Madara's condition at this moment looked strange—his entire body wrapped in a massive shell of defeat. To the untrained eye, he appeared as though he had been sealed by Chibaku Tensei instead of becoming the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki.

Zixu, true to the warrior's code of striking hard while the enemy transforms, didn't hesitate. He launched his attack on Madara without mercy. Hatsuizumi joined in instantly, as if the two had coordinated it beforehand—bolts of lightning and swarms of chakra-charged insects shot toward Madara like twin storms.

But Obito wasn't going to just stand by and watch. The plan had already gone off the rails. He'd hoped to replace Madara as the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki, but Zixu had "destroyed" the Ten-Tails before that could happen, leaving him dejected. Even after regaining his eyes, he had little will left to face a world drenched in hopelessness.

It became clear now—Madara had cast an illusion on everyone, including Obito himself. The old fox had even planned for this moment, masking his true intentions beneath layers of genjutsu. It was easy to forget that behind Madara's overwhelming ninjutsu prowess was the formidable illusionist talent of a true Uchiha.

The space in front of Obito began to warp. His ability was simple in theory, yet nearly impossible to counter in practice. The suicide bugs, powered to their limits, were swallowed up by his space-time vortex before they could reach Madara. For better or worse, he had no choice now—Madara was the only one capable of carrying out the Eye of the Moon Plan.

Black Zetsu floated above the battlefield, the flames surrounding him growing even fiercer. A cold smirk played on his lips—if he even had the capacity for any other expression.

Fire wrapped around his fists as he pulled back his arms, his rubber-like body stretching unnaturally. Then, like a slingshot let loose, his fists whipped forward, flames intensified by friction, turning them into two blazing serpents.

"I've been itching to beat your smug face in," Zixu growled, coughing up a mouthful of blood. His muscles tensed like steel cables. As the fire serpents closed in, he didn't flinch. With invisible force surging through his hands, Zixu met the attack head-on, clamping down on Black Zetsu's wrists like iron traps. The impact drove him backward, his heels digging two shallow trenches into the ground.

"I got you now."

With a grunt, Zixu summoned Rossinanti's power. A wave of spirit-silencing force pulsed from his grip. Black Zetsu's rubbery limbs lost their elasticity and reverted to normal. His body hurtled toward Zixu uncontrollably, like a spring recoiling too far.

Agony shot through his arms. Then, horror followed—Zixu's hands were covered in inky black curse marks, shaped like writhing tadpoles, creeping up Black Zetsu's arms like parasites.

"Struggle? Dreams? Effort?" Zixu's voice turned cold. "When even the freest spirit bows to fate, when the only way out is a god's handout... you become the opposite of freedom."

He let go.

Black Zetsu, springing back, tried desperately to counterattack using Zixu's own techniques. But it was pointless. The marks kept spreading.

Panicked, he bit down on a blade and severed both arms. His skin turned jet black—Hidan cursed body taking effect, halting the damage and keeping him alive.

Despite Zixu and Hatsuizumi's relentless assault, Obito and Black Zetsu had bought just enough time.

Cracks spread across Madara's cocoon-like shell. His overwhelming will had suppressed the Ten-Tails within. Chunks of the shell broke off like shattered glass.

Zixu's eyes narrowed—Madara had done it.

The shell collapsed completely, revealing a Madara who looked nothing like the man before. He floated silently in the air, long hair now stark white. A white cloak flowed around him, mirroring the Sage of Six Paths. Six black orbs—Truth-Seeking Balls—hovered behind him in a perfect circle. His limbs were pitch-black. In one hand, he held a sage staff.

Madara looked down at the battlefield like a god gazing upon mortals.

"Six Truth-Seeking Orbs..." he murmured. "As expected. Without the full chakra of the One-Tail, Eight-Tail, and Nine-Tail, some power is missing..."

Emotionless Rinnegan eyes swept the area. Upon spotting Zixu, Madara struck immediately.

Zixu sprang into action—he had no intention of letting Madara move unchallenged.

"I'll see for myself what the power of a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki really is."

"You can't win. No one can beat me now," Madara said flatly, like he was stating the weather. Without moving an inch, Zixu was suddenly slammed backwards by an invisible force.

"Invisible attack?" Zixu's Kagura's Mind Eye pushed to its limits, but he still couldn't detect anything.

Only when he used his Observation Haki did he sense them—four shadowy figures, eerily similar to Madara, blurry and ethereal. Two had already reached him, arms plunging toward his chest to rip out his heart.

His body moved before his mind caught up. An iron bead engraved with runes appeared in front of him. In an instant, Zixu vanished and reappeared at its location. The shadowy figures missed their mark.

Madara's brow twitched in surprise. "The Side Prison and Rinnegan attacks can only be seen by those with Six Paths power. How did he dodge that?"

But Madara had no intention of lingering. He wasn't at full strength yet. Without the remaining tailed beast chakras, his techniques were weakened.

The black orbs surrounding him morphed into long, deadly spears and launched toward Zixu like divine punishment.

Hatsuizumi had already activated Sage Mode. Empowered by natural energy, his insects now packed the destructive force of mini missiles. The air was thick with them—each one a ticking bomb.

Obito's eyes bled from the strain of constant use. Even with all his strength, he could barely hold back the swarm. His efforts were a drop in the ocean.

"Madara! Summon the God Tree! NOW!" Obito shouted, barely holding on.
