Lee Xiao, with his already small eyes, squinted and nudged at Tai Lan.

"Let’s try to persuade Ho Ming to get Lu Ding out of our team," Lee Xiao said.

"All right. Let me tell him that," Tai Lan shrugged and walked over to Ho Ming.

"Stop! You idiot!" Lee Xiao pulled him back and shook his head.

This Tai Lan isn’t the brightest.

But he’d rather be with Tai Lan than the pale-faced ’Lu Ding’.

At least Tai Lan’s swordsmanship was better than his.

"Wait for Lu Ding to make a mistake, then we can persuade Ho Ming convincingly. As of now, Ho Ming wouldn’t be so stupid to listen to us," Lee Xiao said.

"We definitely will try our best to stay alive," Lin Fan smiled and said.

"Tai Lan’s swordsmanship is excellent; if there’s any danger you can’t handle, run behind him," Lee Xiao patted Tai Lan on his shoulder and said.

Tai Lan scratched the back of his head and smiled at Lin Fan and Ho Ming.

"Yes, I shall protect both of you if anything happens."

Lin Fan nodded and smiled back at Tai Lan.

This team isn’t that bad, he thought.

Although he was aware of how the other disciples looked at him, he wasn’t bothered as usual.

Even though this Lee Xiao didn’t seem to like him, Lee Xiao’s actions said otherwise.

He still had the mind to brief them on how to try to stay alive.

Much better than the others Lin Fan had encountered before.

With the teams allocated, it was then time to move out and head toward the Tai Mountains.

Over a hundred disciples were involved in the mission and it took them.

The journey to the Tai Mountains was relatively uneventful.

Except for the occasional rest where fights broke out when some of the disciples got frustrated, there wasn’t anything unusual happening.

Once they’d entered the boundaries of the Tai Mountains, they camped for the night before commencing the onslaught.

Lin Fan, Ho Ming, Lee Xiao and Tai Lan were in their tent having dry rations.

Lee Xiao had now changed a bit of his perception of ’Lu Ding’.

’Lu Ding’ was surprisingly able to catch up to the long march.
