No one helped as they trampled onto those that fell onto the ground, now other than the screams were cries of pain.

Hu Tuo stopped what he was doing, and he lunged at Long Yong.

His body gave out a golden glow as he got closer to Long Yong.

The pilgrims saw the golden glow from Hu Tuo, and they quickly clasped their hands together and prayed.

However, Long Yong clasped his hands together and an arhat with a dark glow engulfed his body.

Hu Tuo's punch landed onto the dark arhat but it didn't do much.

He felt the bones fracture as they gave out a loud cracking sound.

But he had no time to cry out in pain as the dark arhat moved and punched at him.

A huge Qi Wave shot at Hu Tuo from the dark arhat's punch.

Hu Tuo knew he couldn't dodge in time so he used all his Qi and his body solidified into a golden statue.

He closed his eyes and waited for the impact.

The martial monks quickly ran in the direction of the main temple.

"Who are you! This area is restricted!" They shouted and came at Lin Fan with their golden staffs.

Lin Fan turned into a mist and passed through every one of them.

The moment the mist passed through them, they could feel their dantian out of control.

But he could see the battle between Long Kong and the other monk in the dark arhat was still going on.

When they got to the top level, it was a huge room with many statues.

Lin Fan glanced down the flight of stairs and saw that Wang Nian was slowly on his way up.

He didn't want to wait so he went down the flight of stairs with his Skybound Stride ability.

"Wow. Young man, take it slow." Wang Nian said when he saw Lin Fan coming at him with great velocity.

He could feel the gust of wind blowing at his face and robe when Lin Fan stopped.

"We don't have time. Come, let me help you."

Lin Fan held onto Wang Nian's waist and then boom.

He activated his Skybound Stride.

With a few leaps, they arrived at the top floor within moments.

Martial monks stood with their golden staffs, and they surrounded the Dark Lord and Huo Ren Yi.

"My Lord, do you need me to clear these pests for you?" Huo Ren Yi bowed and asked.

The Dark Lord shook his head and said, "No need. It's time I tried out the techniques from my masters in the Dark Temple."

"As you wish my lord." Huo Ren Yi bowed and stood back.

"Who do you think you are? Intruding into the West Monastery and treating us, the martial monks like thin air?" The leader of the martial monks wasn't pleased.

Having dealt with Lin Fan and the others and now this.

"Get into the eighteen arhat formation!" The leader of the martial monks shouted.

The monks leaped around and got into position.

Wielding their golden staffs, a golden glow engulfed everything within the formation.

One of the martial monks made the first move and smashed his golden staff onto Huo Ren Yi.

The golden staff gave out a golden glow as it came down onto Huo Ren Yi.

To his surprise, Huo Ren Yi just took the hit and absorbed it.

Huo Ren Yi then looked up and gave the monk a smirk.

And with a punch, Huo Ren Yi punched at the martial monk.

His punch had the same golden glow as the monk and when it hit, the martial monk flew into the air.

Leaving a trail of crimson as he landed on the floor meters away.

The other martial monks saw what happened and they lunged at the Dark Lord instead.

Thinking that the Dark Lord who wasn't as muscular as Huo Ren Yi was an easier target.

Golden arhats appeared as they smashed down their golden staffs at the Dark Lord.
