Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins

"You lied to me," my mother whispered, her eyes turning red from anger and what could only be seen as betrayal.

"You’re the one to speak?" I replied bitterly.

Our aggression toward each other faded when Kash grunted.

"I want my wife and my children back, and if anyone stops me, it will be a war nastier than anything ever imagined," Kash warned, this time choosing not to remain at a distance.

He began to step down the aisle, while Walkin and some of the warriors behind him rushed toward my children.

There was a sense of hope for survival. I mean, Kash did not accept my love, but at least I was not caged or bound by him. I was not forced into doing something I did not want to do.

More importantly, there was no gun and no threat to my children while living with Kash. However, the bitterness was still there.

Where I stand today is because of Kash alone. He drove me away from himself.

"Tell him no," my mother told Wilson, who turned to her before looking at me and then at Kash.

He remained eerily calm even when Kash reached the stage and stood face to face with him. I did not see Wilson panic. Then, right before everyone’s eyes, Kash grabbed my arm.

"Let’s go, we are leaving," he ordered without looking at me, his eyes fixed on Wilson.

The moment he started to turn around, my brother stepped into his path. Kash looked almost ready to strike him.

Even Kash’s warriors squared up, likely thinking Wilson was about to attack.

Instead, Wilson shocked me when he spoke.

"Sure, I didn’t know she was still mated to you. You can take her with you, and even your children, or whoever you want to take with you," he remarked casually, making me frown at how quickly he was letting me go.

"Wilson, that is your sister you’re handing over to a very mean and selfish man," my mother snapped, holding back the word werewolf.

"I’m talking, Mother. Let me handle this," Wilson told her, her face beginning to fall. "Apparently, you don’t get it. You’re such a fool. You’re such a fool for believing she went there asking for rejection from a man she still cries over, even after he cheated on her."

The moment Wilson said those words, Kash reacted by turning to look at me. I refused to look back at him.

My eyes stayed on Wilson. I was afraid they would attack my children. I was afraid they would use some signal and cause trouble.

My mother tried to speak again, but Wilson raised a finger, silencing her.

"You may leave. I don’t want any trouble. I just woke up from a serious illness. I want to cherish these moments instead of fighting, because my sister is hopelessly in love with the man who rejected her again and again, yet never rejected the mate bond," Wilson continued.

He said so much, and most of it was true.

"Anyway, you may leave," he added, stepping aside.

The moment Kash took another step forward with me, Wilson moved closer and whispered something in his ear.

I noticed the way Kash’s fingers tightened around my arm. He snapped his head toward Wilson in visible shock, then looked at me.

I was confused and worried. What did he say to cause such a reaction from Kash?

"Now you may have her. Have a good day," Wilson concluded, grinning as if he had achieved something important.

There was a moment when I wondered if Kash would suddenly change his mind.

The way my brother stepped away with a cocky grin on his face made that clear. It was expected.

However, the moment Kash started to walk with me, taking me with him, I realized that whatever was said to him would have long-lasting results, and much sooner than I thought.

Kash continued walking out with me. We moved down the aisle as the wind blew through my hair and gown.

It could have been a perfect, dramatic ending where an alpha arrived and saved his Luna, but it was not.

I pulled my arm free from Kash and rushed ahead to Walkin, who had my children with him. Kash hurried past me and took Amy from Walkin while I took Colin.

"Mommy, I’m so glad you’re safe," Colin whispered, while Amy wrapped her arms around Kash.

"Daddy, I was so scared," she told him, stirring emotions not only in Kash but also in Walkin.

"Take them to the car and wait with some of the warriors. I’ll come back with more people," Kash instructed.

Because of that, I caught his arm before he could walk away. He stopped and looked down at where our bodies connected, my hand loosely holding his arm. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

I let go quickly when I noticed his stare. It was not angry, but it held many emotions.

"Save my father, James, and Luca, they will kill them," I warned when I noticed Kash’s frown deepen. He only gave a brief nod.

I then walked away with Wilson as the warriors gathered around us, forming a tight circle.

When Walkin led us to the SUV, we climbed in and sat in the back seat.

Some warriors got in with us while others stood guard outside. Walkin had gone back with Kash.

After a few minutes, I saw Kash coming out with my father, James, and Luca.

"No, you cannot leave," my mother screamed, trying to follow them.

Wilson stayed right behind her, gripping her arm and stopping her from reaching my father.

The way my father moved made it clear he did not want to stay either. Why would he?

How could my mother expect him to stay when she had turned his own home and throne into a place of pain?

She disrespected him when she allowed Wilson to keep him in chains.

There were many emotions in my father’s eyes as he walked behind Kash. His head was lowered, and he looked defeated.

"Mommy, are we going back home now? I don’t want to stay here anymore," Amy murmured softly, pulling my attention away from the people getting into the SUV ahead of us.

After Kash settled them inside, he walked toward our vehicle and climbed into the back seat with us.

"Yes, we are," I replied as the car started to move.
