The body of Pain that had been struck didn't show any immediate abnormalities—until Rosinante exhaled gently.

"Puchi~" A sound like flesh being ground echoed. The black iron nails embedded in Pain's body shot out all at once, as if violently repelled from within.

Rosinante caught one mid-air with a single hand. His palm, cloaked in Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki), didn't sense anything strange about it. He tucked the nail away, eyes narrowing toward the collapsed Pain.

Just moments ago, Pain had been brimming with killing intent and power, but now he lay lifeless like a marionette with its strings severed. The light faded from his eyes.

"So these nails are the key..." muttered Rosinante. He had cracked the code. These black nails were the control mechanism behind Pain.

But the other five Paths of Pain weren't fools. Rosinante's earlier blows had failed to land, so they had underestimated him. Now, having witnessed his strength, they were on guard. Every time Rosinante tried to close the gap, Tendō Pain unleashed his Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push), repelling him before he got close.

"Rosinante Attack his blind spot!" shouted Kakashi from a distance. Though ready to retreat at any moment, he still used his Mangekyō Sharingan to support Rosinante. On several occasions, he'd used Kamui to distort space, helping Rosinante dodge fatal hits.

"Retreat! One of them has mental and spiritual attack capabilities. Avoid getting caught at all costs. We've gathered enough intel for now. We'll deal with the rest later!" Rosinante shouted to Kakashi. He batted away incoming missiles with clawed strikes, then prepared to leave himself.

"You think you can come and go as you please? What do you take this place for?" A strange, arrogant voice came from behind.

Ye Wen only turned around after confirming Kakashi had withdrawn.

"No way... it's you!" Rosinante's eyes widened in disbelief. Someone who shouldn't be here had just appeared.

"Oh? You actually recognize me? Interesting..." The cocky voice paused briefly—but it was enough.

"Today's matter isn't over. We'll meet again," Ye Wen said. His body dispersed into smoke, leaving only the tall blond man behind.

"What a pity... he got away." The man smirked wickedly, cracking his knuckles before vanishing from Amegakure (Hidden Rain Village).

"That guy... he left the village." Tendō Pain sensed the rain and found no trace of the blond man's chakra.

"You're lucky, Kakashi... But Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village)—we'll meet again."

Pain's figure disappeared into the rainy night. Only Sasuke and Itachi remained, locked in combat in Amegakure.

Zixu stirred awake in Sara's arms, still hazy. To him, it felt like barely a moment had passed since they last met, but to Sarah, over a decade had slipped by.

"She's grown... looks like a real queen now," Zixu thought. His body was recovering fast; his limbs could already move.

He stood up and gently pulled away from her, gazing into her eyes.

"Now that we've met again... does our old promise still hold?" Zixu wasn't sure if Sara remembered, so he tested her gently.

"Lord Dragon God, how cruel. After all this time, that's the first thing you ask me?" Sarah

had clearly matured, though her essence remained unchanged.

"Roran will always support you. But I'll say this now—if your decisions ever endanger my people, I won't follow orders. Even from you, Lord Dragon God."

Zixu winced slightly. She had gotten wiser. He missed the naïve girl she once was.

"But growth's not bad. You can stand tall on your own now." He reached to pat her head—but she dodged.

"Not just anyone can touch a queen's head..." she said with a sly smile, then leaned forward.

"But if it's Lord Dragon God..."

She didn't finish—but Zixu had already frozen, not because of her words, but because of the intel Rosinante's clone just sent back.

"The Six Paths of Pain... these black nails... They work like Chakra no Ito (Chakra Threads). Shame we couldn't retrieve them..."

The intel on Pain was useful, but Zixu wasn't too concerned yet. The Castle in the Sky was still far beyond their reach. Their first target would be the Kumo (Cloud Village) or Konoha.

And then—

"...What is this?" Zixu saw the image transmitted before the clone vanished. A blond man in pink sunglasses and a flamboyant flamingo-feathered coat stood there.

His fingers were contorted oddly. A thin thread shimmered at his fingertips—ready to shoot.

"Donquixote Doflamingo?! How the hell is he here? A Transformation Jutsu? Doesn't look like it... and those threads aren't ninjutsu..."

Zixu's brows tightened. It wasn't Doflamingo himself that worried him—it was the arrival of Devil Fruit users, with him at the forefront.

"If he's here... does that mean Luffy, Big Mom, even Whitebeard might show up too?"

The thought haunted him.

He'd managed to combine chakra with Devil Fruit powers—so why couldn't those sea monsters?

"A real crisis is brewing... I need to confirm how many of these Devil Fruit users have appeared."

It all pointed to the system shifting. His original plans were now in disarray.

"Lord Dragon God?" Sara's voice broke his focus. She'd noticed his change in expression and gently patted his back.

"Little girl, I'm not fragile enough to need your pity," Zixu muttered, shaking off his grim thoughts and flicking her forehead.

"I'm probably older than you now..." Sara mumbled under her breath.

"Come on, let's head to the Sky Castle. Consider it a meeting between the two leaders of major factions."

Zixu realized Sara wasn't just a little girl anymore—she represented Rora now. Whatever power she commanded, it was good to have allies.

"The home of Lord Dragon God? I'm excited."
