Madara and Obito were elated. Their long-cherished dream was finally within reach—the Infinite Tsukuyomi, the grand illusion cast by the moon's reflection, ready to blanket the entire world in shadow.

But something felt... off.

They both noticed it at the same time—the moon in the sky... it was getting bigger.

Zixu's eyes narrowed. He felt it too—subtle shifts in gravity around him. The moon wasn't just an illusionary tool anymore. It was coming closer. Fast.

"Wait a sec... this isn't part of the plan," Zixu muttered. "Kabuto and his guys were supposed to destroy a part of the moon... are they trying to destroy the whole damn thing?"

His brow twitched, and a chill ran down his spine. If they were serious, it might break the Infinite Tsukuyomi—sure. But if they miscalculated... the Earth could be completely wiped out.

High above, the floating city of Roran responded immediately. Carrying the weight of its ancient glory, it nosedived toward the Earth. Being stuck between a crashing moon and the planet was not an option.

Behind Madara, the Divine Tree grew rapidly, its grotesque roots spreading like veins across the battlefield. At the top, a massive, bewitching red flower bloomed—its petals unfurling slowly—as an enormous Sharingan opened within, staring straight at the descending moon.

Thick roots surged across the land like living serpents, covering the terrain. The bugs from Hatsuizumi tried biting through them, but the roots weren't just unfriendly—they absorbed the insects like fuel, draining them completely.

"Zixu! What the hell do we do now?!" Hatsuizumi voice cracked. Her panic was obvious. The moon was getting closer by the second.

Zixu closed his eyes. He focused. A familiar presence pulsed from the moon above. Chinano... it's all up to you now.

Meanwhile, Chinano, who had only just regained her eyes, hadn't fully adjusted to their new power. But from her viewpoint, Earth was growing larger—fast. At the last possible second, Toneri forcefully altered the moon's trajectory. He was trying to crash it into the Earth.

With no time to hesitate, Chinano reached deep into the Tenseigans power. A blue halo burst from her eyes, her body glowing with fluorescent green light. An invisible force wrapped around the moon, struggling to pull it back into its proper orbit.

Back on the battlefield, Madara was still commanding the Divine Tree. The moon's shift was affecting him too. The other Kage noticed the looming danger and acted fast—they didn't have time to sit around and die.

"It's not Madara pulling the moon... is it?" someone muttered.

High above on his wooden dragon, Madara's Sage Mode radiated divine power. Red torii gates rained from the sky, sealing the ever-growing roots below.

The Kage struck together. Jiraiya and others who had just regained consciousness jumped into the fray. Of the five awakened Kage, four took up strategic positions in each corner of the battlefield. A massive sealing circle, glowing light purple, flared into life. It blocked the Divine Tree's root system from spreading further.

Orochimaru studied the seal with interest. "Hmph. That jutsu to isolate Hiruzen... this is the high-end version," he murmured with a smirk.

Meanwhile, Naruto—dragged back from the brink of death—was itching to return to battle. Sasuke stood silently, eyes on the chaos, calculating.

Despite their efforts, Madara held strong. His power dwarfed that of the Kage. His absurd recovery, his immunity to standard ninjutsu thanks to the Truth-Seeking Orbs... it left those without senjutsu or taijutsu skills completely helpless.

Even Senju Tobirama, the legendary Second Hokage, couldn't escape damage. Despite his blinding speed, he got clipped by the Truth-Seeking Orbs—and his Edo Tensei body couldn't regenerate from that. Those orbs didn't just nullify ninjutsu—they erased it.

Up above, blood-red shadows began to swirl on the surface of the moon. Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi was still activating, but Chinano didn't stop. Clumsy but determined, she continued to use the Tenseigan power, gradually pulling the moon back into orbit.

It was slow. And dangerous. Anything could happen in the time it took.

Zixu launched himself into battle. His target was clear—interrupt the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

With him in the fray, the balance began to shift. Madara could handle three Kage at once, but with Zixu eyeing him like a hawk, his grip slipped.

Obito was tangled up with Naruto and Sasuke. Black Zetsu had disappeared. Madara had no choice but to stop the ritual and deal with the threats directly.

"You filthy rats. If you're so desperate to die—fine. I'll grant your wish." Madara's voice twisted with laughter. "Hashirama... I've surpassed you."

For the first time, Madara laughed without restraint. Hashirama—his rival, his friend—held deep meaning in his heart. Madara wanted to kill him with his own hands, as proof that he had finally surpassed him.

"Hey, hey, don't pretend we're not here," Zixu snapped his fingers.

The area around him fell eerily silent, as if time itself paused. The Truth-Seeking Orb flying toward his face froze mid-air. Flames and lightning exploded around Zixu's fists as he charged at Madara.

A massive water tornado erupted within the sealing array. Madara, perched on the edge, got caught and pulled in. A giant wooden construct absorbed the water and sent a punch crashing into Madara's side.

Then—flash! A huge Rasengan infused with senjutsu chakra slammed into him from the front, blasting him back.

Zixu teleported mid-air, appearing above Madara, and dropped like a meteor. His fists, shaped like a coiled dragon, crashed down. The two Chakravartin clones guarding Madara were obliterated, and the real Madara coughed up blood under the blow.

He plummeted from the sky.

But he didn't die.

In fact... he felt fine.

No—better than fine. Stronger.

"Was it Orochimaru's resurrection jutsu...?" he murmured. He wasn't sure. But he liked it.

Meanwhile, the moon was slowly returning to its original path, guided by Chinano. The eerie glow of the Infinite Tsukuyomi faded.

Things were finally looking up.

Hashirama stood with his fists clenched. "The power of a Sage... really isn't something you can just fight head-on."

Only someone at the level of the Sage of Six Paths could battle another of that caliber. Regular attacks wouldn't cut it anymore.

"Hey, you," Hashirama said, glancing at Zixu. "I don't know who you are, but it seems like we're after the same thing."

Zixu nodded. "Yeah. And don't worry... I already have a plan to kill him."

He narrowed his eyes.

"If this guy really is what I think he is... then it's not over yet."
