Long Yong gritted his teeth, took a breath and with a loud roar, pushed the spear away from him.

The golden arhat and Mo Chan were also pushed a step back.

The dark arhat engulfing Long Yong tried to punch at Mo Chan, but its fist was grabbed by Mo Chan's golden arhat.

The golden arhat then tried to pull the dark arhat towards it.

Long Yong tussled at first, trying to stay put where he was.

But after a few moments of struggle, he suddenly lunged forward instead.

He successfully knocked Mo Chan down onto the ground.

The dark arhat rained down punches at the golden arhat.

Slowly, the golden arhat gradually turned more transparent as it went on.

The huge bell also turned more transparent.

And soon, he was submerged into the ground, which was like quicksand now.

Long Yong and Mo Chan were also half submerged into the ground.

"Now!" Lin Fan shouted and he leaped out of the main temple.

Ho Ming, Hun Yen Kun and Wang Nian followed behind.

"Where is the exit out of this secret realm?" Lin Fan shouted and he turned his head back at Wang Nian.

"Over there." Wang Nian pointed at a white glow up in the sky.

Boom!

The main temple collapsed as Long Yong and the Dark Lord tried to use their Qi to get out from the ground.

Lin Fan knew they had to get out quickly.

He stopped and grabbed onto Ho Ming and Hun Yen Kun.

Hun Yen Kun had to grab onto Wang Nian's clothes.

Boom!

Lin Fan activated his Skybound Stride and leaped towards the white glow in the sky.

It took him a few leaps before getting to the white glow.

Whoosh.

They got through the white glow and fell onto a wooden floor.

Lin Fan lifted his head and saw that they were back at the top floor of the tower.

Ho Ming, Hun Yen Kun and Wang Nian also got up.

They got out from the tower quickly and saw that the West Monastery was in utter chaos now.

The main temple and the other buildings were also destroyed.

Columns of smoke rose from the destroyed buildings.

Cries of pain and screams coming from the pilgrims and monks were everywhere.

However, Lin Fan and the others weren't able to help.

They only had one thing in mind.

Get away from the West Monastery as fast as possible.

They leaped towards the stairs leading down to the exit.

And on the way, they passed by Long Kong who was swallowing some pills to recover from his injury.

There were wounds all over his body and after taking the pills the wounds slowly closed.

Boom.

The tower shook and two figures came out from the tower.

It was Long Yong and the Dark Lord.

Huo Ren Yi was unconscious, being carried by the Dark Lord.

"You think you defeated me!" Long Kong shouted and a huge arhat, as tall as a tower and covered in blood materialized and engulfed Long Kong.

He lunged at Long Yong and the punch onto the ground by the huge arhat shook the earth.

Lin Fan and the others made use of this chance and got out of the West Monastery.

They got onto their horses and headed towards Qing Feng Sect without stopping.

Traveling for a day and when the horses had to rest and eat, they had no choice but to take a rest.

"Wang Nian, what's your plan now?" Lin Fan asked as he added wood to the fireplace.

"Me, I will be going back to my hometown and enjoy life with the rewards I will be getting," Wang Nian said with a huge grin.

Lin Fan nodded and the night for them was fortunately uneventful.

And on the next day, they went on their separate ways.

The first thing they did was to report to Qing Yang Zi of what had happened.

Qing Yang Zi frowned when he heard that the Dark Lord is still alive.

And to make it worse, the Dark Lord had gotten help from someone like Long Yong.

That made him anxious as no one knows what other help the Dark Lord had and what he was up to now.

Was he seeking revenge on Qing Feng Sect or was he trying to take over the Quan Dynasty again.

Qing Yang Zi had a hunch that it might be both.

The other peak lords were also anxious as Qing Feng Sect hadn't fully recovered from the Dark Lotus Sect's previous attacks, and now they had to face the Dark Lord again.

Zhao Qing Ying stood up and said, "I think it's best we go on the offensive as soon as possible. Past experiences didn't work out so well for us when we waited."

Qing Yang Zi and the other peak lords nodded their heads as they recalled what happened previously.

Giving the Dark Lord time always meant that they paid the price with lives of their disciples.

"Senior martial brother, Yi Nian, go to the West Monastery to check on Long Kong and where the Dark Lord went," Qing Yang Zi said as he stroked his long beard.

"The rest of the peak lords stay in Qing Feng Sect with me, make preparations for the defense of Qing Feng Sect," he said and the other peak lords nodded.

"As for the three of you..." Qing Yang Zi pointed at Lin Fan, Ho Ming and Hun Yen Kun.
