"Look at this, Lee's such a lightweight. He's already full after just a few bites." Choji chomped down on his skewered grilled meat, pointing at Lee, whose belly now looked like a bloated balloon.

"So you think you're brave?" Hyuga Chinano, who had been quietly slurping ramen, turned around and stared at Choji. This guy looked like competition.

"Damn right I'm brave." Choji patted his belly with a grin. Everyone from the Akimichi clan could put food away like champs—they feared no one at the dinner table.

"I'd love to see that." Chinano elegantly wiped her mouth after draining her ramen bowl.

Beside her, Hinata and Hanabi set their bowls down and gave Choji a fixed stare.

In that moment, Choji felt like he'd just awakened three wild beasts. He sighed—there was no turning back now.

Not far from the chaos, Aburame Hatsuizumi chuckled as if she'd found another unlucky soul. She placed her tiny three-tailed summon beside Shino, clearly wanting him to study it.

Just as Shino reached out to feel the creature's chakra, a miniature Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Ball) condensed in its mouth—and pop!—it burst.

It didn't have much chakra, so all it managed was giving Shino an afro. A new hairstyle wasn't so bad, honestly.

Karin now followed Zixu everywhere like a loyal puppy. She was self-aware enough to know this was downtime. Zixu wouldn't hold it against her if she slacked a bit—but if only she'd stop clinging to his waist like a koala.

Rosinante, Tsunade, and Jiraiya were locked in a gambling match again. Judging from the dark lines on Rosinante's face, he'd definitely lost. The fat black snake coiled beside them had given up and closed its eyes, pretending to be a scarf.

Gaara and Naruto, both Jinchūriki, were bonding easily.

"Does that thing in you whisper to you too? Telling you to use its power? Don't listen! That bastard's just waiting to take over the moment you slip." Naruto had a dead-serious expression. He'd lived it—he knew how these tailed beasts slowly lured their hosts into dependence, then broke free.

"Whisper? Nah. Ever since Zixu helped me reseal the One-Tail, it's been dead quiet. Honestly, I forget I'm even a Jinchūriki sometimes," Gaara replied.

"???" Naruto looked like a glitching emoji.

Somehow, Zabuza had ended up chatting with Kakashi. They'd fought often enough in the past, so they had things to reminisce about.

Haku walked beside Neji, arms full of gear. His blue and white uniform fluttered in the wind as he gazed up at the clouds.

Hydrangea and Tenten were deep in discussion about sealing and summoning techniques. Yamagami was fiddling with his gun parts again, while Kankuro gestured wildly at him—looked like they were trying to recreate a Pacifista from the blueprints.

Temari stared down at Shikamaru, who pretended to sleep as if the world didn't exist. She raised her Fūjin no Kotoba (Swing Word) just enough to bop him—but he didn't even flinch. He and Rosinante would get along just fine.

Meanwhile, the three princesses were kicking back like they were on vacation. They weren't about to lift a finger. Especially Princess Ichikishima—she was literally floating belly-up in the air.

"I'm so full... I could die happy right now..."

Then a mischievous girl yanked her out of the sky.

Zixu stood at the city's edge. His Homurakumo Eribētā (Flame Cloud Elevator) had already sent the other village ninjas down. The sky darkened into deep blue, stars twinkling like embers. The lights of the city glowed, reflected in the sky dome.

Aburame Hatsuizumi's moonworms flew out, their holy light syncing with the moonlight, decorating the cityscape like a dream.

"I wish this moment could last forever..." Zixu murmured, sipping wine under the moon.

"Hey! Zixu! Quit being poetic and come eat spicy BBQ!" Aburame Hatsuizumi and the others jumped out, waving him over.

"Yeah... this is all worth it." Zixu downed the last sip and turned away.

But while everyone partied, things weren't going so smoothly over at the Hidden Cloud Village.

Raikage A had just gotten word to protect the Two-Tails' Jinchūriki—but when he got to the site, all he found were scorched blue flames and cratered land. The whole area was wrecked, with soil and roots torn up like a battlefield.

"Damn it. What kind of crap defense is this?" A growled. He couldn't help comparing it to Zixu's defenses and getting pissed.

"The Akatsuki's on the move again. There's still the One-Tail, Four-Tail, Six-Tail, Eight-Tail, and Nine-Tail out there. Good luck to those guys." A's fists clenched. Losing the Two-Tails again just rubbed him the wrong way.

Pain's group worked fast—they were already heading to collect the remaining beasts.

In a quiet meadow, a man with brown bangs covering his left eye sat blowing bubbles. His blue haori swayed as he exhaled. Next to him, a woman with long, curly brown hair and green skin watched with a gentle smile.

"Utakata. It's time," he said suddenly, sensing danger.

"Why?" Utakata tilted his head in confusion.

Before he could react, he was enclosed in one of his giant bubbles. His body floated inside it and drifted away.

He shouted something, but he didn't look back. He turned and walked into the woods.

There, six cold figures waited.

Tendo Pain didn't say a word. He raised one hand, and a massive suction force pulled Utakata toward him.

Sensing the threat, Utakata didn't hold back. He entered full Bijū Mōdo (Tailed Beast Mode). Six sleek tails erupted from his back. He slammed his paws into the ground and shot toward the forest.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!" shouted the long-haired Pain. White smoke exploded as towering summons appeared—chameleon, rhino, ox, even a monstrous archaeopteryx—all implanted with black chakra rods and glowing Rinnegan eyes.

The monsters blocked every path, forcing Utakata to face all Six Paths of Pain.

Utakata formed a massive Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Ball) in his mouth. It crackled with raw chakra, a signature technique of the Jinchūriki.

But the enemy didn't move.

A short, fat Path raised his hands—and the sphere vanished into his body, absorbed.

Tendo Pain stepped forward again.

"Feel the pain..."
