Chapter 26: Chaos Flaring

"Sister Ru is so caring, why haven’t I seen this energy before? Sister Ru, you’ve changed," Chu Xining cheekily complains with a joking tone yet the words that he used were very obvious to everyone.

Ru Anyan rolled her eyes. This kid is really pushing her limit. Of course she didn’t approach them before with this energy because they’re such a headache even before! Only she knew how much stress wrinkle she got every time she ’forced’ them to eat vegetables! They’re even worse than normal children!

Look at Feng Rouyun beside her! He didn’t even frown at the ton of vegetables she put on his plate and was just obediently eating whatever she gave! Who won’t adore such a cute kid?!

"Just mind your business." She sarcastically said, rolling her eyes and turning her face to Feng Rouyun again with a wide smile on her face, completely flipping her attitude towards the two.

Chu Xining was speechless and the grip on his chopsticks tightened.

He also glared at Feng Rouyun openly. Sister Ru became this after he came! She’s having her favorites now!

Being the youngest among them, Chu Xining was accustomed to her indulgence even though she kept on nagging him too.

Chu Xining felt aggrieved. After all, no matter how high he accomplished, he was still a 20 year old, and even with someone who didn’t grow up in a healthy environment making him sensitive to how the people treat him.

His impulsiveness flared up and he just abruptly dropped his chopsticks and glared at Feng Rouyun.

"I want that sauce too!" He demanded with a fuming face.

The other four paused their action and looked at him.

Ru Anyan’s expressions change with his words. "Xining, you’re allergic to honey. You can’t eat this."

"But I want to eat too! Besides, my allergy isn’t that exaggerated. I’m fine with that sauce!" He still insisted and seeing Ru Anyan’s resistance, he raised his hand and quickly grabbed the sauce packet on Feng Rouyun’s hand.

He poured it on the fried chicken on his plate and quickly put some on his mouth before anyone could react.

"!!!!"

"Chu Xining!" Everyone was shocked at his actions but he didn’t mind and continued glaring at Feng Rouyun. He aggressively chewed the chicken and gulped it down as if he was declaring something to the young man in front of him.

And as if that wasn’t enough, he just used his hand to pick up the bite size chicken coated with the honey mustard sauce and put it in his mouth. He didn’t care about his bulging cheeks and the sudden tightness on his throat and just moved recklessly.

"!!!" Everyone around him gasped in horror even more at the sight.

"Xining, that’s too much!" Ru Anyan quickly stood up and signaled the other two to hold the latter so they could get the food inside his mouth.

Yang Yueran and Gu Weiyi moved behind the young man and just as they wanted to forcefully do the action, Chu Xining suddenly started coughing widely.

"!!!"

The young man’s face turned red as he forcefully spat out the food on the table. After that he reached towards the glass of water that Feng Rouyun subconsciously gave him and gulped down.

"Xining, I told you it’s dangerous for you!" Ru Anyan angrily reprimanded him while patting his back worriedly.

Yang Yueran went to grab the medicine in Chu Xining’s room whereas Gu Weiyi fanned him with the cover of a tupperware on the side.

"A’Xi, that’s too impulsive!" Gu Weiyi finally snapped too and scolded the youngest. Even if he’s angry at the situation, is that enough to endanger his life?! Was his impulsiveness more important than his life?!

"Drink it." Yang Yueran’s voice was cold and push the medicine. Chu Xining frowned because he didn’t like taking medicine but with Yang Yueran’s eyes sharply looking at him, he had no choice but to gulp it down with a crumpled face.

Unfortunately the medicine was only for relieving itches but it cannot prevent the high-risk of turning into a severe reaction.

Looking at Chu Xining who was still red, Ru Anyan grabbed her phone and quickly called for a private ambulance from the company.

And fortunately they’re just near the company building so the private ambulances are fast to come upstairs to them.

"You three stay here. It’s dangerous for you to come out. I’ll just call you later for updates." Ru Anyan warned the three and helped them escort Chu Xining away.

The apartment was left with gloom and anxiety for the member.

Gu Weiyi couldn’t help but rub his own hair into a mess and shoot glare at Feng Rouyun.

"Next time don’t flaunt your pretentious act in front of us, especially to A’Xi!" Gu Weiyi shouted and went back to his room, yet when he passed by Feng Rouyun he purposely bumped his shoulder.

He didn’t even look at the young man’s reaction and slam the door shut.

Feng Rouyun pursues his lips and his hand turns into fist, clenching them while silently waiting for Yang Yueran’s turn to blast on him.

However the man didn’t do it. Instead he sat silently at the chair and began rubbing his temples. The expression on his face looked gloomy and cold. His eyebrows were frowning and the way he started massaging his temples looked like he was having a headache.

Feng Rouyun also saw the black cloud above his head grumble again. This time, the vibration was even worse as if any second from now, it’ll burst out.

As soon as he saw that situation, without even thinking his body just instinctively went close and directly put his palm on the man’s head. He channels his spiritual energy and unleashes more power to help Yang Yueran without hesitation.

This was like an act of naturalness that was carved deeply in his bones and even in this situation, he will just automatically erase whatever thoughts inside his head and focus on healing the person in front of him.

Thus he failed to notice Yang Yueran’s body went stiff and the trace of sobriety flash on his eyes.

The moment when the young man went close and put his hand on him, Yang Yueran once again felt that familiar sensation engulfing him.

He felt like the other one pulled him in that large field of grass and he was once again basked in that breathtaking nature. It successfully erased the pain on his head and the negativity inside his head.

It indeed cleared the bad energy on him... and it also brought him back to sanity.

This time Yang Yueran confirms that he really wasn’t just hallucinating.

It’s true.

Feng Rouyun is indeed the source of this.
