He held it up and got a shock.

It was a man’s head, pale, with eyes closed.

The disciple quickly flung the head away in fear.

The head rolled along the ground, and disciples got out of its way.

"That’s... That’s Hong from the scouting team," one of the disciples stammered and pointed at the head after recognizing who it was.

The other disciples stood up and drew out their swords when they heard who it was.

It was not over.

Whoever killed the scouting team was nearby.

Lin Fan saw the commotion, stood up, and took out his spear.

Soon after, an eerie laughter echoed in the air.

The disciples scanned around to see where the laughter was coming from.

And with a final jerk, the Ninth Monkey yanked out the head of the disciple from his body.

The other disciples standing near the Ninth Monkey’s knees shook as they went weak.

Their hearts thumped as they beat, trying to get their adrenaline kicking into action.

"Run!"

Finally, they couldn’t hold it in anymore and cried out.

What they had witnessed was too visceral for them.

Ninth Monkey smirked as he saw them turning and running away.

"Argh!"

White shimmers shot at the disciples, and they cried out in pain.

They dropped onto the ground and looked at what had hit them.

The white shimmers were white feathers that were now stuck into their bodies.

"Stop fooling around and finish them off."

Tenth Rooster said as he appeared from behind the horse carriages.

He held several feathers in his claw like hands.

Suddenly, he lifted his hands and threw out the feathers in the direction of Lin Fan’s team.

He saw Lin Fan’s team had killed Eighth Goat and knew it was best to finish them off.

Whoosh.

The white feathers shot at them with extraordinary speed like a shooting star.

It was so fast the white shimmer looked like the tail of the shooting star.

Lin Fan activated his Primordial Titan Bastion, and the feather dropped off his chest after hitting it.

With his turtle shell, Ho Ming managed to block the feathers coming at him, Lee Xiao, and Tai Lan.

Lin Fan stepped onto the air like a wall, and he shot at the huge feather.

It made the feather unsteady, and it descended onto the ground the very next moment.

When they landed, it created a small crater as they went into the ground.

Tenth Rooster looked up, and the next thing he saw was the tip of Lin Fan’s spear coming at him.

With his Qi back in balance, the Ninth Monkey had his strength back.

Lin Fan felt a sudden jerk as his spear went away from him.

He stood on his ground, and the spear went back and forth as they got into a tussle.

But there was no time to figure it out as he saw Ho Ming, Lee Xiao, and Tai Lan came running towards him with their swords.
