impenetrable, shattered completely. The entire wall behind it crumbled to dust as well.

"This master key works great. Let's not waste time—move!" Zixu grabbed Sara and led her inside. Minato looked like he wanted to protest, but he knew the civilians needed him more. After weighing things out, he rushed off to help evacuate.

"Hang in there. I'll be back," he said, disappearing from the tower's base.

Watching Minato vanish, Zixu felt a twinge of envy.

"Flying Thunder God Technique... if I could learn that, I could leave Sky City temporarily and handle other business. I need to find a way to learn that jutsu..."
