With teary eyes, I looked at Kash.

I was hoping he would feel bad for me.

Even if I had made mistakes, I expected some sympathy.

He seemed completely content with kicking me out, as if he had been waiting for this moment so Iris could be the only one in his life.

"Take your stuff and fucking leave," Iris hissed.

Her words made me clench my jaw, but my eyes shifted to Kash again. There was not a single ounce of empathy in his eyes.

No affection. No love at all.

"You think you will be happy after stealing him from me?" I asked Iris in a shaky voice.

I could not even meet her gaze after the way they had insulted me. The ego, pride, and dignity I once had had been crushed under Iris’s filthy feet.

"Trust me, I am really happy," Iris replied.

Kash stepped closer to her and wrapped an arm around her from behind. He kissed her cheek right in front of me.

"You are such an evil person, Lara," Kash spoke.

My jaw dropped slightly. The embarrassment I felt from his words was unbearable.

Even when they pretended they were no longer together or that Kash had caught Iris cheating, he never used such words for her. Even while acting, he would never call her those names.

But he had no problem calling me all sorts of names. That alone was a brutal reminder.

A wake-up call that he never loved me. That he had stopped loving me a long time ago.

"Even if I had given you a chance, your plan was to get rid of my family and my children," Kash began.

I shook my head quickly and lifted my hand, trying to tell him that was not what I had planned.

"No, that is the truth. That is what you did," Kash grunted at me.

"The fact that you thought my family was not allowed to use my money, but you could have it all, only proves that you are the biggest gold digger of them all," he declared.

His words made me place my hand on my chest. He did not realize it, but they were causing me immense pain.

Or maybe he did realize it and was doing it on purpose.

"I did everything to save your money, Kash," I whimpered softly.

He rolled his eyes.

"No, you are a greedy woman who wanted the power for yourself and the money for yourself. You did not want my love. If love was what you wanted, you would have stopped once you thought you had gotten rid of Iris. Anyway, even if you had done that, you still would not have had a chance with me."

He shrugged casually, and my heart crumbled at the sight.

"If you give me one chance, I will make amends. I will live with Iris. I will stay in the guest house. I will not argue with your mother. I will beg her for forgiveness."

I started to cry, but Kash showed no sympathy.

"I have rejected you. You will receive your divorce papers soon, so fucking leave. I have nothing to do with you," he stated, paying no attention to my tears.

I knew this was my last chance, so I took it. I rushed to Iris and fell at her feet, grabbing them with my hands.

"Please, please tell him not to do this to me. Please forgive me. Just let me stay here. I will not bother you again. Ever again."

I cried at her feet, hoping she would feel something for me. But she looked stern.

In fact, she did not even stop me from touching her feet.

"Please, Iris. You are the only one who can understand me. You have been through the same situation as me. Do you not know how much it hurts when nobody listens to you?"

I cried, reminding her that there might have been a time when she felt lonely and wanted someone on her side.

However, that only seemed to anger her more.

She suddenly kicked me, and I fell back, shock spreading across my face.

"And all those times when I was in that situation, you were the one who put me there," she hissed.

"You were the one who wanted me to suffer, Lara. Do you seriously think I do not remember?"

She hissed again, her fists clenching and her eyes burning with hatred.

And could I blame her? I had never given her a reason to feel any empathy for me.

"I am realizing my mistake now. Please forgive me," I begged.

But no matter how much I begged, nothing changed on their faces.

In fact, Kash suddenly took Iris’s hand and began leading her back toward the mansion.

"Let’s go. You need to rest," he told her.

I sat there crying. I needed rest too, but he no longer cared.

Once they were gone, I stayed on the ground and cried.

After fifteen minutes, my warrior arrived with the car. He was the one who usually drove me between my father’s house and this mansion.

At that point, I knew that sitting outside and crying for days would change nothing.

I had to leave before I angered them further.

With nothing but a broken heart, I got up and stepped into the car.

The warrior loaded my stuff. While crying, I took out my phone and decided to text Markus.

This was my last attempt to get back at them.

"Does Zoe know you have been betraying her?" I texted bitterly, staring at the screen in anger.

When Markus’s response came, I shifted in my seat.

"Did you not see them play the video, you stupid dumb bitch?" Markus texted.

I read and reread the message with my mouth open. How fucking dare he?

Who the hell did he think he was? How could he speak to me in that tone?

So I called him. Some time had passed, and I thought I could at least talk to him.

I guessed they must have dealt with him too. The way he spoke made it clear that he was furious.

He picked up the call, and I heard shouting in the background.

"You fucking dumbass bitch, why are you calling me now?" he screamed from the other side.

"You cannot speak to me like that. I am a Luna Queen. Do not forget that," I shouted back.

"Oh, fuck you. You are nothing," Markus snapped.

"You are just a slut who sleeps around. That is the truth. An ugly woman who ruins everything she touches."

Markus continued yelling at me.

Honestly, I did not know what was wrong with this day. The disrespect I was getting from everyone was becoming too much for me.

"You will not speak to me this way. Do you hear me?" I cried out.

Tears started running down my face. I had become this weak now.

"Oh, fuck you. Why were you even trying to get rid of Iris when you were such a whore who slept around?" he spat.

He did not stop. He kept calling me names.

"Because of you, my life is ruined now. If you had not figured it out and spoken to me about it, nobody would have recorded it. You know they are putting me behind bars because of you."

His words made me realize that infidelity between mates was punishable.

Not only that, but deceiving and playing games with the Alpha King and his family was also punishable.

"Now fuck you, you ugly bitch. Go and die."

Markus cut the call before I could even respond.

My hands were shaking as I lowered my phone.

There was only one thought running through my head.

Kash had said he would ask for a DNA test.

What would I do then?

It was not a lie that this child was not Kash’s.

I had never planned to give birth to the child anyway.

My plan was that after Kash’s family left, I would fake a fall.

Then I would accuse his children.

That way, he would feel sympathy for me.

By then I thought I would have won his heart, and he would sleep with me.

Then we could finally have our own children.

But now it was too late.

And I was in grave trouble.

Throughout the ride home, I kept wondering what would happen when Kash asked for a DNA test.

Not only that, but the fact that Iris had won kept haunting me. I did not even know what hurt more, losing Kash or knowing that Iris had him now.

But I knew what I was going to do.

Once I reached home, I would tell my father everything. I would tell him what they had done to me.

And he would punish them the way they deserved.

I would not rest until their peace was ruined too.

But I must fix my mistakes so that I do not end up in jail like Markus.
