Chapter 06: Black Cloud

While the young man was contemplating his life again, he didn’t notice the slight creak of the door. Someone pushes the door slightly and a pair of eyes look inside.

It was Gu Weiyi’s who’s wearing a hoodie and a mask to cover himself up. He decided to visit this new member after hesitating earlier. He’s really curious though. Their Manager looks very worried to this new guy even though it’s just been days since he came. She also showed anger and reluctance on handling the new guy but they didn’t expect her to sway too fast.

The group received background information about the young man and knew what really happened behind the scenes. They felt it was really bad luck for the young man to be a victim but that didn’t diminish their annoyance. So what if it wasn’t his intention? They’re still angry anyway and that means not accepting him.

But it was also due to that information that he finally yielded and decided to visit him.

He carefully opened the door sneakily and took a peek inside. His eyes immediately landed on the person on the bed and he was stunned.

Even with such a pale face, it did not diminish the good-looking feature of the young man inside. His natural curly hair was a bit messy but it added a touch of a child-like. He was obediently looking intently at the phone and is sitting with his back leaning on the soft pillow behind him. And the way he was staring at the phone was filled with many emotions like curiosity, amazement and such.

The temperament around him was also very eye-catching. Even though he looks weak and sick, it didn’t diminish the unusual innocence around him that could totally arouse any pity from someone.

In total, this Feng Rouyun looks very clean and pure.

Innocence? Clean? Pure? His eyebrow twitched at those words and a rush of irritability flooded inside him. He continues staring at the young man who seems to be so oblivious to his presence outside. Gu Weiyi can hear the familiar song coming from the phone he’s holding so he guesses that even in this position, the young man is working non-stop to familiarize himself with the group.

"You’re Feng Rouyun, right?" Gu Wei broke the silence with an obvious question.

"Yes," Feng Rouyun smiled softly at him. "... Nice meeting you." Was all he could say.

"...." There was another silence after that because the young man didn’t speak anymore. Feng Rouyun couldn’t help but start fidgeting his fingers. What is going on? Should he say something? Should he be the first to break the ice? How? How to do it?!

He suddenly felt nervous so he hung his head down to think deeply. Countless questions quickly ran inside his head.

While the young man was busy thinking about what to say, he didn’t notice the cold expression flash quickly in Gu Weiyi’s eyes.

Because Gu Weiyi hates such people like this.

That soft smile that Feng Rouyun unfortunately evoked a trace of disgust from the past that he couldn’t help but frown.

He felt that this Feng Rouyun is very scheming. Was he planning to play victim so he could take his pity? Gu Weiyi observed the young man’s appearance more closely and he really feels that he’s right!

"!!!" The sight completely left him dumbfounded. His eyes widened and he was like a cat that was frightened by the sight.

But Feng Rouyun really felt the sudden horror at this moment and he just couldn’t believe what’s right in front of him.

It was that familiar black cloud formed just above Gu Weiyi’s head!
