From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master

Lin Fan and the others arrived at the building that looked like an arena.

Standing at the entrance, they could hear the loud cheers and roars that were coming from inside the arena.

"You are finally here, get into the arena now!"

Guards that were standing at the entrance drew out their swords and approached them.

Lin Fan frowned at the sudden appearance of the men.

He glanced over at Ho Ming and Hun Yen Kun and said, "Let's leave and check what's happening first."

They nodded and leaped back.

Thud.

They were stopped by an invisible wall.

Boom!

Lin Fan with all his strength punched at the invisible wall and a loud sonic boom could be heard.

But it did nothing to the invisible wall.

It seemed like the secret realm didn't allow them to leave once they got to the arena.

"Stay alert and deal with whatever comes our way," Lin Fan said.

They knew they had no choice but to do as the guards requested.

There were spectators on the spectator stand and they cheered when Lin Fan and the others appeared in the middle of the arena.

"Another group of challengers!"

"Get started already!"

"No one stands a chance against the reigning champion Mo Chan!"

They shouted hysterically, wanting the challengers to fight the reigning champion immediately.

"Quiet!" A man stood up and shouted in the VIP stand.

Lin Fan looked up and saw that it was Mo Chan, but now he was middle-aged.

"They have to get through the demonic beasts first to have the qualification to fight me."

Mo Chan said with his arms stretched out.

The crowd cheered and many of the spectators threw flowers at him.

He then placed his hands onto the railings and leaned forward.

"Release the demonic beasts and let the fun begin!"

Creak.

Metal gates all around them opened and revealed the beasts that were behind the gates.

Lin Fan did a quick glance and counted that there were six demonic beasts.

Three Ice Tusk Elephants and three Giant Burrowing Bears.

He figured he could take on four, but his main concern was with Wang Nian.

So far, Wang Nian didn't seem to be proficient in fighting.

"Ho Ming, Senior martial brother Hun, take care of Wang Nian," he said and he lunged at the demonic beasts coming towards them.

Ho Ming and Hun Yen Kun pulled Wang Nian behind them.

Sing.

Ho Ming drew out his swords and got ready.

With a flick of his hand, Hun Yen Kun did the same and turned his fan into a sword.

Lin Fan thrust his spear with the Dragon's Roar Thousand Thrust at the three Ice Tusk Elephants in front of him.

Their tusks gave out a white glow and an ice wall appeared in front of them.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

The slicing waves shot out from Lin Fan's spear hit onto the ice wall.

And with every hit of the slicing waves, chunks of the ice wall broke off and flew away.

It didn't take long for the ice wall to crumple under the relentless attack from Lin Fan.

"This one is different."

"Let me place a bet on him!"

"Today shall be a day to be remembered for ages."

The spectators got excited at what they saw.

On the other side, the three Giant Burrowing Bears lunged at Ho Ming and Hun Yen Kun.

Two of the Giant Burrowing Bears came from the side and swiped their paws down at Ho Ming and Hun Yen Kun.

The third one waited behind.

Ho Ming pulled Wang Nian to his side and activated his turtle shell artifact immediately.

A translucent turtle shell appeared and engulfed Ho Ming and Wang Nian.

Thud.

The paws of the Giant Burrowing Bear were stopped by the turtle shell.

Ho Ming then deactivated the turtle shell and thrust his sword at close range with a Twirling Wind Sword.

Whoosh!

The twirling wind shot at the Giant Burrowing Bear's waist and drilled through the thick fur and skin of the Giant Burrowing Bear.

Boom.

The third Giant Burrowing Bear that was standing behind saw its chance and it smashed its paws onto the ground.

It burrowed in the ground and got to the back of Ho Ming and Wang Nian.

"Ho Ming, watch out behind you!" Hun Yen Kun shouted at Ho Ming when he saw the third bear appear behind them out of nowhere.

Thud.

Ho Ming activated his turtle shell artifact again.

It successfully stopped the paws coming at Ho Ming and Wang Nian from behind.

Thud.

Hun Yen Kun leaped to the side of the Giant Burrowing Bear that he was dealing with and thrust his sword at it.

The twirling wind shot at it, and it ripped the arms off from the Giant Burrowing Bear's shoulder.

Roar.

The Giant Burrowing Bear stood and roared out in pain.

Hun Yen Kun didn't stop and he slashed his sword in the shape of an X.

The slicing wave from the cross strike sliced at the Giant Burrowing Bear's neck.

Splatter.

Blood dripped onto the ground as the slicing wave did its damage.

The Giant Burrowing Bear took a few steps back, swaying from left to right and with a loud thud, it fell onto the ground.

Having dealt with the Giant Burrowing Bear, Hun Yen Kun quickly turned and helped Ho Ming with the remaining two bears.

Meanwhile, Lin Fan had gotten through the ice protection wall of the Ice Tusk Elephants.

Boom.

He punched at the Ice Tusk Elephant that was in front of him.

The Qi wave that shot out from his fist hit the Ice Tusk Elephant's head.

Crack.

A loud sound of bone cracking could be heard.

This caused the Ice Tusk Elephant to be disoriented, and it started to swipe its trunk aimlessly.

Whip.

The trunk brushed by Lin Fan's face as he took a step back.

He could feel the chilling sharp wind cut across his face as the trunk passed by.

But it wasn't enough to open a wound on his skin.

At Level 8 physique, he was too powerful for them.

He pulled back his fist and then punched at the same spot of the Ice Tusk Elephant again.
